Spoke with Charlie who was very professional showing patience with questions asked. Listened well explaining procedures clearly and accurate in completion of required paperwork/Emails. Very smooth process on loan request.
Thanks so much for your positive comments, Donald. We look forward to doing business with you in the future.
I was linked to this company through a site they pay to advertise with AS A LENDER (***). In fact, this company is NOT a lender and rates and payments they promote are false! AFTER pulling my credit, their "customer service" reps have told me they need me to "complete the application". WHAT?! You mean to tell me you pulled my credit without authorization?! The information they have is apparently not enough as the "customer service" rep now sends me emails detailing questions they need for me to answer...WHICH THEY HAVE ANSWERS TO IN MY CREDIT REPORT PULLED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION anyway! The company FALSELY advertised themselves as lenders, and pulled my credit report for NO REASON (because they can't/don't lend anyway!).
Innovative Funding Services (IFS) as well as some other companies advertise that we can assist customers. With regard to providing your approval in order to obtain credit, most providers such as *** disclose in their terms and conditions that credit may be obtained and by hitting submit you are authorizing lenders to check your credit.
The initial offer you received is a pre-approval, which is preliminary offer based on limited information. When considering your loan application, IFS considers additional factors such as your vehicle's value, employment status, debt to income, etc before we can sent it to any of our lenders.
As a one time courtesy, IFS will remove this credit inquiry.
Thanks.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I accept the resolution pending the removal of the inquiry as indicated. As of March 1, 2018, this inquiry remains. As an addendum, I would like to see the company stop advertising rates and payments as part of their marketing, considering these are not actual rates or payment plans that the company offers, they are estimates of third party offerings. I believe that if the company desires to operate in good faith with their customers, that would show by their removing of the misleading advertisements.

Buying from Avis car sales/IFS is like pulling teeth. Their sales people all of whom work remotely do not seem interested in selling their cars. For example, starting on 13th Feb until today I have had to call them at least thirty times because if you call them 10 times they might pick up once. They never respond to emails or voicemails. I have to keep begging them to move on to the next step e.g. Giving me the out the door price, giving me the wiring information, making sure they received my driver's license details etc. Their incompetence is mind blowing. For example, my sales person sent me a sales agreement to sign in which the total purchase price was $131,219.3 for a 2016 Toyota Corolla with 41.5k miles on it instead of $13,219.3!!! I had to call them at least 10 times, leave a message, and send them several emails about it. And still it took her over 12 hours to correct her own mistake despite bringing it to her attention so many times. This was a docusign agreement. It takes maybe 10 seconds to revise it online! Of course she also never apologized for wasting so much of my time due to her mistake.
Also, I have wired the whole amount of $13,219.3 on Feb 14. Chase says my wire transfer has been completed on Feb 15. Of course even after multiple emails IFS has been completely non-responsive about whether or not they have received my $13,219.3 wire transfer!!! I thought they do not want to sell you the car unless they can lure you into their financing options. But after reading the horror stories from others here who have gone through their harrowing financing process I guess they just do not give a damn either way.
Their car also had over 250 more miles than their *** ad. Moreover, they have sold me a car the registration of which has expired! To make matters much worse, there are lots of hidden fees: a $90 title fee, a $163 processing fee, and they are charging me $291 for registration even though it is their fault for not keeping up with the vehicle's registration. They intentionally do not provide the out the door price until you say you want to buy the vehicle. Overall I will never ever buy from Avis or IFS again.
IFS would like to acknowledge that we have received the wire transfer. A temporary tag will be sent to you today so please check your spam folder to make sure you receive it. The IFS individual that will be working on your new title and registration has emailed you her contact information in the email with the temporary tag. .
With regard to the registration being expired, any issues with regard to this would need to be discussed directly with Avis as IFS is not responsible for ensuring their registrations are up to date. Even if the registration was not expired, your vehicle would have to be registered in your name and the fees and charges still would have applied.
Your finance advisor was out one day last week, so she tried contacting you back this morning to discuss any of your concerns.
At this point, you should have received everything in order to drive this vehicle. IFS would like to apologize for any delays and will work diligently to get the title and registration complete.

I was informed by a representative, ***, that I was approved for my refinance loan. Upon approval she informed me of the length and interest rate of the loan. She also assumed that I would sign up for GAP coverage and purchase an extended warranty... Building it into the cost, deceptively, when that is not a requirement for approval. I later found out after speaking with another representative for ***.com. I emailed lea my docunentation and informed her I would not be purchasing the addittional warranty or GAP coverage. She then called back and informed me we could not proceed with the loan, because I was not purchasing the GAP coverage or the extended warranty. I also did not want a 72 month agreement, that was also not a requirement. The representative, canceled our agreement because I was taking from a commission she would recieve. Worst customer service ever, go through a legitimate bank not this company.
Mr.,
IFS has reviewed your account information including all the calls. As noted in the final call, your advisor stated that your loan amount requested without GAP coverage was below our lender's minimum limit. Since you didn’t want GAP coverage, you didn’t want to move forward with the transaction. We are sorry for any confusion. However, your loan was closed as it was below our lender's limit, not because you did not want an ancillary product.
