Review: I was deceived by the company's "FREE" online offer for a starter kit of E-cigs. I contacted company to complain about deceptive advertising practices, and was not satisfied with the response. Upon receipt of starter kit, I again contacted the company to receive merchandise return authorization, which they provided. I then checked on my bank account and to my surprise there was a pending transaction to debit my account on 8/8/13 for $119.95. The company stated earlier in their email that I would not be billed for the starter kit until after 14 days- The original order was placed on 7/31/13; That's only 9 days! I subsequently received another email stating that they were refunding the $119.95 to my bank account, but it would take 3-5 days to do so.

This company has practiced bait and switch advertising, deceptive advertising, and outright FRAUD as it pertains to their statement of billing practices vs. actual billing practiced. Real damages amount to $4.95 for shipping and handling to me, return postage, freezing of $119.95 in my bank account, cell phone calls and my time wasted.Desired Settlement: Elimination of the word "FREE" in any and all of the company's advertising. Elimination of premature and/or fraudulent billing practices

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: HelloI have been trying to work with getrealcigs to return their products in order to meet their "free trial" requirements and they have been rude and unhelpful. All of the items delivered are in their original packaging and have never been opened. I contacted the company several weeks ago and they couldn't find my account or the charges and told me to contact my bank. This made it impossible to return the products during the "free trial" period as they require an RMA number. I called again yesterday because I received yet another charge and they were finally able to find my account but refuse to allow me to return all of the products I've received so far. The customer service agent was rude and said "his system won't allow returns outside of the free trial period". I explained that I had called several weeks back and he said there was nothing he could do about that and that I needed to calm down. I did secure an RMA number for 1 of the products but need to return them all. We don't want this stuff. I would like them to honor their free trial period and since they couldn't find my account the first time I called should be able to lift their rules since it's no fault of mine. Please advise asap & thanksDesired Settlement: I just want to return all of their products and get my $200 back. Here is a list of the charges11/13 - [redacted]

