For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I called the main office again on Wednesday, October 29. The receptionist said [redacted] would call me by the end of the day. Their initial response to the BBB complaint said the same but also included we could buy an extended warranty. For one, [redacted] or anyone from Reliance returned my call (it is now 2 am the next day, Oct 30). And two, I did not request to purchase an extended warranty. Again, the issue we have with the heater is the backing/back panel was never installed when we purchased it back in December and according to the tech who came out on Friday, October 24th, said it needed a special sealant/caulking. I understand if we removed the backing or caulking, causing issues and consequently we'd have to pay for labor and parts. This is not the case! The backing and sealant should have been installed/completed in the first place. According to the SoCal Gas Company technician, the heater is UNSAFE to use. Is he wrong then??? Why is it difficult to correct the problem that would have been prevented had Gurtovoy completed the job correctly back in December? Regards, [redacted]
Once again, do you see any labor charges pertaining to installation of the ice maker on your invoice? No you do not because it was done as a courtesyOur technician literally took the drip pan out to demonstrate the corrosionWe will not send another technician to your residence to advise of the same issue, as per our telephone conversation

An estimate was provided by our technician, and approved by you, prior to our engagement in the actual repair
Job was completed per our agreement, if we charged a service call of $customer needs to call our company, explain the situation, accounting will check and will refund if it happened.Thank you
When the part installation appointment had to be postponed due to factors beyond our control, client got extremely upset and became hostile with our technicianInstead of charging the deposit, as per our agreement, we've ended up charging only a service call fee for the estimate and diagnosis
Our protocols have been the same for over years: We need to send technician to provide an estimate and diagnosis hence the service call fee

I was previously emailed by Ms [redacted] concerning complaint No [redacted] but had not replied because the firm I had contacted you about has still not returned to replace the gas valve on my stove that is still leakingThey did say they would be back with a new valve but have not done soThis seems to be their tactic until I just give up and or stop complaining to the Revdex.comThank you again, [redacted] Replace the leaking gas valve on my left front burner as they said they would the last time they came to correct the problems that I've had with this stove

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I really do not understand their response They say that please look at the back side of the agreement, I have enclosed that, it only says that the work is guaranteed for days and to respond to their home office which we did To reiterate: my wife called them out to look at our Viking Range without my knowledge; if I had known, I would of looked up them on Revdex.com or Yelp The Range was making clicking noises to the Stove Top when the Oven was on The person named Sharp look at it and did not diagnose it, he just replaced the parts as listed on the invoice which has no diagnosis We did not use the Oven for a month, but after a month we used the Oven and the stove top at the same time and the stove top started clicking My wife called them up and said it clicks some of the time and some of the time it does not but as we are preparing for Thanksgiving, we need them to come out after Thanksgiving and scheduled a time to fix the Range under warranty on 12/1/withe day warranty.The technician named Sharp came out and cut the wiring to the stove top and then said the problem was unrelated Now having the stove top wiring cut and destroyed, I had to say to go ahead to fix it and charge separately He cut some wiring to the stove top, turned it on and it started to click again and it was not fixed I told the technician to fix it and he got angry and very threatening and said he was leaving and to never call them again and they would never come to our house again and to never call them again We called the home office to send another technician to come out and they said this person Sharp was their best technician and if he can't fix it then they can't fix it and they were done with us and they hung up on us and now do no return our calls The range does not work and we paid them $and it is suppose to be under warranty and all we want is for it to be fixed.We could of bought a new range for not much more I have enclosed the back of the agreement and I do not see where the back of the agreement exonerates them for honoring their day warranty I did a inspectipedia research on the Rang and it says that the problems with the stove top igniters clicking is related to a short in the wiring and the so-called technician never did a diagnosis of the wiring with a multi-meter and diagnosed the short which he should of done He just replace some parts which you can buy on Amazon for $and hoped for the best and when that failed he walked off the job and told us to get lost All we want is our Range fixed and for $that is not asking for too much but we do not even have that.I really only want that stove top fixed but their technician who is suppose to be their best cannot fix it, plus he is quite threatening and my wife is afraid to have him back in our house If this so-called repair company would reimburse us cents on the dollar I would let this go and get some one else to fix it but I do not intent to let this go I will go to the contractors board, their bond company and on to court if I have to, to get this fixed Please refer to their listings every city, lists Cogan as their address, They cannot have the same address is different cities Do a Google search on Cogan Way in El Cajon, it is a loading dock, something is wrong here The offer a warranty and now coherent reason as to why they will not honor their warranty and I do not intend to let this go unsettled Regards, [redacted] ***

The appointment scheduled for 12/1/was under our warranty agreement, hence no service call fee being chargedUpon arrival to the residence, a problem unrelated to the initial repairs was discoveredOur technician went above and beyond by performing repairs to the wiring free of charge
The unit was installed almost years agoDuring our telephone conversation, you were asked to provide supporting documentation regarding your preposterous claim of our company installing an undersized unit (since you had TWO other companies out)However, you were not able to provide any legitimate documentsAlthough you no longer have any warranty for the work we have performed, we have made arrangements to send out an area supervisor on 1/24/to your residence to meet with the representative whom made the assessment of the unit being undersizedYou are ineligible for any refund
