It has been 75 days since my car accident and I have yet to receive payment for my totaled vehicle and rental reimbursement.
I was involved in a car accident in August 12, 2019 my car wasn't picked up from the tow yard until the end of September after going back and forth with them and then stating they couldn't locate my vehicle and myself contacting the tow company to confirm on numerous occasions that it was there. Last week I finally got to talk to someone who seemed somewhat helpful and knowledgeable, but apparently I was wrong because she assured me that my payment was going to be overnighted to me as soon as they received my title and paperwork back. I paid $25.50 to overnight everything to them so that they would have it by noon on Friday, October 18, 2019. I emailed to confirm that it was received on Monday, October 21, 2019 at which time they confirmed that it was received. Then on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 they emailed me to confirm the mailing address for the overnight delivery of my check and I still have not received it!!!! We are on day 75 since my accident and still NO payment! This is ridiculous and unheard of! Now I can't get anyone to reply to my emails, answer my calls, or respond to my voicemails!
I just want the payment and reimbursement.

Was struck by their insured *** on 10/7/2019 the young 21 year old forwarded me her insurance information a claim was filled the following day claim number CFL19127432 (inside adjuster *** @XXX-XXX-XXXX Ext 8133) its been around a month they said my vehicle was a total loss and just waiting on the insured to call with a statement to get the claim processed. The insured said she already called and the inside adjust says she hasn't called. We have a witness (info that was forwarded to the inside adjuster)as well as my wife was in the vehicle when the accident took place. The insured was willing to pay out of pocket and admitted fault when she said she would pay cash for the repairs vs filling a claim and couldn't pay due to suspension damage. I just want to get this claim processed and move on. I have left messages for the inside adjust multiple times with no response. If we don't get this resolved within the week or so I will have to file a police report and contact my lawyer and file legal action agents Windhaven Insurance and or their insured Marleisia Ortiz.

Finally the insured and witness called to confirm the accident and coverage a estimate was forwarded to me for 2,300.00 dollars minus 5,000.00 that was deducted from the initial appraisal and the inside adjust cant explain why and or forward me a copy of a break down on the repairs. This a unbelievable can you guys let me know why you deducted 5k from the initial estimate? Thanks

At this time, the original estimate and one supplement totals $2,236.85. Payments to or on the behalf of the complainant has been sent. We will continue to work with the complainant's body shop until the repairs have been completed. We will mail a copy of the supplements to the complainant at his listed address and this addresses the inquiry.

the vehicle has been at the shop for about two weeks and a supplement was submitted by the shop and nobody has yet to call them to address the additional items, I need somebody from the insurance company to call the shop and get the process going I would like my vehicle back for the year is over and in addition I am paying for the rental vehicle as well.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to release any payments. Currently, Windhaven Insurance Company, is undergoing rehabilitation under the control of the Departmet of Financial Services. At this time, there is a temporary suspension of payments and we will not be able to address this matter. We expect this suspension of payments to be resolved soon and we would gladly address this matter at the approapiate time. After several attempts, my request still has not been handled.
I purchased auto insurance from Estrella Insurance on 12/29/2017 with the insurance provider as Windhaven Insurance policy #WIN01704849-03. Shortly after making the down payment, I received a letter from Windhaven indicating that they were missing information. I contacted the agent and she indicated that the issue would be handled and to ignore the letter. Shortly after that, I received a letter from the Department of Motor Vehicles stating that they did not have the correct insurance information for my car. I contacted the agent again and was told again that the issue would be resolved by her. The letter stated that I could fax proof of insurance by 1/15/2018 to avoid a suspension of my license also. On the 14th of January, I contacted the DMV who indicated that they had not received any insurance information and I attempted to fax the documents but was told it takes approximately 14 days for them to be processed and my license may be suspended in the meantime, which it was. I called for a status check the beginning of February, my license was still suspended and they asked for my insurance information via the automated phone service and proceeded to immediately unsuspend my license. In March 2018, I applied for a job with the United Postal Service which requires a driver's license check for the position I applied for. Upon completing the check, I was denied for the job due to a suspension on my license from 1/15/2018. Even though my license was not currently suspended, it was still showing on my driving record and my driving record had to be clear for the last 3 years. I contacted the DMV to inquire about the driving record and was told that the suspension entry could be removed because I had insurance at the time and there was no lapse in my coverage but that the insurance company who need to provide specific proof that I was covered. I contacted Windhaven Insurance more than 6 times to request this letter to be faxed to the DMV to clear the entry off of my driving record. I have passed *** else required for my job at the post office except for the driver's license check. After speaking with several agents over the course of months, I have been given excuses, been told that a letter can't be generated, that the letter can't say the information the DMV is requesting, that the letter was sent but officially the DMV has only received 2 incorrect letters. I have even gone directly to my agent at Estrella Insurance on 9/20/19 for her to request the letter from Windhaven Insurance, and she spoke directly to an agent who indicated that they would attempt to compose the letter and fax it but could not provide a copy of the letter or proof it was done. I am in desperate need of a resolution to this. The letter I need must provide specific information that I have provided on several different occasions and what is being sent is an automatically generated letter with none of the pertinent information. I am not being directed to anyone else and there is no other way this issue can be resolved. I have been offered the job 3 times and have been unable to pass *** driver's license check until this entry can be removed. I am not asking for something to be done that was a mistake on my part. I had the insurance coverage before the cancellation date and it just was not correctly reported to Tallahassee within a timely period as I assumed my agent was doing. I really need help with this. Its been almost 2 years now and I still can not get this resolved because they are about to offer me the job again.
I need a specific letter from Windhaven Insurance or Estrella Insurance with the requested information needed by the DMV generated and submitted to remove the error from my driving record.

