We contacted Thermo Twin Company due to a major substandard roofing job. A sub-contactor sent by a major construction company, had put a ridge vent on our sunroom roof, among other things. Thermo Twin had taken over the company that had built the sunroom, we turned to them. They really did not have to help us but they gave of their time an acknowledge and did. They guided us in what to look for when the roof repair crew came and told us the proper way the ridge of the sunroom should be protected and shingled. Our worst fear was the roof panels were cut into and they told us it might be alright, if the panels still meet certain standards and we were told those standards. The panels were not cut but we were ready, armed with the information Thermo Twin gave us. We can not thank you enough.

If this is indeed your policy it should be listed on the website. The fact that I see my check as deposited, no holds and not able to see the money in there means that you guys have the money but not releasing it.Either you change your policy to fix that, or somehow have it clearly marked in the website somehow. Not everyone is going to submit a Revdex.com complaint in that regards, this is a fishy practice to do such thing.
Regards,
[redacted]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I would like to add that corresponding pending deposits were not acknowledged in the banks response, nor was the fact that their advertised 24-hour Grace only applies if they choose to allow an overdraft rather than charging the $37.50 and declining the charge. I appreciate the resolution to the specific charge, but find their policy on this deceptive.
Regards,
[redacted]
[redacted] [redacted] [redacted]
I'm writing in response to the complaint you filed with the Better...
Business Bureau ("Revdex.com")
regarding your checking account ending in [redacted] held with The Huntington National Bank
("Huntington"). Huntington received this matter on November 14, 2014, for review.
Our records indicate that you elected to "Opt In" to the Debit Overdraft Service for payment of
ATM and one-time debit card transactions on February 21, 201 3. This means even if there is
not enough money in your account to cover a transaction presented to us, we may pay it and
cause an overdraft on your account that could result in overdraft fees being charged to your
account.
Because we appreciate your business and we realize you feel that 24-Hour race" was not
clearly explained to you, please note the following information about 24 Hour race@:
When you overdraw your checking account, 24 Hour race@ gives you until the financial
cut-off time on the next business day to make a deposit to cover the overdraft amount,
plus any current amounts that must be paid.
Example: If the account is overdrawn by $1 00, and a transaction for $1 00 will post to
your account on the same day, a $200 deposit must be made by the cut-off time. Your
account must have a balance of zero or higher at end of day.
A transaction is any of the following: cash withdrawals, debit card transaction, electronic
debit (ACH) or personal checks that are presented to Huntington.
A deposit to correct the overdraft (as described above) must be made by the applicable financial
cut-off time on the next business day. Financial cut-off times vary based on how/where you
make the deposit. . Each branch has a local cut-. off time posted. [redacted]
We have confirmed that your checking account was closed on August 15,2013, owing a
balance of $263.08. On June 21,201 3, we issued a courtesy refund of $75.00 for two overdraft
fees of $37.50. As a courtesy, on November 24,2014,l have credited your checking account
the three Overdraft fees of $37.50 and four extended overdraft fees of $25.00, totaling $21 2.50,
leaving a balance owed in the amount of $50.58. Please contact our collections department at
