I wanted to refi my car, and IFS came thru for me. Samantha P was a great help; really patient while we worked through all the issues, and always promptly responded. The result will save me Thousands of $$, and I'm glad I made the decision to contact them. Way to go!
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your kind words and your business!
I planned to purchase a 2016 Volvo XC 90 from Avis Car Sales (through Innovative Funding Services (IFS)). I worked with *** (to find the vehicle), *** (to purchase the vehicle), and also spoke to *** (to help resolve my issue).
I rented a black Volvo XC 90 from Avis Car Sales on September 27, 2017. The car had not been detailed, which I did not think would be an issue at the time - there were what appeared to be multiptle handprints on the side of the car, like someone with greasy hands had touched the car. I worked with *** to settle on a fair price given the condition of the vehicle and we agreed on a $41,800.00 price. I was moving forward with the purchase on September 29, 2017 at that price.
On October, 3, 2017 I took the vehicle to be washed and when they were finished washing the car, I noticed that there were still handprints on the side of the car. I asked the carwash worker to take a look and he stated that the handprints were below the clearcoat and could not be removed with a carwash, that the car would need to probably be repainted to remove them. I called *** and left a message detailing the issue and asking him for advice on how to proceed.
*** called me back over the phone on October 6 and he advised me against purchasing the vehicle because he had just sold a volvo with paint issues (he said something about vulgarities being written on the car) and that repainting volvos were expensive. He thought it would be better that we try to get a different vehicle. He assured me that he would be able to get the rental charges ($76/day) removed. I appreciated ***’s genuineness and I took his advice and returned the vehicle to Avis on October 7, 2017. At that time I was charged $1089.23 from Avis.
I called *** and left a voicemail explaining the charges and asking him what I needed to do to proceed. I (and ***) thought that another Volvo xc90 would be available, but one never came available. *** emailed me on October 10 that he was working to get my issue resolved - that was the last time I heard from him via email. I reached out again via email October 20, 2017, November 8, 2017, and December 19, 2017 without response from ***. We talked various times on the phone - I can pull my phone records to see dates, if needed. ***, at one time, stated that he had talked to a supervisor and that he thought maybe I would need to pay for 3 days of the rental, but that they could get the rest of the charges removed. I told *** that, while I would prefer to be reimbursed completely, I would agree to that resolution. I never received a credit or anything, though.
I then called IFS on December 27, 2017 and explained the situation to a colleague of ***’s (*** was not in the office) named ***. He stated that he would try to help get me my refund and talk to his manager. I forwarded my email exchange with *** to *** so he would have more information to help try to get me my refund. I never heard back from *** so I followed up with him on January 30, 2018 and March 9, 2018 without response.
I called IFS again in the beginning of May and talked to *** again. I explained everything to her and she pulled up my file and said she was going to work to get this resolved. I never heard back and I followed up with her via email on May, 24, 2018, again without response.
This has been a very frustrating experience - having to reach out numerous times to different people only to not have anyone respond with a resolution.
Sorry for any confusion with regard to this transaction. Since IFS only assists customers with purchasing Avis vehicle, IFS has had to work on your behalf to get Avis to refund you any fees or charges relating to the rental of the Volvo. According to Avis and their corporate office, an adjustment was made for a refund of 3 days rental. Because the adjustment is older, Avis is unable to give us an exact date of the refund. At this time, any additional or questions should be submitted directly to Avis as the vehicle was considered a rental. Please contact our Avis Representatives *** at *** or *** at ***. Thanks.

I was very upset about the way Kia dealer tried to do business with me so talked directly with Kia finance. Since PA does not allow you to buy directly from them, they recommended IFS. Khoi was really great to work with and everything was really simple. The interest rate was way better than the dealership so I can say all worked out great in my case. He took the time to answer all of my questions, ran all scenarios I gave him so at the end was happy to do business with them. Thank you Khoi! My wife is really happy to keep her car.
Illie,
Thank you so much for your comments. IFS really appreciates the feed back. We hope your wife enjoys the car.

Hi, my name is Kevin, I had the occasion to re-finance my very high interest rate auto loan. I was recommended to IFS by Credit Karma and I received a very quick reply from Bradley who then seamlessly took me through the IFS lending process. I was approved within days and I am very happy with the outcome. Bradley and IFS performed beyond my expectations.
Kevin thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We certainly appreciate your review and your business!

Just found out that IFS underpaid the taxes when they managed my lease buy out. Now, they wont return my calls. Poor attention to detail and ghosting customers are not ways to show you care.

I was referred to IFS by Hyundai Motor Finance. My lease was coming to an end and I had decided to purchase my Hyundai. I checked with the dealer that I had leased the car with and they gave me buyout quote. I felt it was too much and so I called back to Hyundai Motor Finance and they referred me to IFS. I worked with Eiji and he made the entire process very smooth. Eiji explained to me every step that I would go thru and broke done all the costs involved in purchasing my leased vehicle. I am very satisfied with IFS and would recommend them to any one.
Linda thank you for sharing your experience. Your recommendation and business is greatly appreciated.
