Mrs [redacted] received a promotional offer from an outside company that collects the fees and facilitates all the travelI was trying to help her with her cruise but she wants a free cruise which no one ever promisedWe do not have free cruises, she would be responsible for all fees, deposits, and taxesWe will be more than happy to give her the $which we do not have to try to make a bad situation right, even though once again we did not receive itShe can call and talk to any of our agents and they will be more than happy to give her a quote on her cruise, but it will not be free
We would be happy to refund Mrs [redacted] 's $even though we did not collect her funds, that was done thru The Travel CenterThe Travel Center is not owned or operated by us and the only contact we have is to purchase certificates from them which they fulfill all the travel associated with themIf she would call us to set up the payment, we will send a cashiers check to her at the address of her choice
Back in May I mentioned that if she had not received the check to please let us know, now in November she finally respondsThis is almost months later, I will check with accounting and make sure a replacement check goes out and have them investigate the result of the first checkThis process may take up to 7-daysI will download a copy of the check and download as soon as it is cut and ready to to be mailed
I adamantly deny that the postcard I received inviting me to the seminar stated anything about $fee...conveniently, the postcard was required to be presented at the seminar so is therefore, not in my possession I do, however, have the emails advising me of my award confirmation--with no mention of the fee-- and my follow up email to Destination Depot regarding what I perceive as the sham they partnered with Extreme Travels For Destination Depot to now take the position that they disssociate themselves with Extreme Travels is ludicrous,,,,how else were they delivering the promised vouchers?!!!! How do I forward the emails I have on record?
The response from the business speaks to attaching a postcard and other materials but I can't see where to access the attachments Furthermore, I'd be happy to forward the email from Destination Depot and my reply email after the presentation but as requested in my previous response, I need to know how to do this This format of proceeding through the complaint process doesn't appear to allow for attaching emails? Not sure so need guidance as previously requested When I click Browse, I don't get to my email and that's where I need to be to attach them
As of 12/23/there has been no refund of $3,I called Capital One again and was told by [redacted] NO refund was issuedShe made a comment about the calls I'm making and told me as soon as a refund is received I will be sent an e-mailI have an idea maybe Mr [redacted] should do the same make some phone calls or e mails to confirm that a refund was issuedI asked him to attach proof with a date and I will call Capital One Regards,
We have been working to get rid of her timeshare, and even have agreed to pay her maintenance on it as well to help allow more time to get it sold through an outside sourceLast time we spoke to her was on April by text from our office managers cell phoneThis is her preferred mode of communicationWe are working with her to get her happy
You already had my name and address But I prefer you send the refund to the Tualatin Police Department in Oregon as a donation to the nearest animal shelterThe officer you complained to will let me know he received the donationI have already sent him a copy of these responses Your right it has gone to far Have a nice day ***
Mrs [redacted] has tried to book one trip with her program which we have tried to accommodate her on she wanted to book a trip to Las Vegas for spring break was not happy with the costWe tried to explain to her the price is high due to Spring Break and that normally it would not be a problem ( even though we did save her money on the trip, just not what she wanted to pay )We also searched for a condo for Fathers Day weekend to Hilton Head or Myrtle BeachSince it was the Holiday the prices where higher and availability was lowerWe found some inventory but she chose not to book itOnce again we will not refund any monies to her number she used the program and number we did what we said we would do
RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11109872, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute. Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I have all the paper work so will go from there.