Please be advised that Ms. has had insurance with our company since 12/29/17 without any lapse in coverage. We contacted the DMV and we were informed that Ms. has a sanction on her record due to a denial from a different insurance carrier. This sanction was generated after Ms. registered a 1997 Honda on 12/5/17 and provided a different company as her insurance provider. On 2/21/18, Ms. responded to the FR sanction and it was closed.

After speaking with the Tallahassee service center, I was told specifically that not only had no fax been sent since 10/9/2019 even though my agent requested another fax be sent on 10/19/2019 with all deletion request information; that no one was documented as calling in inquiring or verifying my infornation to complete the deletion request. As for my insurance, I purchased a car from a private lot and they attempted to force me into purchasing my tag and insurance through them for more than $400. I proceeded to get my own tag for $40 since I previously had a tag and secured my own insurance. The car lot provided Tallahassee with false insurance information on purpose and I had no other coverage until I obtained the insurance from Windhaven. Windhaven's insurance was NOT promptly reported to Tallahassee which caused the "sanction" on my license which has NOT been cleared and is the whole reason I have been requesting a deletion request letter which obviously is impossible to generate. There should not be this much difficulty in receiving service from an insurance company that I have been with since 2017. It is unbelievable that I should even have to keep calling and calling and repeating the same issue each time like there is no record of what is happening. It shouldn't take YEARS to fax a document!! Either fax the correct information, find me someone who can fax it, or lose a customer.

As we mentioned earlier, Ms. has had insurance with our company since 12/29/17 without any lapse in coverage. The FLDMV is seeking for proof of insurance as of 12/5/17 which we cannot provide since our policy had an inception date on 12/29/17. Ms. needs to clarify with the FLDMV the gap of insurance between 12/5/17 and 12/29/17 for her sanction to be reviewed. Ms. may contact our company to obtain copies of the proof of insurance letters that we sent to her on 7/9/19 and another one on 9/10/19.
Please let us know if any other clarification is needed

I have copies of the letters that were sentto the DMV and they were incorrect and missing the requested information. If I can get a letter with the correct information, which I have requested more than 5 times, not 2, then I will have no further complaints. The letters are being sent with the information on the cover page which is not received by the agents. I am requesting a deletion request letter on company letterhead from the insurance company faxed to XXX-XXX-XXXX with the following information:
Name and contact information for insurance company
Insurance policy number and limitations
VIN number, make, model, and year of vehicle
Policy effective dates of 12/29/2017 to 6/29/2018

The following statement worded exactly: This is a deletion request. There was no lapse of insurance coverage. The insurance cancellation or denial was in error.
This is what is being requested from the service center and I have already filed fraud charges against my car company for providing false insurance information to Tallahassee. But I still need the proof of the insurance "I" purchased for my car.

