RE: Complaint ID #  [redacted]

Thank you for your efforts on my behalf and for the response from Cobblestone Auto Spa.

I believe that Cobblestone Auto Spa’s response that “Not knowing if the mirror was properly installed or not…” is not relevant to my claim regarding damage on the specific date of November 13, 2013. Cobblestone Auto Spa records automobile license plate numbers when entering an automobile into their wash-line so that they may track customer returns for “Rewards” points and special wash upgrades. Therefore it should be easy for Cobblestone Auto Spa to see how many times my automobile has been washed at their Bell Road location. If the prior replacement installation was sufficient to withstand 7, 10 or an unknown greater number of washes before the November 13, 2013 damage, why is that considered now? Cobblestone Auto Spa does not have a disclaimer posted that they will not assure against damage for non-OEM/dealer replacement repairs and I feel full coverage of repair expenses is only proper in this case.
Sincerely, [redacted]

The Cobblestone in Phoenix on E Bell Rd. I went there with my mon, first of all I didn't get what I paid Full service well they never vacuumed it,I don't think car wad even washed. Maybe it was but poor job. Then it was never armor alled tires should of been shined. Atttitude was real bad. They told what do you want us to rewash it. Your car is older 2000. My car is a 2000 and great shape anyway what does that have to do with washing it.,and doing it right. When car was finished as they call finished they never told me we sat there for over 1 hr 30 min. Really poor business pratice. Manager handled it very poor, bad attitude will never return.Something needs to be done.I have taken many cars I own and owned to many car washes never had an experience like this.

The video clearly shows that we did not cause the damage.  There were at least 2 car lengths between you and the 2500 Dodge truck.  If your little Miata would have hit the 2500 Dodge truck, there would have been damage to the entire hood of you Miata not the right side of the bumper and...

lower grill.  I'm sorry you feel the damage happened at Cobblestone, clearly the video shows differently.
Best regards,

Mr. [redacted],I am sorry to hear about your experience with our [redacted] location. We typically take $9.99 out of any refunds we submit because we did wash your car and that still needs to be paid for. We were not trying to be difficult, that's just what our policy is. A check was already...

sent for the remainder of the refund when you called our office a few days ago. You should be receiving it soon. Regards,[redacted]Cobblestone Auto Spa

I would not go here. After I used my debit card to pay for a carwash, I received notices that fraudulent purchases had been made. This is the last place I used my card and had someone personally swipe my card on their card machine. So I believe someone at this location used my debit card (probably a skimming card machine) and raked up very expensive purchases on my debit card. When I called management here, he even admitted this was a problem here. He seemed pretty cavalier about it and not all concerned. So my tidbit-be warned. Carry only cash. Do not use credit or debit cards to use their service.

Hi, my name is [redacted] and I'm the owner of a Red 2003 Ford Excursion and today Dec 1, 2015 I took my brand new vehicle which I've own for 2months now over to the Tempe location on baseline and kyrene. I went through and a very loud sound was hitting the side of my vehicle as I went thru the wash and it went from the front passenger bumper all the way slowly to the rear bumper and stopped. The sounds and hits were loud and hard! I felt it from inside and I wondered what was happening and from the sound I knew it was gonna be something serious! We got passed the dryers and I immediately told the worker standing at the end about what happened he didn't even reply he just looked puzzled and said "I gotta get the next guy" I was angry and upset so I parked and got out to look and seen the whole passenger side of my brand new red excursion deeply scratched and dented at each scratch had a dent in it all the way down from one side to the end. I am deeply angry and dis satisfied in what happened. We filed a report and I hope it gets taken care of. I was a commited customer and have been there many times over and over w/ my 2 vehicles and for this to happen is awful. As I said the vehicle is brand new. Please help and address my issue please. I hate to have been let down by such a good company and car wash. I have pictures and video recording as well. My contact info is [redacted] again my name is [redacted]. Plz help

The video clearly shows there was not antenna.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.- I did tell the person that was sent over to me regarding my complaint. It was the car wash manager. I also discussed my concerns with the gentleman that did my write up for the oil change. I showed him the concerns with my vehicle running rough. I also had the hood up and went over my concerns with the oil change. It was afterwards that [redacted] noticed that the line of cars waiting to receive an oil change was getting lengthy.- Fluids were Overfilled above the max line- The clamps were not closed on the air filter-The decal was placed on my windshield and the next oil change mileage/ date was not written on it.- Entered into the oil change with my vehicle running smoothly- Drove one street away after the oil change and my vehicle was shaking violently. My car was stalling out as I parked it. Stalled out at a intersection.- I felt unsafe in my car after the oil change. The manager that was the 3 rd employee that came over stated he would pay for my car repair if the mechanic could prove the repairs were caused by the oil change. The problem is the mechanic was not present nor did he do the oil change at Cobblestone Auto Spa- I had a vacation planned for 1 year. Due to this negligence during this oil change, my families vacation was pushed out.- We drove the vehicle to California and felt nervous the entire trip that something would go wrong due to the condition the vehicle was in after the routine oil change.Regards,[redacted]

We do not have a [redacted] that works for us. If you would like your $3 please go to the site and speak with a manager.Regards,[redacted]Cobblestone Auto Spa

