Dear Mr. [redacted], On 02-01-2016 you spoke with a representative of FMR. The representative informed you of the account that we had been contracted to collect on. Dear Mr. [redacted], First and foremost FMR is a third party collection agency. We do not purchase debt, it is placed with us for the purpose of collection. You reference of  “over 300 complaints”, we have answered every single one of them. Our findings are this site is a sounding board for...

slander. Over 200 of the complaints are consumers who never even contacted our office, just jumping on the band wagon. Your allegations of extortion are absurd, unfounded and untrue. We simply contact people who have valid debt out there and provide them an opportunity to resolve it, most of the time at a drastically reduced balance to help them out. If they orally dispute, or send it in writing, we immediately and permanently discontinue collection efforts. We apologize to you and your wife for any inconvenience and assure you that you will not be contacted from this office again. Nick W.

Forward Movement Recovery (“FMR”) is a debt collector.  We began placing calls to locate Ms. [redacted] regarding her [redacted] LLC loan, original account number ending in [redacted].  We placed several calls to numbers listed on the account placed in our office, presumably provided by Ms....

[redacted] when she took out the loan.  All skip-tracing calls take great care not to disclose the purpose of our call other than to locate the consumer we are seeking.  When we finally spoke with Ms. [redacted], she confirmed this by stating that her sister received a call that our office was attempting to locate her.  Ms. [redacted] called into our office on February 2, 2017.  After verifying she was the consumer we were seeking regarding the above account, we advised her that we were attempting to collect on said account.  Ms. [redacted] became somewhat irate with our agent who was explaining to her how the account ended up in our office and trying to provide her with the necessary information so she could validate the account on her end.  A verification of debt letter was emailed to Ms. [redacted] at her email that she provided prior to her terminating the call.  At no time during the only time we spoke with Ms. [redacted] was any threats levied regarding litigation or otherwise.  The entirety of the call with Ms. [redacted] was attempting to explain to her what the account was for before she simply terminated the call.  We have placed Ms. [redacted]’s account in a do not call status and will not contact her again regarding this account, unless and until she contacts our office as the debt remains unpaid.

Dear Ms. [redacted], FMR would like to apologize for the inconvenience. confusing our efforts with a different office. On December 8, 2016 you left a message after hours asking that you not be contacted, at that time your number was removed from our system. You or your family have not and will not receive any more calls from this office. We apologize for any inconvenience. Regards, Nick W.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, I want to be sure this does NOT show on my current credit reports as this was filed years ago.

Dear Mr. [redacted], FMR would like to apologize for any inconvenience. The representative you spoke with has since been terminated due to their inability to provide a high level of customer service. Per your request, you will not receive another call from FMR. Regards, Nick W.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as what they state will remain, in fact true, that I will not receive any further communication from their office.  The only thing I still find wrong is the email address they provided to me, that I supposedly had, was never ever created by me at any time--reason for the fraud. Otherwise, this will be an accepted resolution.
