We were charged for the hotel room but never received a confirmation email. I called the hotel and they never received our reservations. Snaptravel stole our money. We were charged but never received the service we were charged for.
Hi ***,
Can you send us the Hotel information and the check-in/check out dates, so we can see which booking you are referring to.
Regards,
Snaptravel Operations
I was given a refund in the form of credits to use on future reservations in the amount of $1,007. It was in my snaptravel profile. I went to book 2 hotel rooms for Florida for December 29,2020-Jan 3, 2021, and had applied the entire credit to both transactions, each room had to be booked separately. One room total came out of $514. So I was able to apply the credit in full toward 1 room and have a small balance left on the 2nd room (roughly $20 is what it should be).
I went to look at my credit card statement and saw that I have been charged for the FULL amount of both rooms, AND went back to my snaptravel profile and have ZERO credits left. So they took my credits and also charged me in full for both transactions!
I have correspondence with snaptravel where someone merely answered me for about 2 minutes and told me that my travel credits were pending and if I liked, he would issue them again for future travel and completely disregarded that I had already applied them to the 2 bookings. I told him I already applied the entire credit to my purchases and I had no idea what on earth he was talking about. They have not responded to me since. I tried to call, and the phone number just keeps ringing and ringing, and then will just hang up on you.
Hi ***,
Thank you for reaching out to us. As your booking is refundable, it has been cancelled and we've issued a full refund to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take up to 3-5 business days for your financial institution to process this and for the refund transaction to reflect on your bank statement.Best,Snaptravel Operations
I booked with SnapTravel to go to *** World March 20-22. Due to Covid 19 our plans had to change because *** Closed the week prior.
I requested a refund For the hotel stay as *** was closed indefinitely. My room was refundable up until March 12th. We did not find out *** Cleese’s until the 14th. Snap Travel did not refund my $146. I put in a dispute with my bank and they said the hotel stay was non refundable and sent in falsified evidence from their website not my original booking information saying the rooms were non refundable. It is a shame that a company would be allowed to take advantage of people during a pandemic that was beyond our control. SnapTravel should be required to refund all bookings that had to be cancelled due to Covid 19. The company should also be penalized and make to pay everyone they scammed out of their money.
Hi ***,
Since you initiated the chargeback process, we cannot access your account and any resolution must continue through your financial institution. The bank's decision is final and we will not be taking any further action. We appreciate your understanding.Regards,Snaptravel Operations
Because zero stars is not an option, I humbly submit a one star review for Snaptravel. In light of the COVID-19 situation, I attempted numerous times to get a refund. In return I was given a *** email on three different occassions. It has been 30 days since my first request and no action has been taken. The *** number listed gives another canned response, asking customers to view the website, which is places you in the cycle of apathetic emails with no action.
This travel agency has a COVID 19 policy to negotiate refunds with hotels and issue customers credits for refunded reservations. I cancelled a $314.10 reservation for *** in Sylmar, CA due to the state being shut down. We were planning on visiting Universal Studios but it had closed, and all of the restaurants had closed. I confirmed with *** on 3/16/2020 that they cancelled my reservation and would not be charging for anything. On 4/28/2020 Snaptravel sent me a message saying they gave me $314.10 in snaptravel credit, but they didn't actually apply it to my Snaptravel account. The only way to contact a human is to text "agent" to their Facebook account. They have no phone number or email for customer service.
The company has made a completely bogus claim that the hotel wouldn't refund them the $314.10, and therefore they cannot give me a credit. I confirmed with the hotel that they never even charged Snaptravel the $314.10 since I cancelled days before the reservation. Snaptravel continues to deny me a credit even though they were never charged by the hotel, and even though their policy requires it.
Hi ***, thanks for reaching out to us. For us to better assist, can you please kindly provide us with your 7-digit Snaptravel Order ID? And or we suggest you reach back out to our Head Office via the cancellation request submission email thread. Thank you.
