Great company! I do business with them on a regular basis. My orders have always arrived quickly and are just as described.

This company has the worst delivery status I have ever seen. I ordered on the 12th, It went from IN. to Ill. and it sits there 4 days. Whats with that????????????? Wondering if it will EVER make it to Arizona

Excellent choice of products to choose from reasonable shipping rates.

Review: I purchased 2 catalytic converters from rockauto.com per the web site they were an exact fit, I also called customer service to confirm that the items would fit. I placed the order via the web and received everything on time once I took it to my mechanic to have the parts installed several hours later I was told by my mechanic that parts would not fit, we called Rock Auto shortly after so we could discuss what the issue is on why the parts didn't fit. My mechanic also explained to the rep that I just spent $270.00 to have the old parts put back on because of the new parts did not fit. The customer service rep was very helpful and said he would look into why the parts didn't work, I got an email a day later from the customer service rep stating below

Dear Mr. Phillips,

I am sorry the converters you ordered didn't fit. I notified the manufacturer's technician, [redacted] of the issue and he replied:

We are updating cataloging on this over the weekend. Please have this customer order our part numbers: 18264 (Left) and 18299 (Right) for this application. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, it appears, the manufacturer provided us incorrect information about the fitment of the converter.

I have just sent via email the necessary return instructions for sending them back. Please follow those return instructions and send the part back to the warehouse for a refund.

Once I got the above email I searched the new part numbers on rockauto.com that the rep suggested I get, 18264 is a catalytic converter and 18299 is a muffler which is not the part I need. So one of their replacement parts is still the wrong item on the website. I'm sending the parts back to get full refund.

I called back on Monday to see about getting a refund on the $270.00 I paid to have my original parts put back on because of the Rock Auto and the manufacturer mishap, I was told by another customer service rep at Rock Auto that they don't have a refund policy on such things and its a lost that I have to take. I explained to the rep that this issue was on their end and I have to pay for it that didn't seem to be good customer service.Desired Settlement: All I want is the $270 back that I had to spend to get the old parts put back on because of the Rock Auto and manufacturer mishap.

We are very sorry for the error we had

in our catalog that resulted from inaccurate information from the

manufacturer. Catalog errors are rare, but occasionally they do

happen. We have fixed the error in our catalog. As our Warranties

page (http://www.rockauto.com/docs/warranty.php)

states, labor costs are not reimbursed by RockAuto and this

manufacturer ([redacted]) does not consider labor claims. Thus, we are

unable to reimburse any labor costs associated with this order. Upon

return of the incorrect products, we will provide the customer with a

full refund including all shipping charges.

Review: On May 17,2015, I ordered a transmission valve body (ACDELCO [redacted]) in the amount of $412.79 for a 1999 Saturn SL2. I received the part on May 20,2015 and installed the part on May 24,2015. I had ordered the part to fix an issue with the transmission shifting After installing the part, the transmission still shifted poorly. I sent it to a repair shop and they had the vehicle for over 8 days and could not fix the problem. I found another repair shop who could fix the transmission . The mechanic from this shop had to open up the transmission valve body to diagnose the problem and he found that 2 of the 5 internal solenoids were faulty, he replaced them to see if the problem was corrected and it was. Contacted Rockauto.com by e-mail and was told that it is NOT under warranty.Desired Settlement: I have asked Rockauto. com to refund me $190.00 for the parts and labor.

customer purchased a part in May 2015. In July he reported that he

altered the part and disposed of the core, then requested

reimbursement for labor and the unauthorized modification. Our

Warranties page explains that like other retailers of branded

products, RockAuto

does not offer any product warranty of our own--we honor the warranty

provided by the manufacturer of the product. Warranties offer only

replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds

and no reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other expenses

Our Help page explains we will not accept returns of parts that have

been modified

Since unauthorized modification of the part voided the warranty, no

refund or replacement will be provided under the manufacturer's

warranty.

I am a repeat customer for years now.
Best prices with quality products. The "hearts" make it easy to identify popular part choices. Sort of like "ask the audience" on the tv game show.

I have used Rock Auto parts fore years and I have been very pleased with all parts and service that I have received over the years.

Great experience on first purchase. easy to use web site to search parts and easy order. will use Rockauto exclusively.

I purchased 2 tie rod ends from the description listed in the Rock Auto online catalog. When I received the items I discovered they were not tie rod ends but inner tie rods. The wrong parts I needed to repair my 1994 Nissan Sentra XE. RockAuto order [redacted]

I called the Rock Auto service number listed on the packing sheet. [redacted] answered my call. I explained to [redacted] the problem I was having, requesting that I be allowed to return the 2 inner tie rods and get the proper parts, 2 tie rod ends.

[redacted] stated he could only refund me for the parts but I would have to pay for the cost of shipping back the wrong parts. I asked even if Rock Auto catalog listing is wrong? [redacted] stated yes.

I asked [redacted] how about if I purchase the proper part, pay for the shipping and any difference in costs vs the returned parts and Rock Auto pay to ship the wrong parts back. [redacted] said no he was not allowed to do that.

I asked to speak to [redacted] supervisor. [redacted] told me he didn't have a supervisor. He was the decision maker. After numerous requests to speak to a supervisor, [redacted] shipped my call to [redacted].

[redacted] wasn't a supervisor, gave me the same response as [redacted]. I then asked to speak to [redacted] supervisor. [redacted] advised he didn't have a supervisor. I then requested the owner of Rock Auto's name and number. [redacted] refused to tell me who the owner was or give me his number. [redacted] advised me this isn't something the owner would be concerned with!

[redacted] ended my call without assisting me with my problem.

I am requesting a full refund $17.08 for the wrong parts I have received from Rock auto Parts. My attempts to resolve this issue with service representatives at Rock Auto have failed.

I ordered parts from RockAuto and got 2 broken tie rod assemblies. Both parts I ordered were broke!!!! They sent us a return label and assured us that they would inspect the replacement parts before shipment. When I opened the first new part the boot was almost torn off. They did a great job not looking at these parts. In the end I will get my $ back but something that should have taken a week to fix has now been strung out to two and I still have to wait for the parts to arrive back at RockAuto to get a refund so I can get parts at Auto Zone. NEVER AGAIN

Great prices fast shipping friendly customer service. Great company have been doing business with them for years and will continue to.

Great to get everything on line and pretty fast. Can compare prices for economy parts and higher grade and choose what I want without going around to parts stores. Almost always find just what I need in stock and very good prices.

I have been shopping with rockauto since late 2013 and have since ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts. They have a great selection of items at great prices but their return policy is awful. They require you to pay for the shipping to send it back costing you even more money and time because they sent you a defective part instead of offering a free shipping label. The customer service would not let me speak to a supervisor instead he just ignored my request. What a way to lose a loyal customer over a 30 dollar part. I would recommend you use them as a way to get part numbers to search for in google. You can usually find them about 5 to 10 dollars cheaper with free shipping on amazon with a no questions asked return policy.

I've ordered many parts for a few years now without a single problem so far. Couldn't ask for more.