I am very upset that the only thing you are willing to do is shampoo my carpets and seats, as said by [redacted], the store manager.  I do not understand how it is MY responsibility to make sure the windows are rolled up, when I was not even in the car while it was being run through the wash.  I think it is crazy that you think I would be satisfied with that.  I purchased the car the end of last year, and it is pretty much brand new, and I treat it as such.  I have water spots all over my CD player, my dash, my gauges, the gear shift... pretty much every where.  I do not care what has happened in the past or what kinds of things will happen in the future, as they are not related to my incident.  You have no way to prove that I left the window cracked.  I know it was not down, as I do not crack my windows, except to dry my car out when it gets run through the wash.  And funny thing is, when your guests arrive to the car wash, they are approached by your staff and I can almost guarantee that more than half the people that use your services, roll down their driver side window to talk to the person who inputs the wash details.  I am VERY dissatisfied with how this is being handled.  I have been back to the location since, and no where does it say that the guest is responsible for such a thing when they get out of their vehicle to let someone else drive it through.  You may have disclaimers located in other places, none of which are on the receipt or anywhere visible as a customer gets out of their car.  I put full trust in your staff and company to do the right thing.  I didn't even get a refund for the service! Plus, because they were so busy drying it out and not telling me what was going on for the HOUR I waited for my car, they didn't even finish cleaning it! Your staff was clearly avoiding the issue since no one approached me and I had to find a manager to be able to get anything resolved.  I want this fixed.  If it was your car, one of the most expensive things you own, and this is what happened, you would be dissatisfied as well.

I went to Cobblestone Auto Spa in Laveen, AZ a number of times as a paying customer. Each time the blowers did not dry off my vehicle. By the 3rd time I went and experienced the same thing, I was able to catch the manager there. I made him aware of the issued, he looked at my car, and said "oh that shouldn't have happened". "Drive back through and let me observe to make sure the blowers are working properly". I drove back through and after I came out of the car wash, he looked at it and stated, "it looks like our blowers are not working properly". He also stated that he would have the blowers looked to see if there was anything mechanically wrong with them. On today, I visited there again for a car wash, expecting to see improvement in how the blowers dried my vehicle, but I did not see any improvement. I brought this to his attention as I saw him there again. He said no one else is complaining about it.

Prior to Cobblestone opening in Laveen, I would frequent the Superstar Car wash on 19th Avenue and Baseline. I have never had any issues with their blowers completely drying off my car. I mentioned this to the Cobblestone manager while there today when I brought to his attention that his blowers still don't appear to be working thoroughly. His response to me was, "well it sounds like Superstar is where you should be going". I took that as directive rom him to discontinue patronaging Cobblestone Auto Spa. I think that it was unprofessional and unbecoming of a business professional to say that to a customer. I also do not believe he had the blowers looked at to make sure they were working properly from my initial mention to him. I believe he just said that to appease me initially. I will no longer patronage this business. The manager made it clear to me that does not and did not value my business as a customer.

Can we please get year make and model of the vehicle? We are looking into all options. Thanks,[redacted]

[redacted], Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We regret to hear of your unfortunate events, and that your experience did not meet your expectations.  It does sound like tire cover was not on properly.  We have found in circumstances...

like this one or more of the brackets are not securely fastened.  If you email me the receipt, I will be more then happy to reimburse you for the tire cover. Referring to your comments about not having adequate staffing and send car through the wash without a driver, those are full service vehicles and we don’t  have employees sit inside vehicle when the car in going through the car wash.  This has nothing to do with staffing, its how just about every full service car wash process full service vehicles and we have an employee that drives the vehicle from the exit of the tunnel to the finish line.    Best regards, [redacted]Operations Manager[redacted] ext [redacted]

The damaged items were promotional items in a cloth business bag. The detail was not done according to what I paid for . The vendor did nit request to inspect what was wrong they demanded that I return the vehicle and leave it for them to redo. They had my car originally more than four hours and did not complete the work paid for. The day or two after they did the work I found the spoiled still wet floor mats in the trunk with the damaged promotional items as well . I notified them the following morning. This was all within 72 hours of the car detail. They did not do the work they were paid to do they ruined my carpets by leaving them drenched in the trunk and ruined more than 60 business documents

Before my decision to deny this claim I spent hours upon hours at this location trying to wrap my head around how a piece of equipment will pull a fender out of its original position. Especially without damaging the antenna that Mr. [redacted] claims my equipment got tied up in. It simply did not...

happen. The amount of pressure this piece of equipment applies is pretty minimal; the only part that touches the vehicle is the ‘Neoglide’ type of cloth from the car wash manufacture. At this particular location, we made the decision months ago not to remove antennas. Mr. [redacted] made a statement in his 1 star Yelp review that we have signs that ask for you to lower your antenna, which is accurate, we do ask that all power antennas be lowered because they do not flex the way screw in antennas do, typically snapping them in half. Cobblestone is not in business to deny claims and make our loyal customers unhappy. This particular location has paid close to $15,000 in damages this year alone. We do not shy away from what is right. I offered Mr. [redacted] some kind of partial reimbursement as an act of good will, not as an admission to guilt. In our emails, Mr. [redacted] said he would forward to his insurance company and I can fight it out with them. I have no problem doing that if need be. I tried to be the professional here and do what is right for both sides, even if the customer is still not 100% happy. We just don’t open our checkbooks for irresponsible reasons.  Regards,[redacted]Operations ManagerCobblestone Auto Spa

To whom it may concern,I have received 1 phone call and then went out of town, I have a lot of calls to catch up on and planned to do so this Sunday. I have asked other managers in our company what they would do in this situation and everyone agrees that the 1 year refund is as far as we should...

go.  Typically our policy is 3 months. This is not a Cobblestone problem. When credit cards expire the auto recharge ends, and apparently that is not the case with [redacted]. If you are willing to accept the 1 year refund our office staff has offered you, then please let us know and we will be more than happy to send a check. Regards,[redacted]Cobblestone Auto Spa