Dear [redacted],

Review: A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to purchase an electronic cigarette system for $4.99. I had successfully used E-cig to quit smoking so I thought I would jump on this chance and buy it for a loved one who was trying to quit.Immediately after ordering what I thought was an E-cig... I got an e-mail from Regal Cigs saying my order was received and that my 30 day trial was on its' way. I would be billed for the retail cost, $129.00 or so, after the 30 days. I jumped on the phone and called! This was less than an hour from my initial contact.I knew I was in trouble when customer service told me that my order had already been sent to shipping and they couldn't contact them to cancel it. In fact, they couldn't even contact their corporate office if they wanted to. I was told I would have to wait until the package arrived then call them for a RMA # that would "allow" me to return it.I received the package. There is a return address and no further identifying information. I was forced to open the mailing package looking for a phone number. There is no packing list. No receipt. Nothing. After a search on the internet I found the contact information and called. The woman I talked to at customer service was really nice. She happily gave me my RMA and I was about to hang up and forget this little incident when she said, "There will be a 20% restocking fee upon return of the system." OK, 20% of $4.99 is pocket change. I don't like it but I can deal with it. But NO! it is 20% of the retail price of $129.00 or so! My credit card will be charged $23.99!It is going to cost me $23.99 to get rid of something I tried to cancel before it even left the plant!Regal Cigs is FAR from regal!Desired Settlement: I want all of my money refunded... $4.99 for the original shipping plus the $23.99 restocking fee... Also any out of pocket cost of return shipment.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: After ordering a free special offer coupon for free E Cigarettes for the price of shipping of $4.95. Wanting to quit smoking I thought I would try this e cig it said lifetime warranty, money back within thirty days and many other promises of quality and customer service is #1. None of this rang true. When charged the $4.95 there was also a international charge of $.05 they are in AZ and I live in AZ? Even though this special offer read that you received this free I found out when it arrived you only had a thirty day trial then you had to call and cancel. Well thirteen days after I ordered it and only 10 days after I received this order I was charged $119.95, and an international charge of $1.20 and $35.00 overdraft. I never gave my permission for this charge I checked for any recurring charges before I paid and nothing said anything about recurring charges but when I called regal cigs to work out this issue I was confronted with hostile interrupting customer service people whom told she could read the terms and agreements to me if I needed her too. I asked for a supervisor more than once and was repeatedly told there wasnt any around. Was told I had ordered a 14 day free trial and I could return it for 80% of the cost cause I have to pay a 20% restocking fee. If it was a 14 day trial then why was I charged the $119.95 on the 13 day? I guess its just how they cheat people. The page you order from says none of this stuff it said lifetime warranty and free e cig starter kits. It was all a scam and I want all my money back. I feel stupid for not realizing it when I ordered.Desired Settlement: I want all my money back starting with $4.95 + $.05 + $119.95 + $1.20 + $35.00 for a total of $161.15. There should not be any international fees it came from the same state! If they are such the #1 company with the best customer service then prove it and refund my money.I already received an RMA # and have shipped the item back but havent received any emails about a refund. We sent to address they requested: [redacted]Tempe [redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: On May 6 2014 I received a pop up while shopping online. What I was shopping for had nothing to do with regalcigs or any cigarettes for that matter. It was asking me if I would be willing to answer a short survey regarding my shopping experiences online. This is a pop up I seemed to have received continuously during the month of May and do not know who it is originated by. Up until the day I had ignored the pop up by simply exiting it out. On May 6th I just decided to see what it was all about and read that if I completed the survey I would be directed to a list of free gifts that I could choose from. None of the gifts were extravagant by far.......and some had shipping fees associated with them which I wasn't that jazzed about but when I saw that there was an gift from regalcigs that is what I chose. I acknowledged their $4.95 shipping charge and it immediately prompted me to another screen to purchase insurance on the pkg they would be sending.......I thought about it and decided NO....I'm thinking.....this is supposed to be a gift for my time to answer a survey. Why is it costing ME MONEY NOW. OK.......now I reread what my gift was and was feeling ok with it eve having to put out for the postage.....A little happy with my endeavor I bragged to my husband about it. NOW THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS. I naturally checked the bank account to confirm that the amount they charged me for postage to send me my gift was $4.95.....then I noticed the transaction underneath it for $1.99 .....that Insurance fee they tried to suck me into getting......then the next line after that was a charge of $ .06 INTERNATIONAL POS FEE and then another line with a charge of $ .15 INTERNATRIONAL POS FEE. Needless to say......I'm shocked. OMG what the heck. OK in reality while I felt stupid that things were looking funny.....I was glad that it was not that much money and I figured the worse that could happen is that the gift was a piece of crap and chalk the whole thing up to my stupidity. I was not about to put any time into complaining over that anount....even though that insurance charge really did upset me. I do not recall exactly when I finally received the small package but it eventually did arrive.......The bad taste I had in my mouth left me un interested in even opening the package and it sat on my kitchen countertop for at least a week before I finally opened it. It was a small box with one chargeable short cigarette, along with a one wall charger with usb connection. And a small manual. The cigarette was to be plugged in and charged before using. It also included five cartriges....with a generic flavor tobacco (no indication of what flavor or just said TOBACCO HIGH5V.d When I had time I read the instructions and plugged in the cartomizer/cig and waited and waited for the light to tell me it was fully charged.....which after 24 hours never ever happened. I tried to use the cigarette thinking maybe it was charged and the light on the wall charger is whats on the blink.....low and behold the darn think actually smoked. Yeah it smoked for about one day and then the charge was gone and it has never been charged since then. Again, I gave myself another kick for stupidity and told myself that it could have been worse. I got taken but for such a small amount I put it out of my sight and decided not even to make an attempt to call regal cigs and complain. It just was not worth my time.

