Exceed Inc. Reviews (316)

Hi, Just a note, "[redacted]" from Exceed called me after I sent them a request to make sure I was not signed up for their program. The call was around 4:10pm EST on Sept. 12th. 2014. Sam said he was the head of the company or similar and just wanted to make sure "[redacted]" the sales...

guy was doing things right. He said that I was signed up for their program and I explained that I thought this was in error and that I was not interested in their program based on what I read about it and he agreed to cancel the registration that I told him was made in error.

If in fact I have been canceled from their program / am not bound to any contract with them then I would consider this issue resolved IN MY CASE. However, it sounds like a questionable business program, and in the interest of protecting other consumers like myself, I would encourage you to look into the legitimacy of the program and whether consumers know what they are being asked to sign up for.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

[redacted]

Homeowners pay us $to join our program and become a Member, $to
be a Member, $if they sell their home some day using any cooperating broker
they choose among our more than 5,cooperating broker offices across the
USA, $if they never sell their home
No homeowner Member has ever been asked to pay us one
pennyNo homeowner Member has ever paid us one penny
We pay our Members between $and $10,to be
a Member (amount determined by the value of the Member home when they join our
program)
It sounds like Mrs[redacted] spoke with an independent contractor
marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful
program for homeowners
We give our Members $to $10,in cash benefits to spend
on whatever they want to buy themselves, on average years before they sell
their home! And they can keep it even if they never sell their home! When
the home sells in the future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry
standard referral feeAnd our homeowner members pay less (by getting
the $to $10,in Member Rewards from us for which they pay $0)
On a home such as Mrand Mrs[redacted]'s home, they would have received $2,from us just for being in the
program (starting with the first $check they say they just received from us), for which they would pay $As they state it, an independent marketer 'duped' them into getting $2,for which they would pay $I wish someone would 'dupe' me into getting $2,for which I pay $I wish someone every day could 'dupe' me into getting $2,for which I pay $
So, by not being in the program, Mr[redacted] and his wife voluntarily gave away $2,that they could have otherwise spent onanything they desired.
We ALWAYS put our homeowner Members, our clients,
first, above all else
If Mrand Mrs[redacted] think it is better to NOT receive $2,from us, for which they pay $0, then they indeed should not be a Member of our Smart Homeowners Program (we named the program for our Members)
Pursuant to their wishes, we have cancelled their registration in our program, and as a result, as they desire, we will not be paying them $2,(for which they would have paid $0)
Thank you

An officer of our company spoke with Mr. [redacted], and we were told Mr. [redacted] wanted to remain in the program, and we sent he and his wife their first $100 gift card 9/25/15.
We also called him again on 10/1 to follow up to see if he had any additional...

As far as we are concerned, this matter is closed.

Our Member Services representative spoke with [redacted], and all is resolved. We are not sure why her credit union had any issue with the Member Rewards check we had sent to [redacted]. Rewards check we sent to her. We appreciate [redacted] letting us know her credit union had an issue with the check. Thank you [redacted].

[redacted]   Hello, I filed a complaint today against Exceed Smart Homeowner Program, but the issue has been resolved and I would like to drop my...

complaint before it posts to site. I have not received an email yet. complaint filed 7/13/2007 [redacted]   I spoke to Tom at exceed tonight and he agreed that the membership would be canceled with no penalties. No further action needed on my part.     Please let me know if there is anything further that you need in order to drop this complaint as the issue was resolved on 7/13/2017   thank you,

The marketer is no longer marketing our program.   We, as a licensed real estate broker, enter into cooperating broker referral agreements with other brokers. We are in long term agreements with more than 1,000 real estate brokerages across the [redacted], comprising more than 5,000 offices, and in those offices are more than 250,000 licensed real estate agents. An officer of our company will be calling Mrs [redacted], and will resolve her concerns, or will cancel her membership in the program, for which she pays $0.
We will also follow up with the real estate brokers she mentioned in her complaint, as their statements are incorrect, and...

inappropriate.

According to our Executive Vice-President who spoke with Mrs. [redacted], she acknowledges that she signed up for the program. We have offered her the opportunity to return to us the gift card we sent to her, and upon receipt we will cancel her registration in our program. It is illogical that a homeowner would not want to remain in the program, but we need not spend any more time convincing her of the benefits of getting free gift cards for which she never needs to pay us.

She was quite rude when we spoke with her. Why she would advise her client to not accept $2,000 for which he would pay us $0 does not sound like very good financial advice. Also, it would be inappropriate for us to not accept senior citizens into our wonderful program for homeowners when they desire to be a member of our program for smart homeowners, as this 'financial advisor' suggested. Were we to ever do so, then we'd get complaints about excluding senior citizens from our program.  Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I am still not happy and was told I had to remain in the program. I hope people look into this program before they initial anything.

