Someone using Stash removed $650 from my account fraudulently. My bank advised my husband and I to call Stash and confirm that an account wasn't set up using our names or account. My husband called and was treated fairly and found them helpful. They told him that all that was needed was for me to call and confirm that I had not set up an account. I did so only to be met with hostility and requests to send photos of my statements to them. Clearly their security is garbage so I understandably was uncomfortable with this and requested several times to speak with their fraud department or supervisor. I was not transferred to anyone I asked to speak to and the woman on the phone asked me "are you done ma'am" when I expressed my upset about this matter. $650 gone at Christmas and they were as unhelpful as could be to a victim of fraud.

I established the account several years ago with my Chase account. I closed my Chase account in favor of a credit union account. Stash would not interface with that account. Stash refuses to withdraw my existing funds to that account. I have established a new checking account, for the purpose of getting my funds withdrawn, with Ally. Stash's site erroneously claims I do not know my Ally bank account login and states that I am unable to manually add routing and account numbers. I have sent emails without response and there is no customer service number.

When I try to withdraw money from the account it tells me that I need to link my bank account. It provides me an option to connect to my bank of america account. It find the account but will not connect to it. I try manually connecting with the routing # and account # but it doesn't work.

I loaded money to my stash account with money from my bank account. This was my secondary bank account that I was trying to empty and close. Well they double dipped and charged me twice and they refuse to pay the bank fees accrued from their mistake. They even sent me a email and apologized for the problem that they screwed up stating:

We're sorry! You aren't seeing double! Our Custodian *** duplicated a transfer from Monday, November ***, 2019.

Given the seriousness of this issue, we are reversing the duplicate transfer as early as today. We expect your money to hit your account tonight or first thing Monday, December ***, 2019.

Rest assured, Stash will work to determine if you incurred additional fees and reimburse them. Thank you for your patience.

I have emailed them several times with no response. My bank account is negative and have been charged 2 overdraft fees due to their mess up. I will be taking them to small claims court soon if they do not respond. I am very disappointed and irate that the way they handled this issue.

I loaded money to my stash account with money from my bank account. This was my secondary bank account that I was trying to empty and close. My stash account was fraudulent. Someone got into my bank account and set up a stash account with their own name and stole around $500 from me. I went back and forth with Geeta, a customer service staff for one full week. She agreed that my account was fraudulent, she agreed that I had been hacked through their own company, but she refused to offer a solution. They informed me that the money was still locked away in the account and the thief will not have access to it, they also told me because my name is not technically on the account that I will not be getting my money back. This is very confusing because obviously my name is not on the account, I was hacked. But instead of changing the name on the account to my own so that I can have access to my stolen funds, the refused. Stash capital allowed someone else, who is clearly not on my bank account, with zero authorization from the bank account holder, to sign up a fraudulent account and steal from me. Stash is holding on to my money and refusing to give me access to it although I was able to prove all the transactions were coming from my bank account without authorization. I can not believe that a company would allow someone to get taken advantage of like this, Stash should be doing everything they can to make this right and give me my money back, this is no way to treat people or run a business, I am disgusted with how stash is handling this very serious situation. The way I see it, stash is also guilty in this crime and is setting a precedence that thieves and frauds everywhere are safe with Stash Capital.

I have $600 invested and when I needed help with customer service, they closed my account and cashed out my stock. I am trying to figure out how to file a complaint with proper overseeing government authority. They literally closed my entire account of stock and cashed them out when I said to close the debit card account. They have cost me money and time. A horrible experience
