LLC sold us a Extended Repair Coverage contract and Endurance Dealer Services, LLC is the Administrator/Obligor who is responsible for approving or denying mechanical breakdown claims. They denied us for a water pump, even after the mechanic repeatedly informed them that the water pump was covered in the contract and the seals/gaskets are components needed for the water pump. They denied it and now are denying "Engine Failure". Both parts Water Pump and Engine is listed in the contract as being covered but, of course, Endurance tends to be finding "loop-holes" in the "not covered" portion of the contract. Please HELP!!!
On 11/5/19,the consumer drove the vehicle in a repair facility with a mileage of 101,753. Per the consumer's repair facility, the water pump was leaking from the weep hole, indicative of a seal failure. While the consumer's contract does cover mechanical failure of the water pump, seals and gaskets are not eligible as causes of failure. As the cause of failure was a seal, the claim could not be paid by Endurance.
Subsequent to this, the consumer did not repair the water pump and instead drove the vehicle with a known failure for another 7000 miles and 3 months, overheating the vehicle to the point where the entire engine needed to be replaced. Please note, the consumer's contract does not cover failures caused by the consumer's continued and deliberate operation with a known failure, and the consumer's failure to protect the vehicle from further damage.
On March 5, the consumer contacted the selling agent ***, and requested cancellation of his contract. The contract was cancelled and the consumer's refund was sent for processing. The refund is scheduled to be mailed out on 3/19/20.
Per Endurance's previous response, the failure to the water pump was a seal failure. The seal is not listed for coverage. Endurance understand that the seal is necessary for the water pump to function, but the seal is not eligible for coverage. In addition, Endurance did not advise the consumer to drive an additional 3 months and 7000 miles with a failed water pump. The consumer chose not to perform the repair and chose to continue operating the vehicle with a known failure, causing progressive damage by his actions. At this time, the consumer has cancelled his contract and the pro-rata refund has been sent out.

I am rejecting this response because: I still hold Endurance responsible for not 1st fixing the water pump (seal/gaskets being a part of the water pump for functioning purposes) which is, as they stated: the part (water pump) that was covered but not fixed. Again, as Endurance stated: The water pump does not function without the seals/gaskets and 2nd, the "engine failure" is due to the fact that Endurance did not fix the 1st covered part, now causing Engine failure (another part covered under contract) but also not fixed by Endurance. Everyone does NOT have 2, 3 or even 4 vehicles and NEED to drive to work. I still hold Endurance responsible because they did, actually, refund a "prorated" amount ($751.38) but NOT the amount of which we were charged and paid into the contract, just to be rejected for any and everything we attempted to have repaired by "Endurance and/or ***", which is "supposedly" covered in the contract. Our contract amount was: $2993.00, of which we paid each and every month, on time. We would like to recover everything we paid out to ***/Endurance's contract, of $2993.00 because it is only fair and appropriate being that they WOULD NOT cover the coverage stated in the contract. NO I REJECT their resolution.
Sincerely
DON'T, DON'T PLEASE DON'T buy an auto extended warranty for these thieves. This company is straight up stealing from hard working people. The will lie to you about coverage and offer packages they honor when you need repairs because they will decline coverage. I rate this company a negative zero.
DON'T DON'T PLEASE DON'T BUY
This company is stealing from many customers including myself. Yes they have great customer service and great prices only because thieves are great at smiling in your face and at the same time convincing you to let them steal your hard earn money. They offer these package deal like (Diamond) knowing your claims will be decline, decline and decline again. They refuse to let you cancel your policy by giving you free months and a gift card because when they stealing the company never losing money anyway. I'm just one of many I bet, that this company steals from. I'm very disappointed and happy I realize this sooner than later. This company will be on *** on day.

Just had a couple of question on some work that needs done on my car. Answered all my question so far so good
Excellent customer service experience.
Brittany was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous.
Resolved my concerns quickly and efficiently.