I was contacted directly today by the DMV who indicated that NONE of the requested information was included in the letter they received today. All that was sent was an insurance verification letter. But what is REQUIRED and what I am REQUESTING is a deletion request letter which MUST contain the information that I previously provided in my last response. If that specific information is not provided, the letter will not be accepted.

That payment was still outstanding so we have put a stop payment and re-issued the payment as of 10/15/19. We trust this will resolve the matter.
On the day of August 28 I was involve in an accident I call the insurance company I spoke to the adjuster Mr *** (XXX)XXX XXXX ext *** and we agreed that I was going to send some pictures of the damage of my car to him to do the appraisal which was approve on 09/11/2019 for $761,09 plus my deductible for $1000.00 making the total of 1761.09 for the repair of my ca, the body shop send them a supplement asking then for other parts that was not include in the appraisal and that all together it was 1000 dollars more, after the car been seating for more than a week and the owner been calling every single he was very upset he asking me to see if I can pressure for the insurance company to respond the I call them and left a message, next very day Mr *** told me he was gonna refer my claim to am total loss adjuster and they was going to contact me in 48 hours I still waiting with not respond I call Mr *** again few days ago asking him why the new adjuster have not call me and also told him I want to do a rebuilt title to my car even if it lose the value because I want to keep it, he say that is accept to the new adjuster when the assign one for me I still waiting do not want my car to be total lost to please see if he can do am rebuild title even if my car lose the value ,my insurance do not cover rental car I been back and forth to work in public buss and Lyft just finance this Toyota Camry 2009 on 05/25/2019 for $10087.66 from Autonation Chevrolet Dealer the body shop owner do not understand why do they want to total lost my car when is

I have reviewed your policy regarding your complaint. Your policy was issued on 08/04/19 with the following discounts, Auto Pay (EFT), Electronic Document Delivery, Homeowners, Preferred Driver and 24 Months of Prior Insurance. All new business policies are underwritten at the time of issuance and it was discovered that we had not received your proof of Homeownership and Prior Insurance. On 08/09/2019 we sent you a letter requesting the Proof of Homeownership and Prior Insurance to avoid an increase in premium. Because you selected electronic document delivery all your documents are delivered to you via your personal email address. Our letter advised you, you had 30 days to submit the missing documents. On 09/16/19 the policy was reviewed and the requires documents were not received so the Homeowners and Prior insurance discounts were removed. Also on 09/16/2019 we sent you an invoice for the additional premium due to the removal of these discounts. That payment was not received so the policy cancelled effective 10/01/19. The payment for the additional premium was not received so a refund is not due. As the policy was cancelled 10/01/2019 we made an exception to reinstate your policy because we received the proof of discounts on 10/02/2019. We applied the discounts and your policy is currently in active status. If you have any additional questions please contact your agent or Windhaven directly.

called me to let me know that the body shop will fix my car and I only have to pay the deductible (1000 dollars)
For my surprise when I ask about my claim and that the accident was not my fault y realise that they do no have information about how the accident happened

I called to a number that Mr *** gave me but they couldn't help me .

I file a claim for damages to my 2014 dodge ram truck, I received 3 estimates from different body shops, all exceed 4,000 in damages.
On 9/5/2019 my dodge ram 1500 was involved in an incident, 3 different body shops came back with estimates of 4,000+, Windhaven estimate is 1,500. I immediately called the field appraiser "***" to ask how did this happen, he informed me that he was told to remove pictures from his appraisal by my adjuster *** he stated he was told "some of his pictures are of previous damage". I then contacted the company who signed me up "Freeway Insurance" to see if they had copies of the photos they took at the time of purchasing the policy, luckily for me they did, and was happy to email them to me. The pictures clearly show no scratches, scars or dents when the policy was purchased. Mr. told me to contact Mrs Gutierrez to explain the problem, that has been impossible, 2 hours on hold then the phone will just hang up.
I would like for Windhaven to contact Freeway Insurance who originally took the before photos, and speak to that agency. Look at the pictures closer, blow them up if necessary, and STOP trying to lowball paying customers. This was not a mistake! the truck was clean and the sun was shinning when the pictures were taken.

