[This is not a reasonable solution for any conscientious consumerThis dealership continues to foster mistrust and set off red flagsI see no willingness on their part to try to redeem themselvesThey have never appropriately addressed the most critical issues at hand that would welcome me to their dealership:
1) What are the accurate breakdowns & OTD prices for the vehicles, if not what I offered, that was NEVER accepted?
2) What are the correct DMV/gov’t fees paid on the vehicles and why did they change?
3) Are any of the vehicles I initially inquired about still available?
4) What law requires them to run a credit report on a buyout because the Patriot Act does not apply?
5) What other vehicles do they have that are comparable or better than the one I inquired about that was later said to be sold?
There has been no denial and no defense that the only OTD breakdowns I was sent do not balance and are without meritThat is clear, factual, in writing and undisputed
An invitation to their dealership after privately being told to go buy elsewhere, on a now flat public promise that they will do better is unreliableA more promising start or offer would have been to provide the answers to the above #1-issues and concernsI see #is not even a consideration for them
The latest response is not a viable solution for me to travel 1+ hour on blind trust to a dealership that has yet to provide pertinent business answers & information and correct pricing? I understand they are trying to discourage me as a cash buyerI understand they are not interested in working with cash buyers, we’re bad customers to themI’m certain they are working vigorously to sell those Jeeps to buyers who will finance and not notice the add-ons, hidden and undisclosed fees to increase their margin and negate the discountThey have persisted in stalling me as a cash buyer fully aware I do refuse to go to their dealership over hour away without full disclosure and transparency of important information and correct pricing agreed to in writing beforehand.]

The response is evasive and deflective of the issue at handRather than correcting and addressing the torts committed by this business they divert the topic to a *** review of a different dealershipThey did this via email as well, rather than providing answers they redirected a question to something elseSecondly, purchasing a car is NOT as simple as just showing up especially with the way many dealerships (this one included) & salesmen choose to operateHowever, good professional dealerships can make it a simple process by simply answering the consumers questions, providing an honest breakdown and OTD pricing correctly, the first timeAlbeit, when the intent and practice of a business is to NOT honor their advertised pricing and discourage cash buyers it is evident in the tactics and behaviors I experienced from this dealershipIt’s obvious just showing up would have been an even greater waste of my time and energies and those left hanging with me who were prepared to give me a ride to the dealership
You are in a business where presenting a breakdown and OTD price is done multiple times a day, so you have no excuse for not being proficient at itWhy did you not address that? When I brought the discrepancies to your attention to correct, you again manipulated figures that did not balanceWhy didn’t you address that? Instead, you were out of excuses and chose to send a private message letting me know a savvy consumer who asks questions is unwelcomed as your customerNow, you say you had concern I would be a bad customer (Bad customer to you = one who can add, asks pertinent business questions, gets the deal straight and price in writing before making a long trip to the dealership, points out discrepancies, and affords professionals an opportunity to correct a situation)I get you very clearly and the type of bad business you representBut as stated, was never about wanting to do business with “you,” for me it was about purchasing a vehicle at a reasonable priceBut you did everything you could to prevent that because the price you advertised was only a lure and NEVER intended to be sold at that price and especially not to a cash buyerBottomline, you don’t get to do that and not be held accountable and at the very least exposed

The major brand car lot sold a car that was absolutely unsafe and should never have been allowed to leave the lotWhen the salesman (who admitted it was his first sale) was asked about the check engine light, he flat out LIED as to the reasonI purchased a vehicle from a car lot and not a private seller specifically for a safe vehicle and honest salesman, both of these being points of failure for this dealLike I said in my original complaint, I would NEVER purchase a vehicle for $that needed immediate repair for safety issues, especially when that repair is $1000. Because of these reasons, the dealer should be responsible for 100% of the cost of the repair.

To quote the customer in their exact terms: "We started off getting the truck's oil changed at the dealership until one of the services employees lied and took advantage of me about the service of the truckSince then we went to another facility to get the services done on our truck since we could no longer trust the employees at the Dodge Huntington Beach service department, therefore we had no knowledge of the mandatory year inspection to continue the lifetime warranty."I do not know how to respond beyond what I have already said. If the customer wants to discuss this further to help better understand, please call the GM, *** ***, on his cell ***He will do everything within his power to assist

The vehicle work has not been completed, and as such it would be premature to say that I am satisfied as there are still some major components to be installedThe dealerships response also fails to address the other concerns raised in my complaintEspecially how such damage can go un-noticed during one of their QA checks on their own that they were supposed to carry out per what the website says, or the actions by *** BI will update the Revdex.com if the vehicle is repaired to my satisfaction and if the job is completed
