I am rejecting this response because: I would like an explanation as to why we were told we needed a new sewer line and why we ended up getting a credit card in the mail when we specifically said we did not want to open another credit card beings we were not going to be having our sewer line redone. This is ridiculous! I'd like to know that no one else is going to get this type of treatment seems like it's only about  $. Disappointing that people will use scare tactics to push you into things that's over priced and unnecessary. If we wouldn't have gotten a second opinion we would be paying for something that doesn't need done. With an option of $7,000 or $18,000 completely outrageous. Many people wouldn't no any better that's to think especially when I live in a neighborhood with alot of older people that constantly get taken advantage of anyway! Running a good successful business includes having standards and morals!

xxxxx at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing- xxxxx did a fantastic job. He had to come out twice, and was super nice and helpful both times. I even had another repair man here at the same time, and he said "I really like xxxxx. He's a super nice dude".

Benjamin Franklin has always been very professional every time I've used them. Highly recommended.

[redacted] came out tomy house back in September and did some work and I was very much satisfied. He gave me an estimate for a new water heater. When I was ready to install the heater to my surprise the installer happen to be [redacted].He did a wonderful job and also clean up after thework wasdone. In the future if I should require any plumbing work I would ask for only [redacted].He is very experience and dedicated. Thanks[redacted], job well done.

We had a minor catastrophe on a Sunday afternoon. Our basement pump went out, the one that sends all the basement waste water out to the septic tank. We called in the morning on Monday, and they were there right away. It turns out that the previous "plumber" had installed the wrong pump; not equipped to handle toilet waste. Mike and his son cleaned everything up and replaced the pump for us in no time. They were great! They were very nice, friendly, and professional. And they even waived their service fee since they were referred to us by someone who had done well drilling work for us in the past. I would definitely refer them to anybody!

xxxxx arrived on time and quickly got to work. After his first few attempts to clear the kitchen drain were not successful, he was able to determine the problem was in a pipe under the house. He worked until he got the drain clear and water was flowing smoothly again. It's obvious to me that he knows how to diagnose and fix problems. xxxxx cleaned up the unavoidable messes, and left the kitchen and under the house as he found it. xxxxx is very friendly, yet professional. He describes the problems in an easy to understand manner. I would highly recommend xxxxx to my family and friends.

Gary G[redacted] has come to our home several times within the last couple of years to perform annual plumbing service maintenance, each visit rendered us with great satisfaction for the services that Gary provided. Honesty, courtesy, and quality rate as must haves when we choose a company to provide plumbing and or other household services; Gary fulfills all our requirements and then some. I am sure that other technicians provide great service in the company; we would hope to see Gary each time servicing is required in our home, he is like an old trusted friend of our family due to his straight forwardness, his non condescending manner of explaining the tasks that he will be performing and his explanations of any adverse situations that may or will occur in our home.

I am absolutely satisfied with the work done by this company. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing their services.

After over 40 hours without water and much aggravation with another plumber, Ben Franklin arrived in the form of [redacted]. He assessed the situation, I told him what I wanted done, he gave me an estimate with which I agreed and he assured me the job would be completed that day. What more could I ask for? Great job, done in a timely manner AND he even cleaned up! A customer could get spoiled like this!

I had a very negative experience using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. My plumber was [redacted] There was a leak in my basement. ** indicated that the problem was my sump pump. He said the least expensive fix would be to adjust the floats and that would cost $155. He said that if that didn't resolve the issue, my sump pump would need to be replaced and that would cost $1700. ** said the pump was "burnt up". Fortunately for me this service call was on the weekend and he could not get the sump pump. I called another plumber and he solved my problem with a $20 piggyback float. $20 is a whole lot less than the $2000 that ** estimated. The float was installed and that "burnt up" sump pump works like a charm. Do not use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They are a rip off. They were going to charge me $2000 at Christmas time for an unnecessary repair. I plan to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and share my story with [redacted] on [redacted] I plan to tell all my family and friends about my negative experience.

[redacted]. arrived in response to a service call to fix a leak with my washer. Of course when I tried to show him the leak by turning on the washer, it didn't leak at the time.
[redacted] still continued to diagnose the leakage without seeing the leak. He found the problem with the pipe running from the washer to the main sewer pipe in the bathroom.
He ran a plumbers snake and unclogged the drain.
He was very personable, and business like. I have done wash since he left and it worked fine, no water leakage.

The Ben Franklin Service Pros did a wonderful job replacing our sewer line. They were knowledgeable, polite and courteous. I would highly recommend their services.

[redacted] came out inside the window we were quoted and solved our problem. I would recommend this company as to their safety measures and high level of professionalism. If you are lucky enough to get [redacted] then you will be happy with his work ethic and personality. He made a rough Saturday because of the plumbing problem not so bad after all!

We have always dealt with John D for all our plumbing issues and are very happy with our experiences with him. He carefully explains problems to us and describes potential solutions in detail. His work is excellent and prices are reasonable

[redacted],   This is Marc from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I am writing in response to complaint #[redacted] filed by Mr. [redacted].   I will first go over the service timeline for this customer to clearly identify dates of service and payments rendered: 8/29/16: Snaked the mainline on...

an emergency call basis for $514 9/10/16: Snaked the mainline (regular scheduling) for $310 9/12/16: Performed jetter cleaning service on mainline for $789 (price reduced by $310 because of previous snaking) 10/1/16: Performed jetter cleaning service on mainline for $934   In most situations involving a clogged main sewer line, we will attempt to snake it first. If that doesn’t work sufficiently, a jetter cleaning service is recommended. In many of these situations, the customer’s main sewer line needs a permanent repair performed after both cleaning services to ensure no further issues stemming from a damaged main sewer line. To ensure sufficient access to the main sewer line to make a repair, both of the cleaning services (snake and jetter) are usually required. That being said, we performed the snake and jetter services twice before doing a main sewer repair for this customer. Our error in this situation was the delay in which we did a repair estimate and then in performing said repairs. Due to these circumstances, we are willing to refund one of the mainline snaking charges and one of the jetter cleaning charges. We offer to refund the most expensive of each ($514 and $934) to more closely accommodate our customer’s wishes. We have tried to contact the customer by phone with this offer, but are as of yet unsuccessful. We will continue to attempt to contact them until a resolution is agreed upon. Thank you.

[redacted]Hi [redacted],I just wanted to give you an update on [redacted].Our Account Manager did receive a call back from her this afternoon. We went out to her home on 2/25/17 for a clogged drain. Our drain technician cleared her main line and cameraed the line and suggested that she have a Project Manager come take a look at it since there were concerns about the root intrusion issue. Our Project Manager gave her Straight Forward Price for a line replacement. Her neighbor had used us in the past and was very pleased with our service and that's why Ms. [redacted] called us. What we offered her was a long-term solution to a continual problem rather than an ongoing short term solution. The roots will continue to grow and compromise the line. Our Account Manager will address this issue with our General Manager next week and we will call her back to see what resolution we can reach with her.We will update you once we have that conversation with her.Regards,Cindy W[redacted]

I called this company for a clogged and leaky toilet issue. Since I have alway wanted to upgrade my cheap toilet, I asked the repair person for options that are available. He was very knowledable and he could answer any question I had. I am going to have him install the top quality toilet of my dream and I am very happy about it. The repair person and other people in the office work together nicely. Now I am a great fan of this intellegent, sofisticated, punctual company.
