as been in contact with Mrand Mrs*** regarding the issues they have brought forth. They have successfully resolved the issues and have provided monetary compensation as well. In regards to the financing, the customer will need to contact the financing company that they used. Typically the first statement is received 3-weeks following the delivery. Customer Relations Manager spoke to MrsMcCormick this eveningShe apologized for the delivery issues and overall experience the customer has had so farIn regards to the Two Seat Reclining Power Sofa, the issue explained is that when the back piece is fitted into the bottom piece, that the bracket is not adjustable and therefore there is a inch visible gapA photo of this issue has been attachedWe have advised MrsMcCormick that we are receiving a brand new piece into our warehouse on the night of 09/and that on 09/our Corporate Customer Relations Manager will personally assemble the sofa in the warehouse, inspect the piece, take pictures and provide those photos to MrsMcCormick to ensure the couch meets her standardsOnce MrsMcCormick confirms the sofa meets her standards, we will pay for a special delivery to take this to the customer’s property at a time convenient for her and her brother in lawOnce the delivery date and time is set, the sofa will be specially delivered by our best drive team who will ensure her product is handled with extra care and is delivered with no damageThe customer agreed to this procedure In regards to the $1,in rental loss, our corporate office has carefully reviewed the information provided by MrsMcCormick and we were not able to justify refunding $1,for the sofa being left unassembled in the rental propertyFor the inconvenience she has experienced thus far, we have refunded $for her delivery fee on 08/18/Our Corporate Customer Relations Manager also offered the customer an additional refund of $+ tax = $The total credit we will be offering to rectify this issue is $ In regards to the damage done to the wall, our delivery company has resolved this issue with Matthew McCormickHis maintenance was able to repair the wall at the cost of $and that amount is being reimbursed to the customer in fullMrMcCormick was accepting of this resolution for the damage Regards, Ashley Furniture Industries, IncCorporate Office AB

Upon review of the
customer’s complaint, I want to apologize for the delay on receiving your refundThis should have been explained to the customer a little bit better when the customer requested the refundIt takes a minimum of days for a refund to be processed once the refund information has been sent over to corporateUnfortunately the store did not explain this completely accurate to the customerI have reached out to the store and our finance team to have the customers refund expeditedAshley Furniture Corporate office is only able to process refund checks once a week which is on TuesdaysI have asked that they make sure the customer check is cut and sent out this coming Tuesday 9/13/to which they have agreed they will be able to do
The store manager will also be reaching out to the customer to apologize and explain the process

I just received an email from guardsman which apparently is their repair company and they stated they will not repair our brand new, not even used furniture due to not being covered plus not being notified in timeI explained to them when we submitted the paperwork that this has been on going for months and that we notified as soon as we unboxed themWe should not even be using our extended warranty since they are brand newObviously flawed in making or from rubbing inside the boxes they were stored inThe bed frame damage was not even mentionedIt is just so upsetting since a man was sent out in the beginning and he said he could repair it allin one daywith the materials needed which they would be sending us when he submitted his reportWe were also told when we purchased the sofa that even if we got a stain it when we lived with it that it would we fixed or replaced and guardsman stated no stain repair either, not that we have any stainsSo where does this leave us now

This situation has not been resolved. I had to return to Coventry, Rhode Island on April 19, and was not in Florida on 05/02/when Ashley was supposed to have delivered the replacement table. I have not had access to the internet since 04/19/and therefore had no knowledge of these emails. I just got internet service again on05/08/2016in Rhode Island. The situation still has not been resolved. Unfortunately, I do not know at this time when I might be able to return to Florida so that Ashley Furniture could make good on their promise
