This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I am a business professor at U of M We both have PhDs and near perfect credit My wife and I were looking to save money while we paid down some late in life student loans they are obscenely highso we wanted a low cost rental in a safe neighborhood near the university that took dogs We had no idea of the nightmare we would face with this company Firstthe Friday before we moved in we noticed a bunch of things wrong with the house We made a list and asked them to fix them before we moved in This list included in part large patches of mold found in every room of the house, no functioning AC, a badly warped hard floor, a non functioning dishwasher, and a two inch tall gap between the bottom of the back door and the floor that allows anything to wander in They promised to fix it all the next business day and were very nice so we signed the lease We had movers coming on Monday which already had thousands in a down payment to move us They lied, the only things they fixed or replaced was the dishwasher and the warped floor They made an attempt to fix the two inches under the door, but their fix lasted less than a day, so I have stacked boards in the gap with weather striping that kind of works They did nothing about the mold all over the house (patches a foot long in the kitchen cupboards) My daughter is badly allergic to mold and broke into a rash over her entire body the first minutes in the house, so we had to move into hotels for two weeks while we waited for them to fix the moldEventually they painted and caulked over the mold patches They refused to reimburse us for the nights in the hotel and we had to buy a several hundred dollar hepa filter which took several weeks to get the mold out of the air Secondly, as soon as we started living in the house, we discovered none of the electrical sockets worked, no one screwed down the new toilet in the back bathroom to the floor, the ACs ducts were all crushed under the house or not working, the gas company refused to turn on our gas because the water heater had insufficient ventilation, to mention the big issues, They did come and fix many electrical sockets, but not all, they fixed the ducts mostly, but that took days during a degree heat of summer, and the ventilation for the water heater was fixed after days, but we put a COsensor next to it that cost us $to be safe A year later and after many many complaints to Crestcore the toilet has never been screwed to the floor It is being held in place by the sewer and water pipes alone It wobbles all over the place if you try to sit on it The replacement dishwasher lasted about months before it busted a minor part, that keeps it from working Crestcore refused to fix it and we hand wash all our dishes now, We did not want to rent a house without a dishwasher Next, the thermostat for the AC is really old and sometimes refuses to work We have ti turn it off and on the get it to start working We have lost our AC completely now for the third time during heat since we moved here months ago The AC condenser is a 1970s model and is very huge an very inefficientAll the windows in the house are sealed shut, and have only a few screens so the lack of AC is dangerous Each time it breaks they take to days to fix it using Jerry rigged parts Moreover, the house seems to have zero insulation in about half of the house, so our utility bills in this square foot house are more in the summer than they are in our square foot house we moved out ofLastly, one of the two showers has a broken faucet that turns in a circle forever You have to position it in the perfect spot for it not to constantly poor water But it does have a never ending slow drip Crestcore wont fix it they wont fix anything and have no problem putting your life at risk so they can squeeze every penny out of you Never sign a lease with them, all their houses are as is and a total night mare
Repairs are not done, which have been reported last year and rudeness of office personnel

Me and my husband gave*** $each for an application fee for a house at ***We were told that the qualifications were no open bankruptcies no evictions from the past three years and three times the incomeAfter reviewing my application she stated that I was $shy of making the income so we needed to add my husbandAfter receiving his information and his initial application fee she became very hard to find she wouldn't return any of our phone calls and when she would return the phone calls they would be via textI've tried contacting her for over a month about getting a refund for my application fee since she didn't do anything for us, she texted back and said that it was non-refundableSo we checked our credits to see if our credit had been reviewed and she hadn't even ran our credit to see if we even qualified for the house itself so at this point I'm taking that she actually took our money and
Chargedd the full month of July rent when lease terminate on July 12thPaid partial rent to move in should be partial to move out
Why am I being charged the full month of July when my lease ends on July 12th I gave my day noticeScheduled my end of lease walk thru for the 11th even though we will be out by the 7th completely & clean on the 8th Even though I asked times about a walk thru before I moved in I got the video of the beginning of lease walk thru & the emails I sent about everything that was wrong Will be contacting the gentleman about turning in my key & moving up the end of lease walk thru I still don't understand the logic behind charging full month when I will not be here & I paid the prorated rent when I moved inNot full months rent

