I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Their letter offers no legitimate explanation for their routine policy of holding the deposits of new customers hostage for 10 business days (and 5 business days for established customers). These are inordinate delays, and impossible to justify as all the necessary verifications happen electronically within seconds, and certainly within a day or two. Just for comparison, [redacted], which offers very similar on-line banking, makes deposits available within 2-3 days maximum, and usually within 1 day according to their representative. Capital One claims that one of the reasons for their delay is that they "take security very seriously". But during the more than two calendar weeks that elapsed from when they received my deposit until they actually allowed me to withdraw it again, they requested no additional information from me to verify my identity, and their claim, therefore, that these two weeks were needed for security purposes is ludicrous. Compare this with credit card companies which issue cards (i.e. essentially lend money) to new customers instantly based on an online application, and you can see that it is absurd that Capital One is claiming that there would have been some security risk involved in giving me my own money back!

My accounts have not been combined and there is no reason as to why they were denied. This reply on the behalf of Capital One is repetative. The message stated the same things exact reasoning Capital Ones customer service dept. told me which does not fix the problem nor tells me the reason why the problem exist.

I contacted capital one,the fraud department agreed this was a cause of fraud.like I told them I applied for a secured card on december 10th 2014 and a business card august 2014.the rest were not done by me.as for 6 inquiries.thats 6 per credit agency total of 18.why did the capital one fraud department agree to send letters to credit bureaus.now you have a different answer.this is very damaging to my credit report im trying to fix.I want 12 removed from my credit reports and stop accepting applications in my name.as for the letters you sent.I have never seen any letters sent to this address.so now where are they getting sent to?all I want is 12 inquiries I didnt not apply for or give anyone permission to apply for.also for you to stop any applications sent in with my name on them.

Capital One has refused to look into the issue stating their policy does not permit a real human being to look into such matters. I have 2 credit cards with Capital One, I also have a checking account and two savings accounts at Capital One 360. Today I have opened a credit card account and a checking account with Discover Card and will begin migrating all of my business to Discover. As their customer service continues to decline, customers like myself will be heard by their footsteps as they leave Capital One.

I do not accept what Capital One Bank wrote in response to my Revdex.com Complaint. I will only pay $25.00 a month until further notice, or until my account is paid off, and I will only pay for what I charge on this account. I will pay on this account between 36 to 40 more months at $25.00 a month, any made up fees or made up charges--drop it.

According to all my documents there was no payment due for September, so when I didn't pay October because my deposit would have more than covered it and should have already been returned. It still was not 30 days late in October. The only thing that I am disputing is how October 2016 is reporting on my credit report. I was not 30 days late. I find it funny it took another 2 months to get the remainder of my deposit back too, but that's not what I am disputing.

As a customer of 5 years, I am no longer going to be using my Capital One Venture card. This is frustrating because I have perfect payment history and good credit. Here is why I have deactivated my account. I requested a credit limit increase so that I can move all of my monthly auto-pay accounts over to Capital One and utilize the rewards points, and the response came back "Declined due to low average monthly payment" This made no sense to me since I have had a zero balance for a majority of the time the account has been open, and now that I actually want to use the account and utilize the rewards points, why am I turned away? I spoke with a customer support supervisor and she says all the decisions are made by a computer system which needs some more time to calculate the numbers. You can't have a human being take a better look at consumer accounts to evaluate the situation? I'm sorry, that is ridiculous, and as a result, I will take my business elsewhere.

As it is my intent to provide our valued customers with quality service, I appreciate the opportunity to review and resolve your concerns. In your complaint, you state that Kohl’s failed to credit you for a returned Kohls.com order. You are requesting that Kohl’s process the full credit for this order, as well as reimburse you for any assessed late fees and interest.
