I like rockauto and I personally like raybestos professional grade ball joints they sell better than moog. I have received the wrong part before from their shipment and they got the correct part to my house within two days and I got to talk to someone without a hard to understand accent.

My experiences with RockAuto have always been great. This isn't the first time I've purchased things through them nor will it be my last (my conniving vehicles will see to it). I used to be employed selling auto parts so I like to think I know a little about this field. RockAuto provides an excellent catalog with excellent prices.

Since I started doing business with RockAuto about 2years ago. I have been very happy with the products I purchased and satisfy with the one call to customer support. Very pleased with web site and all the items they carry.

Package was never received, was told that the shipping company said it was left on my doorstep, so their hands were clean, was told I was SOL for the cost of the part I never received.

I have periodically ordered auto parts here since 2007 and generally I am pleased with their prices & quick delivery. For most of this time I have had no complaints.
However, in June of 2010 I received an email from Rock Auto advertising closeout parts for my 1987 Mercedes 300TD. Several of these parts listed in their online catalog (specifically for my DIESEL application) were fuel injectors. Since I was planning on changing these out sometime in the future, and since the injectors were a good deal, I ordered them, and when they arrived, I put them on the shelf until I had time to install them. Unfortunately that time did not arrive until the fall of 2014. When I opened the box of injectors I was surprised to see that they were NOT the correct injectors for my vehicle (they were gasoline injectors). I consequently double checked my records - AND Rock Auto's records and found that the injectors sent me WERE INDEED listed in their catalog as specifically being for my vehicle. I assumed that since this error was THEIR mistake they would make things "right" (as in return the incorrect parts for a refund) so I called their customer service.
After explaining everything to a CS rep, I was told that there was nothing that they could do for me. I even tried to elevate my request to a higher level, but the CS rep was very firm stating nothing could be done. She never even acknowledged their catalog mistake. I have dealt with several other online businesses who have shipped incorrect or defective items and each of these other companies were agreeable to refunding arrangements. If Rock Auto is truly committed to satisfying customers, they would accept responsibility for their mistakes, and in this case, refund my money.
Because of their unwillingness to correct THEIR error, and my experience with their customer service, I have rated Rock Auto "Negative", but to be fair, excepting this one incidence, I would have rated my total experience "Positive".
I caution all buyers to be sure to inspect your parts completely upon receipt and resolve discrepancies immediately. Do not count on the online catalog being totally accurate, nor in customer service being committed to resolving THEIR errors.

Ive bought items from rockauto for a couple autos that I or still do own. Every order was delivered on a time, when it was wrong item, rockauto was very easy to have the item replaced. When I had technical questions , the rockauto staff were very helpful in answering my questions. Even by telephone I felt like I had someone that genuinely wanted to make sure I ordered the right parts.

Part quality is great, shipping is quick and undamaged when received. the ordering process is accurate on the website and am assured of my safety[redacted]
