Samsung has contacted the customer regarding their concerns with their tablet. Samsung understands it is disappointing for any product to fail, whether in-or-out of... warranty. The Limited Warranty on your [redacted] was 12 months, parts and labor, which expired 08/31/2015 based on the information currently on file. Due to the unit is out of warranty, the repair costs are the responsibility of the owner. By you opening the tablet yourself, you void any type of accommodations that could have been offered to you. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When I talked to the agent, I told her the first time I talked to Samsung they wanted to send my husband's phone to Texas and we cannot have this because he works 3rd shift and that leaves me alone at home with my son and if something were to happen I have no means of getting in touch with himAnd, like I explained to her, multiple times, [redacted] does not give out loaner phone, I never asked Samsung to give me a loaner phone, I told her I wanted a replacement because at the time it was within a months time since we have bought the phone and replacing it shouldn't be an issueMy husband cannot go 2+ weeks without a phone just to "maybe" see if they would even fix or make me try and pay for their faulty equipmentI still have the year manufacturer warranty which covers their faulty equipment which is what has happen to the phone which I have explained to the agentI even told her if she wouldn't go two weeks without her phone, she cannot except others to do so as wellI did not hang up on her, she told me if I was not going to send the phone to Texas there was nothing else she was going to doSo SHE ended the callI need his phone replaced due to the manufacturer having a defective equipment out on the marketThe Samsung Galaxy SActive is marketed for its durability and it has not even lived up to it's nameIt cracked in my husbands pocket, being the only thing in there, after weeks of him having itThere are THOUSANDS of other cases like his on the internet trying to fight Samsung to get them to replace their phonesWe are now months into us having the phone and the problem continuesWe need his phone replacedIf they advertise a phone to be as durable as the S7, the cracking in the pocket should not have happenedIt is defective and Samsung needs to take responsibility for their product., Regards, [redacted]

Samsung has reviewed Mr. ***’ claim in regards to his Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge unlocked phone. Our system show the agent handling his claim made several attempts to contact him to discuss the claim. The agent left voice messages and sent emails advising Mr. [redacted] that Samsung needed the... model and serial number for the device in order to validate the warranty for a possible accommodation. The agent sent another reminder email on 7/11/17, however up to date has not received the requested information. Please have Mr. *** reply to the agents email and provide the model and serial number for the device in order to proceed with the claim. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Samsung refused to repair my phone and now it is out of warrantyI have been without a phone for six weeks trying to work with Sprint's Customer Support and Office of the President to no availAs mentioned in my prior complaint, I have had different issues with this phone but they refuse to fix the LCD in order to access the content and delve further into the software and see if there are any manufacturing defectsThey advertised that they put their phones through rigorous testing so they don't break, yet my phone completely stopped working, which is advertisingCase in point, look at the issues they have with the recently released Samsung Note phone that went into flames and weren't' allowed on planesI am very disappointedI recently heard about Credo Mobile who are offering a free Samsung Sedge with a year contract and I refuse to sign up with them because I don't even want a free Samsung phone after the bad experience I have had with my phone and with the service I thank the Revdex.com for trying to help me with this complaint and it's too bad that some businesses don't really care about their customers and retaining them Regards, [redacted] ***

If the phone showed any signs of defects in it's design upon purchase it would need to have been returned to the seller or service provider for exchange or refund If Samsung has no prior knowledge of a defect found we cannot assist in providing a resolution Samsung does not have any history for reports of a separated screenWe do apologize again, however, resolution would need to be provided at the service provider level for replacement optionsThank you

Samsung tries to accommodate our customers with a resolution to the best of our ability on a case by case review However in Mrs [redacted] case, based on the technicians report from the previous repair; reference Txt# [redacted] , the device was deemed rooted which automatically voids Samsung’s warranty Mrs [redacted] was previously advised that due to the device being rooted, Samsung will not be able to proceed with any repair or accommodation at this time Regrettably, Samsung’s stance remains the same No accommodation can be made for this claim Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced with this case
