Hello,The gym did let us know that you spoke with someone there this past weekWe feel that offering a three month freeze of your membership dues is a fair resolutionPlease confirm and we will apply the free on three months of dues.Sincerely,EOS Fitness
I checked my Credit report and saw that there was a collection from swift finds services llc I googled the company to see what company is swift funds then did a little bit more digging on what is swift funds and found out it was for eos fitness in Palm springs and have no knowledge of having a membership with them I have never had a gym membership in my life
0. Signed up for EOS Fitness in Las Vegas in Dec. '17. I live out of state and was told I was able to lower my plan after first 30 days. After 30 days, I attempted to lower my plan with a rep. I noticed 2 months later, they were still billing me higher rate. So, when in Vegas again, I went down to the gym and made a second attempt, this time with the location manager. Once again, I noticed they were still billing me the higher rate. Now upset, I called the same manager and asked to cancel. He explained that it was all taken care of.
Flip ahead, 7 months later, EOS IS HARRASSING ME WITH CALLS 10 TIMES A DAY! I attempted to get removed but its automated. To top it off, they just sent me an email, claiming I am 3 months behind on payment! Are you kidding me? I called the location again claiming they need to cancel me and remove any outstanding payment. They claim I never cancelled in their system. I told them what they were doing was illegal. Their customer service rep tells me they have million dollar lawyers!
I suppose a business that conducts itself this way, needs million dollar lawyers!
My account number: 8697-05664.
I signed up at the EOS fitness in Las Vegas Durango location. I informed the fitness manager that signed me up that I would only be signing up for one month ONLY so he said that wouldn’t be a problem and that I would just need to come back in and cancel before the next payment. So with that being said I made sure I did go back in and cancel so I wouldn’t be charged an additional $150 but apparently the fitness trainer didn’t cancel my training contract and I was billed again. I called and spoke to the fitness training manager Mark numberous times as he was the one that signed me up and was well aware that I was only doing one month. I got no where with him. He gave me the run around and interrogated me as if I “forgot” to cancel and as if it were my fault! The ball was dropped on their end and now I am out an additional $150 because the company failed on their end. He promised to call back several times and never did and at one point he said he had my number incorrect. Isn’t this information on file with the club? He never tried to resolve the issue and brushed it off. I only used 1 session and also told the trainer that I was doing a 1 month only. We stood at the computer and discussed the 1 month plan but no one canceled my contract! I’m going to look into a legal consult for this if it doesn’t get resolved.
My husband and I are absolutely disappointed in the level of care this gym has showed us. My husband was with a trainer and his contract ended 3 payments ago. They have continuously charged us for training sessions. I was billed 2 more times and up until last week they were still working on a refund. The trainer has since left the Sahara location as of last week. I go see my account today and GUESS WHAT another transaction. My husband immediately got on the phone and nobody wants to deal with it. They keep pushing us off to a supervisor, then manager, etc... I am so ready to cancel my membership and my husbands at this point. - Sahara and Cimarron location.
Angelica and Michael Schwartz - Member for almost 3 years,
I signed up for training with Juilian at the olive location about a month ago. I’ve been a memember since the location opened and am a regular. I didn’t need a trainer, but Juilian is very knowledgeable and I wanted to learn from him.
So we were meeting once a week and everything was fine. But, unfortunately he quit EOS and I don’t blame him. The staff doesn’t seem to care about the members and the whole company has ridiculous policies and contracts that screws their memembers over.
I dont want to train with anyone else. The only reason I did it was to train with Juilian. I shouldn’t be forced to finish out a contract with someone else that I don’t trust. I tried to cancel but was told I couldn’t. It’s ridiculous.
I’m thinking I’ll have to cancel my membership and my card. Commercial gyms don’t care about their members, they just want their money.
Zero stars.
I cancelled my membership on May 31, as I was suddenly unable to use the facilities and this was the soonest I was notified. They told me my billing cycle started May 27, that because this was not a 30 day notice I would have to pay again on June 27, then my membership would be cancelled. I told them that it wasn’t fair that I couldn’t use the facilities they were charging me for, and there should be a way in special circumstances to forgive the 30 day notice, especially since this was only shy by 3 days.
I was given the runaround from all of the assistant managers and managers, but after several emails, phone calls, and a weeks worth of attempts, I was able to reach the regional manager.
I spoke with Jarrod, the regional manager, and he was unable to help and had terrible customer service. He told me there was just nothing they could do.
This morning, I opened my email and received a receipt from EOS fitness, charging me $54.99 for, I’m not sure what. I called the number that was listed in the email, and to no surprise of mine, the line was busy. I sent them an email requesting information on this charge, have yet to hear back.
Overall this company is run by a bunch of crooks who just want people’s money. They don’t care about individuals, they are liars and have terrible business ethics.
I joined EOS inAvondale on their Silver Sneakers Plan and contracted for Personal Training. After 4 months of training I started experiencing severe lower back pain. I have RA and Scoliosis, which my trainer was aware. After the pain got so severe, I sought medical attention. After X-rays, and a MRI, my doctor said I should not be working out at this time. I presented the letter to the Fitness Manager, Ric. He told me that he didn't like the wording in the letter my doctor had provided (Really!), He told me he needed a another letter from my doctor. He was rude and condescending. I escalated my issue to the Manager, Ric. He said they had refunded my payment The credit never came through. I was charged two months of personal training after I presented my letter from my doctor I was charged the last two months of my personal training. I am in constant pain.. I wear a back brace. I'm going through physical rehab at the present time and then will go to a Pain Management Center. After that, maybe back surgery. I can't believe after I had presented a letter from my doctor plainly saying I should not be working out with a trainer at this time, they refused to let me out of the last two months of my training. I would never recommend this gym to anyone. Their business ethics is as bad as any I've seen. Cheryl Krone
On May 2nd, my doctor gave me a letter stating she did not want me working out at that time. Prior to that, even though I had made my trainer aware of a lower back problem I was experiencing, he continued to instruct me on exercises that were harmful to my lower back. I am a 68 year old woman with RA (which he was aware). Because of his ongoing instructions to perform certain exercises, I have done permanent damage to my back. I am currently in rehab have to wear a back brace on a daily basis; and will then go to a pain management clinic to learn how to live with a back that's in constant pain. Although I brought my doctor's letter into the gym, and talked to the fitness manager, Ric, I was not allowed to cancel my scheduled work-outs for the next two months remaining on my contract. I escalated my issue to the GM, Joey. He assured me that I would be credited. The credit never came through. Bottom line, I was charged for two months AFTER I presented the notice from my doctor to not continue with this training. I feel that Ric treated me very rudely and poo-pooed my pain and back issues and was very condescending. Cheryl Krone
