I worked with Linda M for my refinance. She was professional and always responsive to my questions and needs. She kept me informed of where I was in the refinance process. The whole process went smoothly and I will definitely recommend Academy Mortgage to friends and family.

David was excellent to work with. He was available for questions and kept in touch without being too little or too much contact. He even answered some questions on weekends and always replied timely during the week.

We worked with Academy Mortgage, and they were so great and helpful through the whole loan and home buying experience. We felt that we were in a good place. After we had closed on the house though, when we had a question about paying the actual loan, they told us we had to make our first payment through them, and then it was handed off to another company. Not knowing any better, this is what we did. When it came time for our second mortgage payment, we received a notice that we hadn't paid the first, and therefore owed double. When we went to Academy for help, they told us basically, "yep, you owe them 2 payments, because the first was for us." It took the new loan company calling Academy on a 3 way call and arguing for almost an hour, and talking about the Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act to get them to agree and make the situation no fault to us. The point of this review is to tell you all to be careful and do your research. Ask questions, because they are sneaky.

This is the second time I have used Dustin D with Academy Mortgage and he was phenomenal both times. Heather Moody was a huge help as well! They are both amazing, a great team, and just good people! I always recommend Dustin to anyone when I hear they might be buying a home. Dustin is not just amazing at what he does but he cares about you. Thanks Heather and Dustin! We made it. :)

One of the cleanest and easy loan experiences I've ever had. Travis and the entire office staff were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive to my many questions during this process. Travis worked hard to get me locked into a very good rate. Great job Academy!!

In this seller's market we struggled to find a home that would offer us the typical close time of 30-45 days. We were contingent on the sale of our house and our offers were not strong enough because of it. I contacted David early on when our house was first listed and he reached out often to see how the search was going. Our house sold pretty quick and we were getting pretty close to the close date when we found a home that was vacant and could close quickly. After our offer was accepted, we were moving into the house within 2 weeks. What a relief. The communication that was maintained was outstanding and I was kept informed at every step of the way. I'm very thankful to have had a great experience with Academy Mortgage and would not hesitate one bit to refer my friends or family.

I used Academy Mortgage to purchase my first home. My loan officer Tara H was amazing. She explains everything and guides you step by step all while making me as comfortable as possible. She responds promptly and always with a smile. I'm so thankful she helped my through this process.

It is all about people dealing with people. Jevon D made it easy to choose Academy. Candi P made it easy to BE and Academy client. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are great representatives for your Company...and as it turns out, a couple of VERY decent people as well.

I had no problems with Keith which is why I rated the way I did above. Keith was responsive and patient and answered all my questions which I know was a lot since this was my first purchase. The only problem I had is when it came to the additional documentation requests. I didn't mind the additional requests but what I did mind is the lack of detail in the requests which made for unnecessary follow up requests. For example, I was asked by Vanna to provide an explanation for 2 addresses and an explanation for a recurring charge on my bank statements. I didn't mind providing those responses. What is frustrating is that I provided those responses and get an email back asking me to provide them again but in letter format signed and dated. I could have put that together the first time around if the requests were specific from the beginning. Dealing with this unnecessary back and forth almost had me cancel the whole process and go somewhere else. However, at the end of the day, Vanna and Keith remained professional throughout the whole process when I'm sure they may have wanted to jump through the computer at some point. Closing went smoothly; to the point that I really didn't believe I actually closed. I would recommend Academy to friends and family.

Painless. Dan T emailed me regularly, updating me on the loan process. They have several videos explaining the loan process, which as a first time home buyer, was quite helpful.

As a first time home buyer I was anxious about the process. Matt was able to break down the steps and provide an explanation that I could understand and feel confident about. As a small business owner a lot of people told me getting a mortgage can be difficult and warn me about a lot of things. HOWEVER, I had a great experience with Sam and the Rosenblatt Group. I had all my paper work in order which made things easy for both parties. The Rosenblatt Group was referred to them by a client of mine. Sam's Team was awesome and super fast with everything. They are in constant communication with you through out the loan process and send you every document with encryption (which is very important to me). Sam is very reachable and his team is great at their jobs. As a millennial, I loved that they had a functional mobile app that lets you upload just about all of your documents into the app. CLOSING: I was originally scheduled to close on June 15th (about 52 days from beginning to end) However, the seller was eager to sell and wanted to move settlement up...I was all for settling early as well. Sam and his Group were able to help me close early within about 31 days. I was able to close end of May (May 26th) which was awesome. Everything went smoothly and I'm excited to be a first time home buyer. I would highly recommend Sam and his Group to anyone looking to buy a home.