My complaint is referenced to their non compliance to process my accident claim and vehicle repairs.
I was the Victim of a Car Accident on August 30, 2019, where the At-Fault Driver, Michaelo Raphael (Insured), Insured by Windhaven Insurance, admitted he was 100% at fault in the accident to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputy on the scene, who then issued a Police Report # XX-XXXXXX, which rendered the insured 100% At-Fault and placed as Driver No.1. The insured admitted to my Insurance Adjuster, *** Progressive Insurance tel: XXX-XXX-XXXX, claim no. XX-XXXXXXX. Mr. Cleland immediately obtained the insureds statement where admitted to 100% Liability and At-Fault for the accident. *** is the Claim Representative for Windhaven Insurance, (XXX) XXX-XXXX, Ex: 8056, Claim No: CFL-XXXXXXXX-XX, has made no effort to process my claim, to include; obtaining a sworn statement after day 1 of the accident, processing the claim, assessing the damages to my vehicle, assigning a bodyshop or a mechanic, providing a rental vehicle, not obtaining a Police Report, obtaining a statement from their Insured, ***, and not accepting Liability with all the evidence available in this obvious simple rear-end collision. I've tried to call Mr. Stiff of Windhaven over a dozen times and have only spoken to him twice where he does not want to do anything until conducts his investigation which he claims for the time being involves obtaining the Police Report, which Progressive Insurance determines its not necessary in a rear-end case, they're supposedly still trying to get a whole of there insured of the true insured after 4 weeks now and progressive got his statement in 2 days. Windhaven has only sent me a former letter as to their investigation and that I should seek vehicle repair and car rental from my insurance company (Progressive Insurance) in the interim, totally trying to throw the liability away from them and place the financial burden on me, where Windhaven Insurance is 100% at Fault. It's been 4 weeks and I'm driving my vehicle with damages which is appalling. I seek assistance from Revdex.com so Windhaven Insurance at first admit to 100 Liability and initiate processing my claim and initiate vehicl m mm P.M. ok I Job in P.M. e repairs ASAP, and provide a rental vehicle at their cost throughout the repair process, and not as a reimbursement expense as wrongfully stated in their form letter per Progressive Insurance. *** Stiff as not returned over 8 calls to my Claim Representative, *** In highly unprofessional manner. Windhaven Insurance did contact me and accepted Loability of the accident. Arrangements were made through my insurance to repair my car. My car has been repaired. Thank you for your valued assistance.

I called the 28th of august to process a claim, and the rep never informed me that my payment on the 22nd of august was never processed. They cancel my policy the same day that I called to informed of the claim. August 28th. Why would the rep not tell me that my policy was not active and that a payment was required but rather accepts the claim and give me a confirmation for the insurance to cancel the policy dated from that same date and then states that would not be able to accept the claim do to policy being cancel and stamp as none renewable? Sounds like fraud? Maybe.
For them to accept my payment and re-established my policy. Just want this company to be fair and treat customers with integrity and loyalty.

The notice of non-renewal was just to the complainant on 6/28/19 at his address of record. It is our understanding that this loss occurred after that time and therefore would be outside of the loss period. refund was promised but the company is filibustering over documentation I have already submitted multiple times.
I have been in contact with windhaven and trying to get a refund for a policy left active from 5/2018, the date of sale for the vehicle covered, until 8/2019. The company offered a refund but has since refused to provide it, stating that the proof of sale is not valid. They have asked for a handwritten cancelation request which has been provided and I have given them not only the proof of sale, a receipt from peddle. com, but also the offer id and the url to check for themselves for confirmation with peddle.com that the vehicle has been sold to them on the date specified in the receipt. I have attached the most recent transcript from a conversation between a windhaven rep and myself. I am at wits end with this company and their obvious evasion tactics. Please help me get the promised refund and stop them from doing this to their customers in the future. its absolutely ridiculous that ive been contending with them regarding this issue for going on two months now...
I am seeking a refund for the time the vehicle was sold to 8/28/2019 as was promised by windhaven.com.