NOW I BRING YOU TO MY BANK STATEMENT AGAIN. On May 20 2014 I come across another charge from getregalcigs.com for the amount of $119.95 along with an INTERNATIONAL POS FEE FOR $3.60. I am in shock and my husband is ready to divorce me and I'm on double duty at work and I know know I have to find a way to fit in a call to Regalcigs......to be honest I told my husband I was not worried that it was definitely a mistake because I got a gift and did not order anything. Someone at Regalcigs got something mixed up. NO SUCH LUCK. THEY WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ME as I tried to explain to the a woman named [redacted] that I filled out a survey and chose a gift. I paid the $4.95 plus other stupid fees and insurance I didn't want and not to mention the gift was useless. She fully left me confused as to what the $119.95 plus addl POS fees were for....and I was under the impression that there was another box of tobacco cartridges and maybe some additional chargable cigarettes on their way.....for $119.95 it must be something worth it. I had not yet received anything else from Regalcigs. I was having trouble keeping my composure by this time and threatened to report them and asked for a manager.....but was dissuaded and she finally said she could help me by me sending back the starter package (that's what they called it) and they would refund 25% of the $119.95 but I would have to eat the other associated fees. They would then issue me an RMA and I would have to pay postage to return it back to them. Once I had physically returned the package and had a tracking number I was to contact them and the 25% refund would be initiated. I LOST IT HERE. BASICALLY SEEING RED....I DONT REMEMBER WHAT I SAID BUT [redacted] AGREED THEN TO REFUND MY ENTIRE AMOUNT .....NOT FOR MY GIFT MIND YOU....BUT FOR THE $119.95 ONLY. I WAS STARTING TO FEEL SATISFIED.......BUT STILL IN MY MIND I BELIEVED THAT I WAS GOIG TO RETURN SOMETHING THAT I WOULD BE RECEIVING ANY DAY (WHATEVER THEY CHARGED ME $119.95 + FEES FOR).....I WAITED AND WAITED FOR AN ADDITIONAL PACKAGE SO I COULD PAY POSTAGE AND SEND IT BACK TO THEM.....JUSTN TO TRY AND RECOVER MOST OF THE MONEY THEY TOOK FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AND MY HUSBAND WOULD GET OFF MY BACK. WHEN I NEVER RECEIVED A PACKAGE NATURALLY I CALLED REGALCIGS AGAIN AND THEY NOW INFORM ME THAT THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL PACKAGE.....AND I WAS TO RETURN THE STARTER KIT I RECEIVED......BUT WAIT I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GIFT I SO STUPIDLY PAID POSTAGE AND INSURANCE ON JUST TO RECEIVE IT. I NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING FROM REGALCIGS.... THIS TIME I TALKED TO A GUY THAT WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME AND WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ME.....I ASKED TO SPEAK TO HIS SUPERIOR AND HE WOULD NOT OBLIGE.....HE SAID NOW SINCE I MISSED THE DATE TO RETURN THE ITEM AS AGREED WITH [redacted] THE ARRANGEMENT FOR FULL REFUND OF $119.95 WAS NO LONGER VALID AND THEY WOULD ONLY SEND ME 25% OF THAT AMOUNT. I WOULD STILL HAVE TO SEND BACK THE STARTER KIT TO GET THEIR GENEROUS SETTLEMENT OFFER......BUT WAIT WASNT THAT MY GIFT. AND BY THE WAY IT DIDNT EVEN WORK......DO YOU THINK THEY EVEN CARED. ULTIMATELY,.....THE GUY HUNG UP ON ME BEAUSE HE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO. I INFORMED HIM THAT I HAD AN EMAIL FROM [redacted] IDICATING THAT I WOULD GET MY $119.95 REFUND AND I HAD 30 DAYS TO RETURN THE ORDER (WHICH I WAS STILL WAITING FOR IN THE MAIL.....BUT THEN THE GUY SAID NO THAT THERE IS NO ORDER THE ORDER THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT IS THE STARTER KIT WHICH TO ME IS A BROKEN GIFT. I CALLED AGAIN BECAUSE I WAS GETTING WORRIED THAT THE DAYS WERE PASSING AND MY EMAIL SAID I HAD 30 DAYS TO GET IT DONE. I WAS AT THAT TIME INFORNED NO NO NO.........THERE IS NO 30 DAYS. I AM LOOKING AT THE EMAIL RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF ME.....ALSO IT INCLUDES INFORMATION ABOUT AN ORDER PURCHASED ON MAY 19TH AT 1:22 AM FOR A TOTAL AMT OF $119.95. THE DAY BEFORE THE $119.95 AND INTERNATIONAL POS FEES ARE TAKEN OUT OF MY BANK .