We have responded to his complaint, however this seems to be going further than it needs toEven though we feel that we should not be held responsible after the complaints from the promotional provider and his emails ( which I only supplied you with a few and not all of them ) we will sent Mr [redacted] a check for the $There is a difference of freedom of speech and the potential for bodily harm, which even in the emails I supplied it eluded toThe pictures alone that he sent are evidence of mental health issuesHe needs to call us for his address and legal name so we can cut him a check for the $
We did receive Mrs***s cancellation notice, and acknowledged itThe process for all refunds is business day from the date that we receive the cancellation notice in writing along with all here membership materialsWe received her cancellation notice and materials on the 6/17/
It was mailed on the 9th of JuneI did speak to Mrs *** on the 9th and told her we have not received her letter yet and the process would not start until we did When we did recieve it we started refund processI did speak with Mrs*** on 6/29/15, I tried to explain the process and all she kept saying was that the state law is days which is true, I could not give her a specific date when the refund would take place, but it was in the worksbusiness days from the date that we received the cancellation notice would be the 3rd of JulyI called Mrs*** and informed her that the refund was being processed that it could take or days for her bank credit her card, asked her if she would be willing to retract her complaint knowing this information, she said NOI have included a copy of her contract showing the refund policyWe feel that Mrs*** jumped the Gun before her refund was actually due, which makes this complaint unjustifiedShe will have her refund in the allotted amount of time ( her bank could take longer )
waited days after I received Mr *** response for a refund of $3,that Destination Depot stole from *** and IJust checked and called Capitol One and no refundTo issue a credit to a charge card doesn't take daysMr *** is running out of timeIf need be I will take Mr *** (Director of Member Services) who represents Destination Depot, and the person *** and I talked to through the whole ordeal to small claims courtThe max is $10,which will be close to what I plan to sue Destination Depot forThe $3,plus ALL my expence fight from NY to TX , room, car and mealsTo make it perfectly clear I have no plans to drop this issueWe'll let the judge make a desision if need be
Once again, I have spoken with our Merchant account and as I have mentioned the problem is not on our end it is on his bank
The business has not produced the postcard that I was required to hand in at the seminar; to do so would clear up the whole matter of what exactly was contained in said disclaimer. For such a large company that claims to be very careful/specific, this record should have been retained and therefore, able to be produced. *** (***'s assistant) never mentioned fees at all when setting up my appointment; if he had (and if fees were noted on the postcard), I would assuredly have gotten further information which would have provided an opportunity for me to make an informed decision about whether or not to attend the seminar. Perhaps staff are instructed to make these disclaimers but obviously, they may not always do so...which was the case with me. Perhaps calls were monitored? That also would provide factual/objective evidence. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing staff get some sort of commissions on attendance or buying into the vacation package so it is in their best/better interest to avoid disclosure of info that might turn attendees away..again, this is just a supposition on my part to explain the lack of forthrightness.3. I do not appreciate the insinuation that I fabricated Shawn's response to me at the seminar when I asked about the 'airline' aspect. It didn't appear to even be a critical issue, just something I questioned out of curiousity. Again, the business does not know -- but I do-- what was said at the seminar. I was there4. The point made on two occasions about what a deal it is (fly for $69/pp and 3/nights) is irrelevant. The point is that there was not advance/adequate notice of the cost of the gift (how's that for an oxymoron), only fully and clearly stated after the presentation...neither *** or *** ever mentioned any fees before or during the presentation. The only thing that *** spoke of on several occasions was how we were all 'bribable', meaning that we were bribed with a gift in order to attend the seminar. Furthermore, on more than one occasion, *** spoke of the cost to Destination Depot to give us our vouchers, which obviously was not the case if we ultimately had to pay the 3rd party in order to receive the gift.5. I previously provided a copy of the award confirmation email, which does not mention anything about applicable fees, etc. For a company that is so careful to provide full disclosure, why isn't that included in the confirmation email? Again, if such a statement had been included, it would have given me an opportunity to gain more info before attending the seminar. At this point, I am not sure what role the Revdex.com can take in this matter...is there a mediation role or simply a conduit for business and 'complaintee' to communicate?
Mrs*** did call me on 9/30/I tried to explain that the gift was not done thru us it is indeed a separate companyShe refused to listen to me when I tried to tell her that it did need to be registered and that they have their requirements to use the promotional offerNot once did she
mention that she wanted us to pay the $After hanging up with her I thought about it and I called her back and left a message offering to pay itAsked her to call back and give us her correct mailing address and we would send her out a cashiers check in her name for the $So if she would contact us we will be more than happy to assist her in that

Comments: 6/20/complaint ID Please be advised that Destination Depot, business ID has not followed through on their proposed solution which was conditionally agreed to by us (provided they deliver per proposal;)We have attempted to contact them, but they are contact proof as you must be a member of their network of clients or customers to send them and e-mailTheir telephone system prevents us from contacting them as it rings and rings and then disconnectsI also tried sending an e-mail to their 3rd party provider (Travel Center/Southwest Travel Agency) and asked them to forward the e-mail to Destination DepotTheir behavior and our treatment by them leaves us very very glad that we choose not to become members of such an organizationI would hope that your office of the Revdex.com posts this message/review to that others are warned of their operation!
If it is easier for her she can email me directly at [email protected] she can call me at ###-###-####