I feel in love with a house from CrestcoreAfter calling and confirming with two operators and their website that it was 3x, I applied for the house only to be told next day we were denied it because the owner wanted 4x the rentIf we had known this we would have never wasted $on the application fee that is not refundableI worked with Debbie and really tried to find a house with CrestcoreHowever, due to issues such as houses having rat feces, one didn't even have a refrigerator hook up or poorly taken care of, we had to say noWhenever the fact that we were given wrong information was mentioned , we wouldn't get an answer back but would get an answer if interested in a houseA family member then called to confirm the 3x times the rent and were told it was 3xAlso that the application fee is $not $When the operator was asked their name, they hung up without answering
CrestCore will not come to my home and fix the problems I am having in my home
I have been begging CrestCore for a few months to come out and fix the holes in my wall due to the squirrels trying to get in my home and to come sprayfor these nets coming from my sink and they still haven't did anything to solve the problem..The nets have gone out of controls, nets are everywhere in my house flying around they have been telling me that they would come out and fix the problems but still haven'tALSO to come fix my storm door and fix the problem with my electric, it is constantly going in and out and right now it's out in two roomsIt's been months since I've had these issues in my home and I am sick of it

Crestcore refuses to fix my the stove I've been complaining about over a year and they refuse to get rid of the gnats
I have been trying to get crestcore help for about a year they never respond, my stove is out ( burner) it caught on fire twice, and those gnats is coming from the sewage pipe and they are taking over my house and they gets all over my food, I have been paying them faithfullyI just want the job done!

As a property owner, I was given what seemed to be a high quote for the replacement of a water heaterI obtained a quote for hundreds less from a trusted companyI advised Crestcore that I would be handling the arrangements for repair myself and DID NOT give authority for them to carry out the repairsThe work was done and I paid the companyCrestcore then told me that they did the work and took the money out of my rent accountThis caused my mortgage payment to bounceThis was last July and we are still arguing about it and I am trying to get my money backI had been emailing back and forth with Josh, who said he would sort it outHe suddenly stopped communicating at allI am beyond frustrated with this company and will soon file a complaint

On August 3,my rent was paid electronically when they received it they sent a payment receipt,t then August7,they sent a email saying payment return however nothing was return and they put a 139.00$ return fee on my balanceAugust8,sent another 695.00$ through it stated e payment settled I called crestcore and it's foreign people picking up the phone you can't go in the office to talk to anyone you have to talk on the phone they charging you s extra 5$ if you put your rent in the drop box so they want your bank info so Augustthey sent a email saying another return payment and they have been during this every since I filed a chapter back in June 22,now they are constantly saying they didn't get my rent payment but I have the receipts for both transactions that they received the rent ...please assist me in this my next step is getting the local news inv
Crestcore was supposed to send an electrician at to fix our power outage where a branch fell on the wires and knocked out the power We have also called multiple times about the hazardous branches but they never came to trim them either So now we are hours later with no power, babies, in degree weather, & my husband is on a breathing machine at night bc he stops breathing I called customer service bc there isn't an emergency maintenance number& they told me it wasn't their problem& to wait until Monday during business hours to try again So for days we will be out of electricity with babies & a husband that requires a source of power at night No one cares that we pay our rent on time every month They just want the moneyThese people are CROOKS! and we reported them to the local news station also

A leak in the ceiling that was suppose to been repaired before we moved in
Move in was delayed because a leak in the ceiling had been discoveredMoved in on the 16th of Febraury the house was still not ready for move in it had no heat which I put in several requests & it wasn't repaired until a week later, water poured out the floor boards into hallway when trying to wash clothes leak under the kitchen sink & the ceiling is still leaking called & even went to office in person & they continue to lie about sending someone out or say someone being out but I'm home all day the room where the leak is has a foul odor coming from it & the ceiling is starting to leak Brown fluid and it smells it is now March and ceiling is still not repaired & they refuse to prorate rent for the inconvenience

I moved in my home about weeks agothe air wasn't working so I put in a work orderthey said that they would get to it soonit's been over a week and I have heard nothing from them after numerous messages and emails that I left them about this problemit has been plus degrees most of the time and I have a yr old son that's here with me and I donot want him getting sick from the heat

3/27/Crestcore called me with an eviction notice for 3/30/In the call they told me I owed $in Maintenance fees
The maintenance they are billing me for is for plumbing and pest control
On 3/19/2018, a plumber came to my doorWe told him we did not ask for him, but he serviced us anywayWhat he did was unknownWe had no problem with plumbing
The pest control was a summer We had an ant problemDetails about the problem: Ants made a trail through our kitchenEven when there was nothing for the ants in our kitchenIt was autumn when I received a call from the pest control Crestcore contactedI told him the problem no longer existed
This is a horrible company to deal with
Ive tried to reach out to *** the manager via e-mail and phone she'll never return my call or e-mail about my account issues I'm being harassed by calls and e-mail texts about something that should've been corrected by her she never responds