Hotel refunded me but snaptravel still will not return my money or emails
I reserved a room through snaptravel may 1 2020 I was on a trip to visit a family member (the next evening) I drove over 5 hours there arriving at or around 2/3 am hoping to grab a little sleep before evening and drive home when I arrived I was informed that the suite with a king size bed jacuzzi also a smoking room (fyi I do smoke) I reserved almost $90 was not available and he did not understand why they let me pay and reserve this room being when he arrived for his shift at 3pm the room was already booked for that day that the only available room there was a room that had 2 beds not 1 was non smoking and obviously was a regular basic room (not a suite) I informed the desk worker that room just would not accommodate me so he informed me he canceled my reservation being the room I wanted was not open for me and that I definitely would not be charged for this . Well I checked with my bank and snaptravel had already charged me it was pending at time so I informed him of this he told me it was only a hold as long as I did not check in that it would be released back to my account so I had to drive back home with no sleep over 5 more hours falling asleep the whole way back didn't get to visit with my family and I checked back 2 days later to see this transaction was no longer pending but had gone through snaptravel charged me for this reservation so I called them was told that in 10 minutes some one would call me back never got a call back waited 3 days called them back for the lady to tell me they called me back and I just didn't answer their call which is not true I waited beside my phone and never got a call then she goes on to tell me about how they supposedly contacted the hotels manager and he informed them that I did not call them nor show up period on the date of my reservation that the only way to get a refund was to have the manager call them back and state other wise so I called the manager who informs me that he has not 1 time spoken with anyone from said company that what I was told was false and that this hotel which was super 8 did cancel my reservation and they did not charge me absolutely nothing that I was being charged by solely the company snaptravel he gave me his name and his number he told me to call them back and have them call him and he would inform them of the actual facts regarding this reservation so I call snap travel again. To be told no they will not call him so I called him on 3 way the employee heard everything that happened and still refused my refund now he says the only way for me to get a refund is if the manager emails this information to them no longer is it if he contacts them now when I call no answer I called 33 times and nothing coincidence that I borrowed my daughter's phone called them got a answer in seconds well called again eith daughter phone no answer borrowed husbands phone same case answered within seconds they are evading me to keep from having to issue a refund on this reservation and also changing everything around at first he needed to talk to the manager but refused to call him I called manager 3 way he heard everything then refused to accept this as well now he can no longer speak with the manager but the manager has to email him this or I can not recieve a refund this is very unfair and un business like to say the least I will never give my hard earned money nor business to this company ever again.
Hi ***, we're sorry to hear about this! To confirm, our team has already been in touch with you and helped to resolve by issuing a refund for the full booking amount on 05/10/2020. The refund should already reflect on your bank statement. Should you require further assistance, please reach back out to us. Thank you.
Incredibly bad experience! I was unable to get to my hotel due to cancelled flights and stay-at-home orders. Snaptravel told me that I would get a credit if I filled out a form. About two days before my stay *** processed my cancellation. Then the waiting began. After nearly 8 weeks *** finally replied to me. Despite the fact that they cancelled my hotel they are refusing to give me a refund or a credit of any kind. It's really sad that a business would take advantage of a pandemic make large profits.
A+?!? Seriously? What is that about?!? This company is a joke. I was double charged for a recent stay and getting a hold of anyone to get a refund has been so daunting. When I finally did (through *** messenger), they informed me that it was my responsibility to provide a receipt. I'm sorry, I threw that away when I thought your company actually did their job... I sent a screenshot of my bank account showing the double charge, and then I was passed off to another agent... Who told me that I had to provide a receipt. Meanwhile, an hour and 45 minutes has passed without anything even close to a resolution.
DO. NOT. RECOMMEND. At ALL.
I made a reservation that was reimbursable. COVID-19 happened and I contacted the hotel. They were going cancel the reservation, however they noted that SnapTravel booked it, so they said I’d need to contact them. I contacted them over a MONTH before the check in date. Mid March, check in was late April. I have yet to get any resolution It is now almost mid May! . They send emails saying they are trying to contact the Hotel (which is a mainstream hotel) and have not been able to. It is now well after the reservation date! I went ahead and contacted my credit card company to process the dispute on my behalf since they have done nothing. An email from them today told me to contact the hotel and get cancellation authorization and then go back to SnapTravel and let them know. The reservation was 13 days ago!!! It already passed!! Also why do I need to do their job? They should not be in business. For some reason they are unwilling to process a refund and are looking for any excuse. I know COVID 19 has been hard and that is why I was patient. I am no long accepting these excuses.
I used this company to book out spring break vacation. Because of the convos-19 beaches where closed and states were closed for staying at home orders in place. I filled at a form and called for a refund or credit and haven’t heard back. I called several times they told me wait 30 days and then told me to send emails which I sent three times. Still have not heard any thing back from any one. I called today cause we were suppose to hear some thing back by April 30th, 2020 it’s now May 7th and still no word. I will not use this company again cause they don’t solve issues that’s not even our fault and they never get in touch with you when they are suppose to. I would advise people to not use them in the future since they have no one that can help you. They all say it’s a corporate thing to handle issues but you can’t call corporate and don’t hear back from them.
