I received an e-mail from Ms. [redacted] asking that we refund her 80% of the cost of the unit instead of my offer of 75%. 
I agreed to 80% refund of the unit cost.  I offered to send a check in the amount of $600 and asked that she have the unit disconnected for our local delivery company to pick it up at the same time they deliver the check to her.

 The "repairman" showed up early which was great.  No phone call.  States he did not know the problem nor model to service and did not have the parts on his truck!  All of this info was given to dispatch when the original visit was scheduled along with our address which he had.. The resolution was to get the part over-night to us and my husband will install the part.

Hello again  I will search for a copy but my Builder bought the first Dishwasher then GE Replaced that one with a different model which I do not have the receipt for but I think I got a copy from [redacted] at [redacted] Utah at some stage..let me get back to you on this after I have done some digging as it may be in Utah and not here in Australia in my files.thank you for responding much appreciated. regards [redacted]  I can always call you via Skype if need be

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.A GE representative contacted me today and left a voicemail stating roughly what was written in their previous Revdex.com response plus that I should increase the temperature of my water heater from default setting of 120F to a higher temperature to get a higher temperature of water, which is categorically unacceptable and rejected. Basically, GE knew the washer did not produce HOT water YET they still manufactured, marketed, distributed, and sold the washer to their dealers as a washer that produces HOT water based on the word [HOT] printed on the washer dashboard with no other signs, words, manuals attached to the washer at the location of sale stating anything about the washer being unable to produce HOT water. Not until the consumer actually purchases and has the washer delivered and tested is when he/she would discover that this washer is unable to produce HOT water. GE refuses to take back the washer and provide a full refund, yet they continue to deceive the consumer that this washer produces HOT water.  The federal, state, and dictionary definition of HOT water is 120F. This washer barely produces 80F water temperature.As of this time, this issue has not been resolved. A refund and ceasing to market the washer as producing HOT water has not been offered nor fulfilled.

they are patching it together. this a brand new unit . I believe with the only fair repair is to replace it with the past problems and not being able to use the unit but for about 2 weeks since it was new