Out of good faith and trust, I purchased an extended auto warranty from Endurance.I purchased the Secure Plus Coverage that reads ENGINE-Gas/Diesel:cylinder block, cylinder head(s), rotary housing and ALL INTERNALLY LUBRICATED PARTS CONTAINED WITHIN THE ENGINE, INCLUDING: pistons, piston rings, connecting rod bearings, etc...The list goes on and on. Basically it is almost a Google cut and paste if you search "internally lubricated parts". My car is currently in the shop with a bad Oil Separator. I spoke with Len at Endurance and he informed me that because the Oil Separator is not specifically mentioned, it is not covered. The Dealership Mechanic explained to me, the Oil Separator is in fact an internally lubricated part within the engine as it clearly reads on page 6, section B 1 of the policy. Item 3(Transmission)of the policy reads: Transmission case and ALL INTERNALLY LUBRICATED PARTS, PLUS...then it goes on to mention additional items of the transmission. One definition of the word "including" is: "to contain as a subordinate element; involve as a factor". One definition of the word "Plus" is: "With the addition of". I'm sure Endurance is a well respected company since its founding in 2006 however the wording is very misleading to the customer. The following are a few things mentioned on the Endurance website "At Endurance Warranty Services, we put the needs of our customers first. Ensuring that you get an honest, upfront, hassle-free product is our highest priority" also "Get back to life knowing we have your back".The company's motto is “empowering confidence for the road ahead,” a principle which encompasses the value of never leaving anyone behind, not a fellow employee or customer, whether a current or future one. Endurance, are the words mentioned from your website true or are they customer bait? Endurance, can you please explain to me and the other readers, exactly what is meant by "ALL INTERNALLY LUBRICATED PARTS CONTAINED WITHIN THE ENGINE, INCLUDING"?
Please be advised, the oil separator is neither contained within the engine nor does it receive lubrication. The oil separator in this vehicle sits under the valve cover. To be a covered part under the ENGINE section of the consumer's contract, a part must be either: 1. Lubricated AND internal to the engine
OR
2. Specifically listed by name
As the oil separator is neither lubricated nor internal to the engine, and is also not listed by name, it is not an eligible component under the consumer's contract.
At this time, the consumer's contract is active and eligible for future claims.
I think, no I KNOW I made the right decision when I chose ENDURANCE for coverage on my 2007 Tundra. It was a blessing to hear that the TUNDRA was covered 100% for nearly $2000.00 of work.
She was very helpful and informative regarding what we needed! Thank you!
I've dealt with 3 different people so far and all experiences were great. Sharon, Sam and Kelsey were all very pleasant, helpful and seemed eager to assist.
Loved Jeff, he was very personable. Got the confusion cleared up quickly. Thanks for having good people work for you. I left carshield cause they're rude and I believe thieves
Just received a letter from them addressed to my Mother who has been dead 16 years come May. Called them and they claim that she owns a vehicle at my address. Don't know where they get their info, but if they cannot get that info correct would not expect much from them.
Great customer service and very helpful with any questions I had.
Customer service is great. Have had one disagreement on the warranty service.
Tabitha was a great help to me. She answered all my questions and provided even more information that I'm sure will be of great value in the future. Thanks Tabitha
Another terrible warranty company. They are just as bad as infinite warranty company. They look for any reason not to pay your claim. Absolutely terrible. Do not use.
Worst company ever. Bait and switch company. They want your money but don’t want to cover your repairs. They pick and choose what they want to fix and pull some off the wall idea as to why they don’t want to cover the repair. Terrible customer service. They hang up on you and treat you like a piece of trash. I don’t even understand how this company is still on business.
Stop sending me direct mail making me think my policy is running out when I never signed up for your service. This is deceptive advertising.
You guys are the best out there! Darion ***! Awesome ??
I wish I would’ve known about them when I first got my other car they are awesome
The associate was very helpful and professional. My questions were answered and I was very happy with this call.