Hi ***,
Once you initiate the chargeback process, we cannot access your account and any resolution must continue through your financial institution. Your bank has already withdrawn the funds from our account so we are not able to take any further action. We suggest that you get in touch with your bank for any updates on the status of your dispute. We appreciate your understanding.Regards,Snaptravel Operations
I booked a reservation at the *** in Natick Ma 01760 for 05/01/20. Since I work for an essential business, I sometimes would need to spend a night or two at this hotel due to the projections at work. Unfortunately, on 05/01/20 around 2:30 pm everyone received word that someone tested positive for the virus and whoever worked closely with that individual needed to go home effective immediately. I immediately called the Hotel and cancelled the reservation and they said they would cancel it with no penalties and they would have called SnapTravel for me to refunded. I reached out to SnapTravel and spoke to two different associates and did exactly what was instructed of me. After doing so, I received an email stating that I was not eligible for a refund.
Thank you for your response. You are welcome to submit hotel documentation to help us negotiate on your behalf. Should you choose to do so, written approval must be from a hotel's general manager or reservation department and include:Your name, checkin and checkout datesConfirmation that the booking has been cancelled free of charge with no other penalties A statement that the booking can be refunded in fullName, signature and contact information of the approving party
Any general documentation (e.g., hotel policies posted online) will not be accepted as we are a third party booking site and subject to different rules with our hotel and travel partners. Thank you for understanding.Regards,Snaptravel Operations
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will reach out to the hotel to get a letter explaining that my reservation was cancelled with no penalties. Also, where should I send this letter?
Sincerely
I booked a two night stay at the *** for May 17th-19th for $454.04. Due to a Coronavirus-related, we can not leave the State because my wife is in the Medical field helping with this virus, and the Conference in Phoenix has been postponed, I notified SnapTravel so they could cancel the reservation and process a refund of either money or hotel credits based on the Corona virus cancellation policy of the Holiday Inn Hotel chain up to June 30, 2020. I was informed that the cut off for SnapTravel is May 15 and was basically told to wait and see if SnapTravel adjusts its policy. I am currently a week away from my stay and there is no change in their response. So frustrating!
This is a terrible stance against us in the medical field.
I can't believe this company has an A+ rating with so many customer complaints. I do understand that we are in uncharted times, but the way business respond shows their true Character.
We canceled reservations with snaptravel during the covid-19 outbreak. in fact the hotel closed. I have a copy of the receipt where priceline (who snaptravel used) was credited the full refund for our stay. snaptravel will not refund our stay. snaptravel incurred zero charges however; they refuse refund.

Hi ***, we apologize for the troubles caused. We have notified you that you may submit hotel documentation, but unfortunately any general documentation (e.g., hotel policies posted online or an invoice) will not be accepted as we are a third party booking site and subject to different rules with our hotel and travel partners. Should you be able to provide valid hotel documentation, we are more than happy to proceed with a refund.

I was supposed to be attending a wedding in New Orleans on the weekend of April 4th 2020. My wife is pregnant and due to the coronavirus the entire city of New Orleans was basically shut down. I canceled the reservation due to health and safety concerns for myself but, also, my high risk pregnant wife. The email I received back said it could take 30+ days so I gave them 30 days and they let me know there is nothing they can do and I'll be losing out on the money. Then they told me that I could call the hotel and try to get a something in writing that says they canceled it and then they can go back to their travel partner to negotiate again.
All in all, it would have been much easier to book through the hotel for an extra $100 or whatever it was it instead of dealing with 2 different 3rd party partners.
Hi there, can you please send us your booking confirmation number to take a look into this? If your case hasn't been resolved yet then we will update you once we have a resolution for you as we are still negotiating with our travel partners.
Thank you,
Snaptravel Operations
I agree 100% with Will J. I can't believe this company has an A+ rating with so many customer complaints. It makes me question the credibility of the Revdex.com. My experience is like so many others. I sought to cancel my reservation by the refund deadline, but got the message online that I didn't qualify for a refund. I've spent more than 60 minutes trying to resolve it by text, phone and messenger (simultaneously) and was not able to connect with a human being. This is so extremely unacceptable and infuriating. Needless to say I'll never use SnapTravel again. And I'll be more cautious about relying on Revdex.com.

Hi Scott - thanks for reaching out to us. We've received your cancellation request and are now working to resolve this for you. Please keep in mind that this may take up to 30 business days. We will reach out to you directly once we have a resolution.
