We made every attempt to treat each of our members fairly and consistently with respect to the amount of inventory that was availableBottled water for purchase was scarce due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey with inventories depleting quickly as Irma grew into a hurricane statusTo purchase water we provided a ticket to be used to help evenly distribute inventoryWe asked that the member be present, (no absentee membership card holders), have a membership, and a two case limitRespectfully, Mr [redacted] asked for an exception to these guidelinesTo be fair, we fielded many requests for this and similar requests for an exception to these guidelines that were not honoredWe believe in good faith that we distributed our inventory equally among all of our members who waited patiently for an opportunity to purchase any available waterMr [redacted] was advised of a water filtration system for purchase available in the location and to date our city has not had any issue maintaining the City’s water supplyThankfully, the impact of Hurricane Irma was not as devastating as predicted

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] I called my bank twice the Thursday we used our debit card at CostcoThey made it very clear they as the Bank in now way has anything to do with the "Pending" of funds I called Costco also that very Thursday, and also filed this complaint here with the Revdex.com, TWO days LATER the $charge was gone and in it's place the actual amount spentHowever, ALL correct amounts spent that same day on food, RX etc, at Costco...were all now pended for the following Monday 11-07- My original complaint was in the "large OVER charge" (held for $actually spent for gas) for, as your administration staff called "safety reasons." The 24-hour hold could be VERY costly to a shopper unaware their bank account balance was NOT as it should beIf you can't understand the seriousness in damages that could be done, think of an very ill person needing medicine, and debit card being rejected because the money in their bank belonging to them is tied up in a "Pend." I do not believe holding a customers bank account hostage in such a manner is a FAIR or JUST way to conduct business

I continue to call and leave voicemails for our members with my direct line. Costco Travel is going to take care of our members and reimburse them for the beverage packages they have purchased. In order to discuss how they would like us to do so I would need to speak with them. I will continue to... call each of the phone numbers we have and leave my direct line until our member answers or calls me back.

We have been on the phone with the insurance companies trying to get this straightened out The word is yes the medication is covered but not the NDC that we carry and sold to him In their system it shows the NDC that we used as being a pre-packaged product The insurance company is trying to fix this in their system, but as of now it is not covered

Thank you for bringing this to our attention I left a message with our member on 12/and was able to reach him on 12/ The item he ordered was being delivered past the timeframe we posted on our site, and I apologized that this inconvenienced him The cancelled order was refunded in full on 12/8, and the member will be receiving $compensation for this issue ($for the food he had lost as a result of this delay) and $for the inconvenience he experienced) I am forwarding information regarding this incident to our management team, so that we can address the factors that led to this and prevent them in the future We apologize for the error, and are grateful that our member was willing to let us resolve this issue to his satisfaction

We reached out to the member yesterday and confirmed pick up was that evening 02/12/Confirmed today 02/13/that pick up was completedThe member is happy with the issue being resolved and issue is now closed

Furthermore, the Costco Member Only Price Sheet was never shown to me by Nissan of Escondido in which further disproves Costco's claim that I was granted the Costco Rebates I also was not provided with a Costco Authorization Number by the dealer so how was the program applied without that number? According to Costco's corporate protocol for the Auto Program "Costco requires dealerships to show and allow its members to view the Costco Member Price Sheet prior to a car sale or deal." Additionally, the CASH the dealer provides is the $rebate you mentioned in this trail Where are the rebates Costco is responsible for paying to the customer as outlined on your Costco Auto Program website? The members delivery is scheduled tomorrow between PM and PMWhen I spoke with the member they were requesting delivery the week of 7/due to being out of town

We have processed a full refund back to the members card of purchase and are currently working to get pick up on a day that works best with their schedule

the member is more than welcome to receive a refund at any Costco location, as long as he presents his membership card that the item was purchased under And, apologize for the inconvenience