I am rejecting this response because:It is my understanding...

that we can terminate our contact with a one year notice. I would like to make that notice today to have our contract terminated on 4/25/2016. Please confirm that this is correct, received and understood. Thank you.Best,[redacted] Marketing Manager [redacted] Realty

[redacted] spoke with an independent marketer. The marketer she spoke with is NOT an employee of our company, and is not contracted by our company, and has no interaction with our company. This complaint should have been filed against the company employing the marketer who spoke with [redacted]...

[redacted]. We cancelled their registration, and emailed them to let them know. [redacted] thanked us for doing so, and apologized for "the bad feedback on the Revdex.com website".

It seems [redacted] likely spoke with an independent contractor
marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful
program for homeowners, likely at his home. The marketer is no longer marketing
our program.
We, as a licensed real estate broker, enter into cooperating broker
referral agreements only with other brokers. We are in long term agreements
with more than 1,000 real estate brokerages across the United States,
comprising more than 5,000 offices, and in those offices are more than

to buy themselves, on average years before they sell their home! And they can
keep it even if they never sell their home! When the home sells in the
future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry standard referral fee.
With a home such as [redacted]'s home, [redacted] would have
received $500 from us for which he would have paid us $0 (he mentioned he had
just received his first check from us).
Our homeowner members themselves choose which of our many outstanding cooperating
brokers they would like to work with when selling their home. They may
change their selection any time at no cost, as often as they like,
until they enter into a listing agreement with their chosen broker to sell
their home.
We ALWAYS put our homeowner members, our clients, first, above
all else.
As mentioned above, we have
never asked a homeowner to pay us one penny, and no homeowner has ever
paid us one penny.
So, if [redacted] thinks it is better for him to NOT receive $500
from us, for which he would pay $0, then [redacted] indeed should not be a
member of our Smart Homeowners Program (we named the program for our members).
Pursuant to his wishes, we have cancelled [redacted]’s registration
in our program, and as a result, as [redacted] desires, we will not be paying [redacted]
$500 (for which he would have paid $0).
One request please: [redacted] has stated “I believe that this is a
scam”… can he PLEASE explain how
this could possibly be a scam, when the fact is we were paying him a total of
$500 (he says he just got his first check), and he is paying us $0?
We are that very rare occurrence of something that sounds to good to
be true, but actually is. If anyone reading this can please explain how we
could possibly be a scam, when we are paying millions of dollars to our
homeowner members, and they have paid us $0, please do so.
Thank
you.

No homeowner has ever been asked to pay us one penny. No homeowner has ever paid us one penny.   We pay our members between $300 and $10,000 to be a member (amount determined by the value of the member home when they join our program).   [redacted] or her ex-husband likely spoke with an independent contractor marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful program for homeowners. The marketer is no longer marketing our program.   We give our members cash benefits to spend on whatever they want to buy themselves, on average years before they sell their home. And they can keep it even if they never sell their home. When the home sells in the future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry standard referral fee.    We ALWAYS put our homeowner members, our clients, first, above all else. We pay our members between $300 and $10,000 each. No homeowner has ever been asked to pay us one penny, and no homeowner has ever paid us one penny. It is impossible that we could be a scam, as [redacted] unfairly and inappropriately suggested. If [redacted] could please explain how we could possibly be a scam, it would be very helpful to know how that could be possible, as we cannot determine how this could ever be possible.   Also, contrary to [redacted]s statements, our member services personnel attempted to call her and email her several times.   Pursuant to [redacted] wishes, we have cancelled her and her ex-husband’s registration in our wonderful program for homeowners, and as a result, as [redacted] desires, we will not be paying her between $300 and $10,000 (for which she would have paid $0).   Thank you.

The marketer Mr. [redacted] spoke with is not our employee. He works for an independent contractor marketer. We have forwarded Mr. [redacted]'s complaint to that contractor. Homeowners pay $0 to join our program, $0 to be in our program, and $0 if they never sell their home or sell it some day in the...

future using any broker in our program they choose. Our program is beneficial for homeowners, and any suggestion to the contrary is illogical. Any suggestion that the program is a scam is absurd.Mr. [redacted] contacted us on December 18th, and we immediately cancelled his registration, and informed him that we had done so, with no costs, obligations or penalties whatsoever. So, the desired settlement Mr. [redacted] requested was already provided to him on December 18, 2014, which he already knows as a result of his communication with us on December 18th.
