We did install the building for *** *** *** on 1/1/15. We were contacted about the landscape timbers that were damaged on the side of the driveway. Mrs *** sent in photos of the materials that were damaged. Our contract does read that "We are entering your property at your
request. Therefore, we can not be held responsible for any damages that may occur to your property". With that being said, Mrs *** did call in and speak with the Scheduling Manager, and he did agree to split the difference in what she was asking for in compensation. He felt it was a more than acceptable compromise, since the timbers appeared to be quite old with signs of dry rot. We were told that was unacceptable, and we hadn't heard from them since that time. We did try and reach a resolution to this complaint prior to it reaching the Revdex.com
After speaking with the business he states that he is the manufacture of the structure and the parts are shipped to *** to be builtThe anchors and the braces were purchased, but the customer signed off on the building before the builders left the projectThe business can’t be paid until the work is signed off on as completedNew Mart is not the business that put the structure together, and if something was not attached at the time of the building the customer may want to ask the individual’s that put the structure together about that aspect of the problem
We are installing the customers building today 8/10/
We did encur weather delays for the install of Mr ***s building For his inconveinience, we did give him $off the price of his vertical roof, and a $discount off his building We did end up giving him an additional $disocunt at the completion of install We did agree
to replace his roof sheets when we went back to his area We will gladly honor that agreement, and replace his roof sheets with our crew, or, remove the sheets, and leave new sheets and screws for Mr *** to install We will not however leave the damaged sheets, nor will we agree to refund any money We feel we have tried to accomodate the customer both monetarily with discounts, and given means to solve the issue of damaged sheeting

[As expected, the company still wants to push the blame on the customer and take no responsibility for the issue at hand....no modifications were made to the structure only plastic sheeting was placed on the sides of the unit to keep rain out which would have been no different if they would have closed the sides in will aluminum sheetingand at no time was I told that I would have to obtain a permit before the unit was installed, if I had been told I would have obtained one...So as to the refund of $when should I expect itIt should have already been refunded, since I paid for the item and it was never received, also I want the refund credited back to me in the form of a business check..... ]

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Their is no action proposed in New Mart Builders response to my complaint ID ***I called the installation manager at New mart Builders on 1/2/the day after my building was installed and left him a message he never returned my callI called back on 1/5/and spoke with the installation managerHe apologized for the installers and told me he had received numerous complaints from other customers and knew all about their inappropriate behavior (arriving late for appointments, cursing, drinking, women in the truck with them on the job site, arguing ) all of this resulted in delay's with the installation of the buildingHe also told me they were arrested at a *** after they left my house on 1/1/15. He told me the installer was terminated and normally when a customer has property damages they are taken out of the installers check however, in my case they could not do this because the installer had already been paid and no longer worked for them. I told the installation manager this was unacceptableI did not hire these incompetent installers New Mart Builders did. I hired New Mart Builders to install my carport/combo and I already have two other carports on my property and have never experienced such unprofessional behavior by installers. He finally told me to send him pictures of the damages and he would review them and get back in touch with me. I emailed the pictures of the damages along with a very conservative amount to repair the damages. The installation manager never responded to my emailI called him back on 1/13/and the first time he came to the phone and hung up on meI called right back and talked to him this timeHe told me he had reviewed the photos and agreed to pay me a lesser amount and ask me if I would accept itI told him noMy estimate was very conservativeI did not include any damages to my yard only the drivewayHe told me he would get a check issued to me that week for the amount I requested and I should receive it the following week which was 1/19/ He also told me this money would be deducted from the installers last check which is strange because on 1/5/he told me they had already been paid and terminated. Of course, no check was mailed and by this time I am starting to see how New Mart Builders operatesThey keep ignoring their customers hoping the complaints will just disappear. I understand what is written in the contract I signedI honored the contract by paying for my carport in fullI could have put a stop payment on the check and deducted my damages up front but I'm not that type of personI honor my commitments unlike New Mart Builders. The damages caused by these installers were due to negligence. This was not behavior for installers. I have a foot wide drive way and they could not back out a pitruck and trailer without going all in the yard on both sides of the driveway? The only way this claim will be resolved is for me to receive a check for the damages I incurred.

We have reviewed *** *** order She did not purchase braces They are not listed anywhere on the order she signed In the interest of customer service our scheduling manager agreed to put standard braces on at no charge There is an order in her name in our system
Our scheduling department will call her when we have work in her area Again she did not purchase the braces she refers to in her complaint We are going to give them to her at no charge She will have to wait until we have scheduled work in her area
We do apologize for your inconvenience. We have made changes at the lot in Pennsylvania to address issues and concerns of our customers
I ordered an open traditional barn from Newmart Builders and they delivered it within weeks like they had promised Only one piece was missing and they said they would be back in weeks to finish the barn They came back in exactly weeks with the missing piece and finished the barn They called and said what time they would be here and they were on time each time they came Their work was exceptionally outstanding and the man crew worked together very well and worked very hard all day long I would give them a star rating and would recommend them to anyone
We do not have any record of a call from the customer prior to January and again in February. The customer voided any warranty on his building by drastically altering it. The customer has attached insulation to the roof and sides of his building, run electric throughout the building,
enclosed the end of his building, hung two after market doors on the end of the building, and has two garage door openers hanging off of one bow in the building. We can not do anything to the inside of the building. We will out of courtesy, look at the roof on the outside of the building, but there is no guarantee that the leak can be fixed. Since other work has been done to the building, it could have been damaged during the installation of the other modifications that have been made
We have scheduled a crew to be at the customers home on Monday 6/20/to address the leak in his building and pickup the trash left at the site

Customer contacted Revdex.com because the business was pushed the repair date back until the 10th, and the contractor that called did not know anything about the roll up door that needed to be repairedThe customer is concerned they will come and not be prepared to repair the items needed and that the business has once again pushed the repair date back another week
When I ordered the building I was told it would take six to eight weeks to be builtI figure eight to tenThe building was up eight weeks and one day after I ordered itVery pleased with thatThe building would have been built earlier but I had a death in the familyI had to go out of townNewmart Builders worked with me and the building was up less than five days after I returnedThe building itself is very well builtThe material are of high qualityThe crew that assembled the building ensured the work was done rightVery hard workersThe first day lasted ten hours and these guys didn't stopI was getting tired watching them
When our installer arrived at ** *** location to install the building, he informed him that he did in fact get the deposit refunded from the dealer, so we removed the frame that was there, and consider the matter closed
We did receive a load of rollup doors that were damaged from the manufacture. We do have the customer in the run to PA the week of January 2, to replace the door, and fix the trim that has come off. We will be contacting the customer with a day and time of our arrival next week once
we have the run together. We apologize for the inconvenience, and the length of time to repair
Shawn provided an update to Revdex.com regarding this caseAt this time the customer has been confirmed for the 10th of January between 7-and two pieces of trim are being delivered and the issues with the trim and the door and set to be resolved at that time