Insurance company denied to State of Florida that I had insurance twice resulting in suspension of my license, license plate and registration.
I purchased a new vehicle and added it to my insurance. On Sept 3 I received a letter from Florida Highway safety and motor vehicles saying I needed to prove I had insurance because the insurance had denied my coverage. I called the insurance and they gave me all the info I needed. I then called Florida department of highway and motor vehicles automated system and gave them all my info and I received fax confirmation everything was fine. On 9/16/2019 I received a letter in the mail saying my license, license plate and registration were suspended and to immediately turn it in. Resulting now in not being able to drive my new car and paying for uber to get to work and making me have to go out of my way to get this fixed. I could of been arrested if I was pulled over for a mistake they made and now to get my license reinstated I hope they ***'t even think of making me pay for it. I know we are human and make mistakes but this error is just too serious. I am not only upset with the insurance but with The Florida department of highway and motor vehicles but I will file a separate complaint directly with them.
I want them to make sure my license, license plate and registration are back reinstated and in good standing without me having to miss work to go deal with any of this from their error.

I havent received payment that I was approved for from this insurance company
My car was hit by a Windhaven Policy Holder on 8/22/2019. I called the insurance company and provided the necessary information. I was told as of 9/5/2015 that I was approved, and a payment was going to be sent out that day, along with the estimate by email. Today makes over a week, and they have yet to send the payment, I called today the payment was still pending, with no explanation as to why. My adjuster name is Shakia Williams. I spoke with her Supervisor *** who was the one that approved me for payment. She told me to rent a vehicle and that I was cleared to take my car to a mechanic, which I did. The mechanic has ordered parts based off the estimate sheet I gave him, now the car is almost ready and I can't pay them because I don't have the money. As well I have rented a vehicle as stated with money out of my own pocket, which Im supposed to get reimbursed for. They are very unprofessional in this office and refuse to return phone calls or emails.
I am seeking the payment they approved me for.

Ms. came into the WPB Revdex.com office and informed us that she went into the Windhaven office on yesterday and her concerns have been resolved.
The company refuse to pay for my claim
On July 25, my car was hit by the car of my co-worker, who is a holder of WindHaven policy. I and the policy holder immediately called the company, the WindHaven client confirmed that the accident was due to her fault, and I opened the claim # CTXXXXXXXXX. A couple of days later the appraiser came to make an estimate. He told me the company would contact me within a week. But they never contacted me. They ignored my calls and voicemail. They are literally impossible to contact. They never answer their phones and never call back. A couple of days ago I received a letter saying that they would not pay the claim because they could not contact their client. It's just not true. Their client spoke to a representative of the company on July 25, and since then
she has tried to contact them many times (the last time she called them on September 11), they ignore her calls, same way as mine.
The amount disputed ($474.33 - estimate provided by an independent company for car repair plus $180 for 4 days of car rental, totaling $654.33)
The company should pay for my car's repair and 4 days car rental. ($673.33 = $473 + $200) $473 - estimate provide for the repair of my car. $200 - 4 days car rental

The claim was conditionally denied after 30 days pending our 1st party insured's cooperation.

To date the file is handled to conclusion with no supplements or receipts for rental being presented.

failing to fairly compensate me
My truck was hit by their client who failed to stop at a red light. Wind haven is refusing to pay for my losses. They only want to pay 70% of claim. I was told that I should look both ways before proceeding through a green light.

Without further objective evidence, we are having to deny the claim and the complainant has not proven his claim of negligence. They lie about insurance policies being cancel while they are actually active!!!
I was hit by person while parked. We exchanged insurance information and this person was at fault therefore his insurance was responsible for fixing the damages in my vehicle. The officer that showed up to the accident cite verified that this individual insurance was active and turns out according WINDHAVEN INSURANCE COMPANY this Person is uninsured! I called the officer and he was able to verify that his insurance is very much active. This place is ripping off people as well as committing fraud by lying to not pay for claims that they are responsible for.
Shutting this pace down they are committing fraud!

Do not insure your vehicle with Windhaven. They are rude, slow and do not make changes properly when you request it. I wanted to exclude a driver since a month ago still no changes have been made. They even charged me more on my insurance. Close down this insurance place they are just *** based in florida, I deal with the texas.

No Repsonse from company regarding my vehicle being rear ended by their policy holder.
I have repeatedly tried to contact my adjuster for a resolution to my vehicle being repaired. Now emails are being undelivered because the email has been deactivated. Her phone extension hangs up. I have tried calling to get another human being involved and get nothing. No one will answer the call. It has been 3 weeks with no resolution and no one will answer the phone.
I want my vehicle fixed immediately.
