On my June statement, I was charged $on my credit card and I have no idea why I contacted the company twice through an email link on their website asking for an explanation and I have not received one Then I contacted Sean Paxton whom I believe to be the CEO of EoS Fitness for an explanation and I have not heard from him either

EOS advertises no contract memberships The generally accepted definition of these is no fee to cancel When I called to cancel my membership, I was told I had to give days notice (another monthly fee) and a $cancellation fee This is shady business practice and advertising

First, when I initialed signed up before the gym actually opened in December of I signed up twice by accidentI signed up for myself (single plan and paid a $start up fee) and my mother also signed us up on a family plan (herself and me and paid two $start up fees)When I notified them a couple days later of the mistake they cancelled my single membership and kept the family plan and notified me they would refund the $start up feeA month went by and I was still not credit back one of the $start up fees, the manager at the time said he submitted the credit to his area manager and I should be receiving it soonAnother month went by (months now) and I still hadn't received the credit and the same manager said it was sitting on his bosses desk to be approved for the creditAfter months went by I still had not and never did I receive the credit back for the $start up fee

I joined EOS fitness in 2015, I then tried to cancel because I brought a home in Sun City whereas I am required to pay for use of the recreational centersI called to cancel the account and was told that I had to give them days notice I waited the days as required which should have ended on October 31, and they still removed money from my accountThey continued to charge my account until I replaced my credit card due to it being lost EOS was not able to retrieve further money from the account They continued to "run up" the account for several more months before they reported this to the credit bureau and it is negatively impacted my creditI tried to call the information to Swift FNDS and have been unable to speak with anyone as the number is not functioning Then I thought maybe I can report this and get some type of response I just want them to take responsibility for not honoring their word and stop charging my account after October My dates may be a tad

In I signed up for then *** *** personal training with the personal training managerI believe 12/sessionsHe promised that the SESSIØNS did not expire and that he would fit me with a trainer personally who fit my needsMy first session I sat there for an hour and the trainer did not showNext a new trainer was tried out and was a good for but he was late and I decided to search one last timeThe last trainer I had was absolutely terribleI told him weight was too heavy and he pressured me into lifting it above my head and in the process my shoulder was injuredHe offered me "upper pills" at the end of it all and I immediately compiledThe same manager who sold me the PT sessions asked for a written email explaining my experience and ultimately fired the trainer as a result of my sessionI was injured to the point of a year of on and off physical therapy and inability to exersise properlyI still paid my gym , now EOS, dues every month and associated childcare costs

I was pressured into signing a contract with EOS fitness after my free fitness evaluation and now find myself being sent to collections for personal training I never usedSoon after signing up I had a death in the family and had to deal with that and then lost a job due to an unexpected business closureI never once used the EOS personal training and find it unfair that I am being harassed by collectors saying they "filed a claim against me." I understand they are just doing their job but they are unwilling to work with me in any capacity

I signed up for a complimentary month of the UP membership in October Prior to the end of that month, I told the salesperson (Justin L***) who had signed me up that I wanted to cancel my membership with this premium serviceHe told me that he'd take care of itBeginning in November, I was charged for the UP membershipI called the gym, and the front desk told me that Justin would be the one who would have to take care of it, and that he would call me backI did not receive a call back for over a week, and called againI received the same response several times over the next month and a halfAt that point, I began contesting the charges on my credit card, and attempted to cancel my basic membership to the gymThe website will not let me cancel, and the salesforce has told me that they are unable to cancel my membership

I am trying to cancel both my wife’s and my membership to EOS FitnessFirst you can’t cancel your membership in person at the gym you now need to contact a third party companyI called the third party and after waiting minutes for someone to answer, I was told that I can cancel my membership but not my wife’s membership because I am not on her membershipThe rep on the phone tells me that to cancel my membership it is going to cost the monthly membership fee ($9.95), plus $dollars for early cancellation, and $dollar administration feeThe total cost to cancel is $dollarsI don’t have a problem with the $but, $plus $to cancel the membership is crazyThe administration fee has been charged alreadyThey charge that at the beginning of each yearNow they want an additional $to cancel the membership

I received a call today from Swift collection agency saying I did pay an amount owed to EOS of I've been going to the gym ever since I paid that same amount In NovIve called place of business as soon as I talked to Swift collection agency and they couldn't help me and said they couldn't give m managers nameor give me a direct phone number