THE RMA # THEY PROVIDED ME IS: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I SIMPLY WANT MY ENTIRE AMOUUNT(S) THAT THEY CHARGED MY BANK ACCOUNT TO BE REFUNDED BACK TO ME. $119.95 plus $3.60 INTERNATIONAL POS FEES.

(BY THE WAY.......THE GUY SAID THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL PKG SO I JUST REALIZED.....WHY IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL POS FEE.)

ADDITIONALLY.......

I WILL RETURN "MY GIFT" THE NONFUNCTIONAL STARTER KIT, however, NOW I WANT MY $4.95 plus $1.99 INSURANCE plus INTERNATIONAL POS FEES OF $.06 AND $.05 THAT THEY SUCKED ME INTO THIS SCAM WITH. I WOULD ALSO REQUEST AN ADDITIONAL $6 ( APPROXIMATE SMALL FLAT RATE FEE) FOR THE POSTAGE I WILL PAY TO RETURN THE FAULTY GIFT.

CLEARLY THIS LOOKS LIKE A BIG SCAM.....THEY SEND OUT BROKEN GIFTS, SOMEONE AT REGAL PUT THE COMPANY ON THE GIFT LIST AND PROBABLY DIDN'T FOLLOW THROUGH TO ENSURE THAT THOSE PEOPLE CHOOSING THEM AS A GIFT SHOULD BE HANDLED DIFFERENTLY.........MAYBE A SOFTWARE EDIT WOULD HAVE DISTINGUISHED THAT GROUP ENCOUNTERING THEM AFTER DOING A SURVEY...........THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY DO BUSINESS IS CLEARLY FASHIONED TO BANK UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS MONEY........I WOULD IMAGINE THAT SOMEONE IS GETTING RICH. While consumers are baffled and spending time back and forth trying to make sense of it all they have the money. THEY CAN KEEP PEOPLE CONFUSED AND IN LIMBO WHERE MOST PEOPLE WOULD TIRE AND JUST FORGET IT....EVEN ON THE SMALL AMOUNTS. THEY ARE MAKING BUCKS ON THAT STIPULATION ALONE THAT THEY CAN ONLY REFUND REFUND 25% AND BLAME IT ON THE CONSUMERS NON-COMPLIANCE. I BEG OF YOU PLEASE IF MY RABLING IS UNCLEAR I APOLOGIZE.....I AM AT MY WITS END.....I JUST WANT TO SEE A RESOLUTION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. I WILL DO EVERTHING I CAN TO HELP GET THESE GUYS ON THE UP AND ARROW. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

I apologize for the confusion. The $119.95 charge is the initial, one-time charge for the starter kit you ordered for $4.95 shipping after the 14 day trial expired.

Just for clarification, this charge was generated based on the Terms and Conditions on the checkout page where you inputted your credit card information.

"Terms & Conditions: If you select the 14 day trial you agree to pay just shipping and handling. For your convenience, we will automatically enroll you in our Regal Refill Plan, and you will receive a monthly supply of cartomizers (two packs of refills containing five each, ten cartomizers total) for just $89.95 plus $4.95 for S&H, a savings of over 50% on traditional cigarettes! If you decide to keep the starter kit and do not cancel before the 14-day trial expires your card will be charged $119.95 for the starter kit. A restocking fee may apply on returns. If you are not 100% satisfied, cancel at any time!"

You can view the terms and conditions by clicking on the link below.

https://www.tryregalcigs.com/term.html

If you want to be refunded for the starter kit you will need to return it. I have issued you an RMA number and return instructions have been sent to via separate email. We will send you a confirmation email once we receive the returned product. The 20% restocking fee has also been waived and you will be issued a full refund of $119.95 after we receive the returned product. The $1.99 insurance fee has also been refunded as of now. The only charge we cannot refund is the $4.95 shipping fee.

Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call us at 1-888-822-5977 if there is anything else you need and we will gladly assist you.

Sincerely,

Dear [redacted],

Review: Regal cigs.com contacted me by e-mail with a free trial offer of their e-cigaret for a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 which they withdrew from my debit/checking account.

A trial period of 14 days was mentioned in the e-mail, where if I was not satisfied I could return the product and get a refund. What they did not disclose was the full price of the

trial kit, which was $119.00. I only found out about it when I called to report that the battery was not charging. They are supposed to send out a new battery but have not as yet. I called

them back to get a Return Merchandise Authorization number because I was not satisfied with the product and they told me there would be a "restocking fee" of $23.99, which also

was not mentioned in the e-mail or packaging. So I am out $29.00 plus the shipping fees to send it back and none of this was disclosed.Desired Settlement: The company should be made to disclose this information of the fees involved in the transactions

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: I placed an order with LL Bean. During that process, a pop-up add lead me to believe I could order a product and only pay shipping and handling. I choose Regal eCig. The advertisement led me to believe that it would only cost me about $5.00 for shipping and handing for a trial of the product. I received a bill on my credit card for $119.00 in addition to the shipping and handling. I called Regal eCig and complained. I was told that I had 14 days to return the order and it was past the 14 days. I told them I had not had the product for 14 days. I was told it was 14 days from the date of the order. No mention was obvious or made in the pop up add about 14 days from the date of the order to return the item. They finally said if I returned the item within 5 days, paid shipping, and called them with a tracking number, they would give me a refund on my credit card. They start dating your trial period when you order (before it is even shipped) not when you receive it which I find totally unethical and limits your days to cancel even more so.Desired Settlement: They gave me a Transaction ID number for the refund to my credit card but I do not trust the company to give me my credit. It is also unconscionable that I have to pay for shipping to return an item that was sold through blatantly misleading advertising - Regal eCig should pay for the return shipping.

Dear [redacted],

Review: Regal advertises a free starter kit (http://regalecigsfreetrial.com). I don't even smoke, but was curious what electronic cigarettes are. The kit is not free. They charge you $4.95 for shipping but that is only so they can capture your credit card information. They put in their fine print that if the "free" starter kit is not returned in 14 days you will be charged $119. Further in the fine print is your agreement to continue receiving overpriced refills unless you cancel. Once you discover they are doing this they will only refund the price of the refills, not the original starter kit and then only 80% and you have to pay for return shipping. Their excuse is that it states clearly what the terms are and you should have read the terms. Who reads the terms for a free gift? This company uses unethical and deceptive business practices designed to trap unsuspecting and trusting people.Desired Settlement: They refund all my money and stop advertising something is free when it is not.

Dear B[redacted],

Review: I went to my usual website to place an order, when I ordered, the site switched to a page offering a coupon for a free product with no logo so assumed I was on my website with new product, as I continued that was my assumption. AFTER THE ORDER WAS PLACED I REALIZED IT WAS A DIFFERENT COMPANY. After many tries I got thru on their phone #, they refused to give me return authorization until I receive the product, which then would require me to use the phone # that requires many tries.

This company entered me into an automatic pay & ship each month, they also charged for shipping insurance, there was probably small print somewhere that I missed assuming I was dealing with my usual supplier.Desired Settlement: Very deceptive company, I want it known. They hacked into a valid website.

Review: Regal eCigs ripped me off. They know exactly how to manipulate and take advantage of innocent consumers... I came across an ad for a free sample, *just pay s/h. I figured I would take advantage of it. The terms and conditions were not displayed before I submitted my order and gave them my payment information. The confirmation email, nor the the "free" sample I received contained any information about it being a 15 day trial... When I noticed the charge on my bank statement for 119.95 I called the number listed immediately. The customer rep said the 15 days was up and she could offer a 25% discount. The terms are not identified and were not present in the box when the product arrived. I guess only a sentence shows up after you've already submitted your order. This is deception theft. They need to be put out of business.Desired Settlement: I don't want 25% or 50% back. I want 100% back minus the $4.95 shipping that I did agree to. It was advertised as a FREE SAMPLE!!!

