I will wait to here from you, I just hope that you can understand that, There is(NO) site damage from a vacuum, or from a cat that doesn't even live inside the house.All I want is to be treated fairly instead of getting excuse after excuse about something that isn't my fault.I am willing to take my bad reviews down and put a good review up if I am treated fairly.I just want the carpet that I originally ordered, and for it to be installed properly.All I want if is for the right thing to be doneSo Please do the right thing!!!!! Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Empire has been nothing but resistive to any resolution, and when we supplied and signed a rediculous "no harm agreement, promising not to say anything derogatory or of a defamatory nature PRIOR to completion of any repair, before the required date, they informed us that they did not get it, that I missed the deadline date,and that I needed to resend it In addition, because they could not locate the faxed "gag" agreement, they told me they would not be able to complete the repair as scheduled I have the fax report showing the date and time it was sent Empire also emphasized that they are absorbing a fee of approx that they originally expected me to pay for repair of the carpet that would not have occurred if they had installed it correctly in the first place I have informed Empire, that with all considered and they way they have behaved throughout this event, that I have terminated any further discussion, and that I would have the re stretch completed by another firm That was completed on the 29th of November for $175.00, far from what Empire was going to charge We will not recommend nor refer Empire for anything in future and consider their business practices and customer care to be absolutely abysmalThey were also informed that my "hold harmless agreement" and my signature on that form to be null and void since they did not fulfill their part of the agreement Sincerely, Michael [redacted]
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me, but I will close the case On the day of installation, here is what I sent to Megan, the area manager I spoke to Alexis on Tuesday this week She told me that if I called her at 7:this morning, which is when she got to work, that she would make sure to get a crew out the door and coming to us first thing this morning I informed her that we were ONCE AGAIN having to pay a mover to move the fish tank I called Alexis at 7:this morning She did not answer, and she did not return my call I also did not receive a call yesterday (the day prior to install) as you said I would I finally received a call at 8:this morning informing me that "the installers are on their way, and will be there shortly" The max time was said to be 1-hours It is now hours and minutes after that initial phone call The installers just called and said they would be here in an hour When my husband asked them where they were currently located, they said "Grand Prairie" We informed them that is only minutes from our house, but they still said they couldn't be here any sooner than an hour So, now we are looking at 12:arrival time Meanwhile I have movers on standby which is costing me $ This is completely unacceptable I can't help but think that this delay is just a malicious act on the part of Empire today I truly believe that there was no intention to have the installers show up during the requested time frame This is unacceptable.Post install note: The crew finally finished the install at 7:pm Meaning, I had to pay movers on standby the whole time The installers were here for hours In that time they managed to cut our surround sound speaker wires multiple times Luckily my husband caught them trying to tape it up and required they go to [redacted] to replace the wires I will continue to take any opportunity to encourage anyone I can NOT to use Empire Sincerely, Laura ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The original "offer" to fix the floor was for just over one thousand dollars Empire Today's "discounted" price was just over nine hundred dollars A grand savings of a discount of just over one hundred dollars for a floor that did not live up to its promise by its sales people Also, NOWHERE in the contract does it state damage done by wear and tear See you in court! On 5/27/Sale representative Jamar [redacted] promised my wife and I that the screwing down and tightening of the sub-floors was included within the quote for the carpet install during the sale consultationMy wife and I even told the installers that this was included, but I doubt if they understood what we were telling them because they didn't speak English, so it was hard to communicate with them from the start So once they finished the install on 6/4/2016, I noticed that they hadn't screwed or nailed down the loose sub-floorsFirst I contacted Empire's installation department to explain this problem and was told that the person I needed to talked to was gone for today and she would have her return my called tomorrow 6/14/After I didn't receive a call back I contacted the customer service department on 6/15/and spoken to Danielle and was informed that this was not included in the quotecontract for the install and that they can do it for an additional priceBasically the sale representative Jamar [redacted] was not being honest with my wife and I and lied to us by stating that the sub-floor work was included in order to get our businessBasically all I want Empire to do is come do the work that I paid them for that should have been included within the install priceI feel that Empire didn't abide by our installation agreement event though it was verballyBasically I spent $4,for an incomplete job that left my sub-floors still screeching and making noise that the sale representative saw and experience during the sale consultationIt's really sad because I was planning to have Empire do the laminate installation for my basement for $9,in about two months, but this bad experience has shown me that they are not to be trusted and I can't believe any of their sales promisesAlso, they didn't install any molding transition in one of the bedrooms where the different types of carpet join together
