April 10, 20171411 K St. NW, 10th FloorWashington DC 20005-3404Re: Washington Gas Account # [redacted]Dear Revdex.com, Washington gas is in receipt of your rebuttal regarding the amount of the deposit placed on the account. We would like to apologize for any confusion the previous response may have caused. We attempted to contact via telephone and received no answer so a voicemail was left. However, we will be glad to further clarify upon this matter. Upon review of the records on the account, a deposit of $270.00 was placed on the account in August 2016. Once this was noticed, a call was made to Washington Gas and an agreement was made to place this deposit on a 4 month installment plan. The first installment was billed on the invoice dated October 7, 2016 for $75.00, 2nd installment billed on November 7, 2016 for $80.00, and a 3rd installment of $75.00 billed on December 8, 2016. This December 8th invoice shows other charges of $155.53 due to the 2nd and 3rd installment not being paid and $0.53 in late fees. In January 2017, $292.54 was brought forward which included the previous unpaid installments, current usage, and the 4th deposit installment of $45.00. There was no additional deposit assessed to increase the deposit to $380.00. The original deposit of $270.00 is currently the only deposit that has been assessed. There is currently $130.28 remaining towards this deposit. Once paid in full, the $270.00 will be returned to the customer after a year of good payment history. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact our customer support center at 703-750-1000 or via email at [email protected]. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to provide clarification upon these charges and have a great day.Sincerely,Washington Gas Customer Support

November 16, 20171411 K St. NW, 10th FloorWashington DC 20005-3404Washington Gas Account #[redacted]Dear Revdex.com, Washington Gas is in receipt of your rebuttal to the previous submission regarding the Weather Normalization Adjustment charges assessed to your billing. We will be glad to provide answers to your questions below. Washington Gas cannot disclose each neighbors individual gas consumption due to this being each customers private information. Also, being that each household uses different amounts of gas, the WNA charge may vary per each customer. The formula used to calculate these charges can be found in the following link which is a direct page from the Virginia General Service Provisions for Washington Gas. As stated before, this is set in place by the Commonwealth of Virginia State Corporation Commission. https://www.washingtongas.com/-/media/[redacted]Hopefully you find this information helpful. the manner in which this situation was handled. Upon review of the information provided, this situation has been fully resolved. We have contacted our credit department to remove any negative hits to the customer’s credit report. Also, all late fees have been waived that were assessed due to difficulties processing payments. October 3, 20171411 K St. NW, 10th FloorWashington DC 20005-3404Washington Gas Account #[redacted]Dear Revdex.com, Washington Gas is in receipt of your submission regarding a billing inquiry for the account referenced above. We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience...

this matter may have caused. Our customers are very important to us and we continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service. Upon review of the records on the account, we see where you assumed ownership as of July 19, 2017. On the billing invoices released in August and September, there was 3 CCFs of gas consumed each month due to the gas remaining on and flowing to appliances. These readings were actual readings obtained by a technician. Also, due to the account being active, you will be billed system charges, taxes, and additional fees which are outlined on the bill. These are fees that are charged to all customers with open accounts. We do understand that the property is vacant. If you wish to close the account and turn the gas completely off to avoid all billing, you have the option to do so. However, please be advised of the drop in temperature during the upcoming months which can cause piping to freeze.  In regards to your Washington Gas online profile, we have confirmed that you are still actively enrolled and your profile has not been deleted. Please disregard any account deletion notices you may receive going forward. Your profile will not be effected in any way by these erroneous notices. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support center at [redacted] via email at [email protected]. Thank you for allowing us to assist you with this matter and have a great day.Sincerely, Washington Gas Customer Support

[redacted] Washington Gas is in receipt of your submission regarding errant billing in the amount of $653.43. We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience...

this matter may have caused. Our customers are very important to us and we continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service. Upon review of the records on the account, we have made billing adjustments to correct the estimated readings which amounted to the total of $635.43. A corrected billing invoice was generated for the period between February 4, 2017-May 3, 2017. We credited the payment of the $635.43 which was drafted via auto-pay. There is currently a credit of $522.52 which can be refunded via check. The reason this amount varies from the original $635.43 is due to being re-billed for the correct consumption between February 4, 2017-May 3, 2017. Please contact our customer support center at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] if you would like to request this refund to be sent to a mailing address.  If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support center at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] and an agent will be glad to assist in the best way possible.
