Please be advised that rates and availability change constantly. Rates can change by the day, hour, and even minute. We do indicate on our site that rates are not guaranteed until purchased.
Additionally, there are occasional time lags, which impact true reservation availability. What this means is that a hotel's listed reservation and/or rate may not actually be available because they have not refreshed their reservation system database at the time we access it. This time lag is common throughout the travel industry and is not unique to us. While it is rare that this happens, it appears that due to changing inventory, the reservations and rates we offered were no longer available at the time we attempted to book them.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in
our previous correspondence. Attached hereto is a copy of the consumer’s

I am rejecting this response because: it is not accurate. My concern is the lack of "good faith" on the part of Priceline. First of all, I purchased this hotel room from [redacted], of which I have been a long-standing member. I was not aware at the time that this was a Priceline hotel purchase (see confirmation note below from [redacted]).  The reservation is for graduation weekend at the [redacted], so obviously hotels will be expensive.  My issue is that I received a confirmation from the hotel (correspondence copied below) that the room was only $120 per night ($23 difference from what I was given by my [redacted]/Priceline confirmation) , which amounted to a $104 difference. I expected to call [redacted] and get this issue straightened out, but instead I was directed to PRICELINE. At no time did I agree to pay a 20% profit to Priceline for this room. To find out that I was indeed paying a $100 profit to a company (other than [redacted]) was misleading and unfair. I am asking to only pay for the service that was ordered, not an exorbitant usury fee. I believe that Priceline is operating in bad faith.To be clear, once I was told that I could not be given the $104 refund, I asked that the reservation be canceled and I be awarded a full refund for this unfair practice. I was also told this was not possible. If the mistake was not mine, but was made by Priceline--a company with which I was not informed was handling my transaction--I should be given the opportunity to receive a full refund or a refund of the difference in costs. I booked this room in October 2014.  This company is making no effort to rectify its own mistake.

Our records indicate that the selected bed type is 1 Queen Bed. Any requests for a different bed type would be at the discretion of your confirmed hotel. Please note that we have reached out to the Larkspur Landing Campbell on your behalf and they advised that you would have to check upon arrival to see if rooms with two beds are available. However, it is not guaranteed and upgrade fees might be payable directly to the hotel. I am rejecting this response because: I do not accept the response because it fails to address this point that the switch from rejecting my bid to the offer for a property with a base price of 143 was not visible on the screen. Only the bottom half of the screen was visible and while the website always asks the buyer to slide an acknowledgement tab to confirm the buyer knows what they are accepting/buying, they willfully omit this to then show a request for the same info that was just entered. Unwittingly, a person thinks they didn't put in their initials or CC code in correctly when in fact, they are accepting a purchase for an amount not seen. It is bait and switch and while Priceline can claim that a full screen can be seen on their end, that is not the case on a smartphone. The crux is that they do not ask for the same acknowledgment in all operations. I also reject their response because Priceline doesn't understand the point of my claim. They think that if they present a "savings" over an over inflated market price, that the consumer should just shut up and be happy, even if they were tricked into a purchase. Thousands of dollars spent on successful and mutually understood transactions means nothing to this company, given their inadequate response. The app is faulty to the point of deception.

consumer, disclosed the departure date of Thursday, June 2, 2016, and return