Snap Travel has the worse Customer services ever. Due to Covid-19 my trip was canceled because they CLOSED my hotel. Snap Travel has refused to refund me. I have requested that someone contact me by phone several times and to this day and still no call. I keep getting the run around. When you request to speak to a manager or supervisor there is no one available. Snaptravel has the WORSE customer service. My lawyer has tried to contact them and the address provided is incorrect. They keep claiming they refunded me but I haven't seen it. After reading so many bad reviews I even closed my account afraid that they my double charge me. I don't want anything free I just want whats old to me Confirmation Code: *** . Do the right thing for me and many others.
Like others here, I have been unable to get a refund or credit for my booking through Snap Travel. Due to coronavirus, traveling to my destination is not possible. My booking was for May 14-16. With that date almost here, I am concerned about being charged. My first application for a refund was rejected and I am on my second try. At this point it feels like outright theft on their part.
SnapTravel refused to refund my hotel reservation for March 12th - March 16th 2020 after we were unable to stay due to cancellation of event, hotel closure, and stay at home orders in Nevada due to the corona virus. I was told to contact the hotel directly, Treasure Island, Las Vegas, NV, by SnapTravel. The confirmation number given to me by SnapTravel was a third party confirmation number not valid at the hotel and the hotel told me they were unable to give me any information regarding the reservation without a valid confirmation number. I contacted SnapTravel and was told by SnapTravel that they would contact the hotel and request the cancellation fees waived. I requested SnapTravel copy me on the communications between SnapTravel and the hotel, or provide me documentation and I was told this was not possible. I was contact by SnapTravel via messenger that my request had been submitted and could take up to 30-days for resolution. I continued to contact SnapTravel on a weekly basis to check-in on my claim and was told each time to continue to wait. 30+ days later when I pressed the issue with SnapTravel I was contacted, again via messenger, that my claim had been denied. I never received any email confirmation or communication regarding my claim. I contacted SnapTravel via phone requesting proof/documentation that my claim was in fact filed and efforts were made to refund my funds and was offered no assistance. Each time I've contacted SnapTravel the only response to my questions of validity is that a note will be placed in my file. There is no effort to elevate the issue within SnapTravel and customer service provides no options to move the now complaint. I believe that this company took my money ~$500 without providing any service in return. I have no proof or documentation that any efforts were made by SnapTravel to refund my funds or resolve my complaint and believe that in fact none were made.
Hi ***,
As a third party booking company, we can not issue a refund unless it is approved by our travel partner. This is a policy upheld by our partner, and we are not able to make any modifications. After multiple rounds of negotiations, our partner was unwilling to amend the non-refundable nature of the booking. Therefore, we are not be able to grant a refund.
Likewise, we can see that you have already filed a chargeback with your financial institution and they have ruled in our favour. Their decision is final and because of it we will not be taking any further action.Sorry for the tough news and thank you for understanding. Regards,Snaptravel Operations
7th March I made a booking for a hotel in New York (*** at ***. Nights at the hotel (21th-28th March)
12th March President of USA didnt allow entrance of European people to USA due to Covid 19. I am from Spain and I was travelling from Spain.
16th March I filed a form asking for a refund or a voucher to Snaptravel
I dont know when but Snaptravel did a unilateral cancel of the booking
29th April (a month a fifteen days later) They sent me a resolution where Snaptravel says they dont do a refund or voucher. Just lose my money.
Same day I mail the hotel and the general manager of the hotel answered that Snaptravel never reached out to the hotel about this. They did not charge them and They need to give me my money back.
As I see Snaptravel earned money with me, cancel the booking, hotel did not charge anything and I dont have my money back neither a voucher or credits. I have mails of all theese things.

I am rejecting this response because:
New york was on lockdown. The president of the USA didn't allow entrance to European citizen. My flight was cancelled. How can I reach to New york?
As you could see I never cancelled the booking, however the hotel says they didn not charge anything. I have the mail of the hotel.
I paid to Snaptravel.
Snaptravel did not pay to hotel.
Snaptravel has my money because of nothing.
Snaptravel is trying to make a profit off of this pandemic.
Just fraud.
That is unacceptable.
Snaptravel should offer at least a credit, otherwise I will not have any option but taking legal action.
Sincerely
Unfortunately as stated in our previous response, our travel partner rejected the refund request. The non refundable policy is upheld by them not us. As such we cannot issue a refund or credtis to you. We apologize for the inconvenience.
