This response does nothing to address the wiring harness that was incorrectly installed and voided my warranty or to address the damages to my vehicle or to resolve the situation that I still do not have towing capabilities with my vehicle Since filing the complaint I have been able to have my brother-in-law, who is an auto insurance claims adjuster, inspect my vehicle He also noticed that they did not reinstall my rear left taillight correctly and that they damaged the cover over top of the rear bumper by the liftgateU-Haul needs to immediately refund those charges and work directly with [redacted] to do whatever is necessary to reinstate my warranty, have [redacted] (preferably Green [redacted] in Greensboro where I purchased my vehicle) replace the three damaged panels, remove everything that U-Haul has installed and have it all replaced with [redacted] parts that will work correctly with my vehicle

September 21, 2015Revdex.com ID#: [redacted] U-Haul Ref#: [redacted] Thank you for your concern for our customer Mr [redacted] [redacted] ***, our Executive Assistant for our Western Massachusetts and Vermont Regional Office, followed up on the information Mr [redacted] provided She informed our office her Traffic Manager in their office contacted Mr [redacted] and explained, based on their records and the information on myuhaul.com, there is no record of a $quote to have U-Boxes delivered from Indianapolis to his residence Mr [redacted] stated he was told this price in person by an employee in Indianapolis Our Traffic Manager relayed there is nothing indicating this quote and if he can provide a written confirmation or email showing the quote, we will work with him He was also informed if he needed a third box, he should have contacted us so we could have provided one Out of recordings pulled, Ms [redacted] stated none mentioned needing a third box Mr [redacted] became upset and said he didn’t feel like he should call in because everyone at U-Haul is incompetent and would not be able to help him Ms [redacted] advised our office the charges will stand but they would also be willing to review the situation again if he can provide documentation.Our customers are very important to us and we regret to hear of situations that cause problems for themThank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us to offer a response.Sincerely, [redacted] Executive AssistantU-Haul International

Attached are four of the nine pictures that MrB [redacted] at [redacted] took of the wiring job that the U-Haul dealer applied to my vehicle Notice the one picture that the wire shows running the length of the vehicle underneath without any form of attachment like the use of Zip Ties or other to support this loose wire As MrThaddis M [redacted] Jr., the store General Manager who saw this photo said, "It should have never been done that way".MrB [redacted] indicated that it was a very poor job of installation and that the U-Haul company should be responsible for any cost that I / we incurred due to the failure of this wiring on our vehicle.So I continue to reject the denial from U-Haul local Gainesville, FL regional representative and their insurance company repwest that they say they are not at fault as they are the ones whom installed the wiring! I continue to say they are responsible for the failure and as MrB [redacted] indicated, any business like this should cover their failure to perform as required in a business environment [redacted]

This is unacceptable We had more than $in damage to furniture stored in the attic section odlf the truck The UHAUL rep tried to tell us it had been mopped, another said it was due to rain dripping when the door was rolled up This was false The door does not roll up to the attic area $does not begin to cover the damages Multiple attempts have been made to talk with Rep West to no avail Once receipts were provided, they mysteriously disappeared and stopped answering us We have been long time customers of UHAUL and the way we were treated is not a testament of a company who has concern for their customers safety or possessions, much less their satisfaction We were told our belongings would be covered under the purchased insurance, but that's obviously not the case Why talk us into paying insurance if it isn't worth the paper it's written on?

A refund for $94 was issued for the truck rental along with a refund for $100 as an adjustment on his rental. Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Since this none of the payments were made at the uhaul number [redacted] said that there would be no record of the calls I had made all the paymebt s over the phone at the Rutland location with either [redacted] or *** They both assured me that my new credit card information was on file as of December 15th 2014, and that my card was going to be charged monthly It was not And I always had to call to initiate payment with the same response of that my card was on file and it would be charged [redacted] says the charges were for services renderedThis is not the case as the were late charges that added up on the boxes because my credit card, which both [redacted] and [redacted] assured me were in the system , didn't get charged monthlyInstead, I had in to call in may when I received my bank statements, only to find out my card hadn't been charged sincendemcember My job sends me to remote locations with no phone service so may was the earliest I could call regarding the account Plus, the was collected under information [redacted] told me the charge was for ubox rent and travel charges from Florida to Vermont, not late charges on the boxes When I payed he said I could call traffic to get the boxes moved Only when I filed my official complaint did [redacted] advise me that the charges I payed were not as described to me and the uhaul location in Rutland would not speak with me as per why [redacted] said what he said I did become irrate on the phone with [redacted] because she offered no assiatance and kept repeating that the monies were collect for services rendered I shouldn't be held accountable for their employees lack of action and poor customer sevice The card was on file at the one of only two locations that could take the payment I would prefer not to speak with [redacted] again as I was waiting for her call for almost two weeks as she said it would only take a couple days to retrieve phone calls from her system I still haven't received any itemized bills, or any bills for that matter, that break down all the charges as I asked The fact that she could not find any call I made to the number is absurd and show the complete lack of customer service uhaul provides as I had to call the number in order to get ahold of [redacted] and [redacted] at the Rutland location because I could never get a hold of them by just dialing the Rutland locations numberFurthermore, [redacted] stated on more than one occasion that [redacted] did not handle my account right and that he tried several time to gain access to the account to update it with no luck

I reject this response as sufficientIn fact, it is a slap in my face and insulting that a company would offer a $VIP card to use on their products after over charging my card $2,This is unacceptable and I expect a response in a timely mannerU-Haul now states that they conveniently "cannot find" the original audio recording for quote number [redacted] , for which they assure you as a customer you can have a copy if you request one, as "all calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes."I have attached my original notes taken the day of the recorded audio quote, the phone transcript showing when we spoke with U-Haul as evidence, the U-haul email quote that came after the recorded audio quote, and my Wells Fargo VISA account details.Please note that the quote on email states a $chargeGiven we were just quoted $1,on a recorded line (for which U-haul conveniently cannot find, though we have proof of the conversation on my phone log) we thought the $was a part of the overall original quoteTechnically, if they do not have the original audio recording, they never had original authorization to charge my VISA, which is a direct violation of the Electronic Fund Transfers ActIn addition, I never received any quotes for the additional three U-Boxes requestedWith this in mind, I am within my full rights to reject the costs in their entirety, but I am a reasonable human beingThis is why I am requesting the total charge come out to $2,or $per U-BOX.I am confident that if U-Haul desires to resolve this complaint, it will find the original recording, review this case thoroughly and act fairly on its client's behalf

The CSR never mailed me my licenseHe did call me last week, more than days after my initial attempts to get a response from the rental locationDuring this call he said that they did not find my licenseMy complaint is simply that it was not possible to get the location CSR to call me back, even in response to several messages from corporate customer serviceI have replaced my license and there is no need for further followup

I am no longer interested in corresponding with this companyI have cut my losses and moved on with a new companyThe more I thought about it, I do not wish to do business with a company who blames the customer for the companies mistake