Review: I ordered the trial kit for $4.95. The package itself is only worth $4.95 at best IF it works. The ecig died after a couple of drags and I couldn't even get it to recharge so I called the company n cancelled my trial right away. I was shocked 2day 2 learn that this company ignored my request(via phone as stated in their TOS) to cancel and charged my card $119.95!! I called the company and the rep was very nasty n told me if I want my money back I have to pay a fee to them for restocking, I would only get a small percent of my money back, and I'd have to pay for postage. Again, I cancelled this trial w/in a day of having received this broken product. I had to cancel my card since they billed me when I called them n said cancel this trial! I really need my money back since it was an unauthorized charge. They won't give me back my $195.95 that they took even though I canceled! Can you PLEASE help me?Desired Settlement: I want my money back that they took from me which totals $195.95

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: When paying an online bill a survey came up concerning the business that I was paying the bill for. After the survey as a thank you I could choose from a list of "gifts". I chose the Regal cigs because my husband has been unable to quit smoking. The total charge was for shipping which was $3.96. A total of $6.13 was actually charged in four different transactions on 11/28/14 $1.99, $3.96 for shipping $.06 and $.12 for "foreign transaction" fees. I ordered these only because it had the secure lock on the web page, and it was a survey for Kohl's. The cigarettes arrived with no documentation that said it had to be returned in 16 days or I would be charged the full price, which on the web page was $90.00 or 99.00 but not $119.95. Today (12/10/2014) a charge for $119.95 was pending on my bank statement. I called the customer service and was told because I didn't read the fine print I was stuck for the charge. If I mailed back the product I could get all but 20% restacking fee credited back to my account. I went to my bank and filed a dispute, my debit card had to be cancelled. I called the customer service once again for Regal cigs and [redacted] told me that they would credit me half the cost instead of mailing it back. I chose to mail it back. Which cost $10.22. This has been a valuable lesson to learn at 66 years of age. There are NO free gifts.Desired Settlement: $119.95 credited back to my account.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Review: Regal Cigs contacted me by e-mail with a "Free" offer of their e-cigarette for a shipping and handling fee of $4.95. I ordered on 7/23/2013 and they withdrew $4.95 from my girlfriend's checking / debit account on 7/25/2013. I received the product as described on 8/3/2013. A fourteen day trial was mentioned in the advertisement as well as a 30-day "100% money-back guarantee".

What they do not disclose is that the product must be returned / received within 14 days of the order date or that the product actually costs $119.95 which they billed my girlfriend's checking / debit acc. 13 days and 17 hours after responding to their ad. ( Three days after receiving product, one day was a Sunday, leaving an unrealistic amount of time to try the product and have returned for them to RECEIVE within 14 days of responding to the ad).

As soon as my girlfriend saw the "pending" transaction on her account for $119.95, she called the (888) number listed with the transaction for the vendor requesting the transaction (RegalCigs) as well as her bank. The RegalCigs customer service rep was extremely rude and argumentative. He told her she must be out of her mind if she really thought they were going to send out an electronic cigarette starter kit for free and that the company has every right to charge customers for the kits. After insukting my girlfriend, he then explained, (not politely), the terms of the 14 day TRIAL period and how the 14 day trial period starts the MINUTE you respond to the offer and ends EXACTLY 14 days later and that the company has to have issued a return authorization number AND RECEIVED the returned product before the 14 days are over. As far as the 30 day 100%

Money Back guarantee goes, she was told that only applies to customers who have paid the full purchase price (never disclosed) of $119.95 and is counted 30 days from time of response to ad. He told my girlfriend there was no way the company would reverse / stop the pending transaction even when she insisted we did not want to keep their product and that we were EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the company's failure to disclose full terms of the offer. She even explained that there were not enough funds in her debit account to cover the transaction and that if Regal Cigs did not credit the debit back, she would end up with overdraft fees. The CSR was a real jerk on the phone and told her it wasn't his problem, that RegalCigs has every right to debit the account. She did manage to find out that befote she could even return the product, she would need a return authorization number, although he did not bother giving her one.

She then called the bank to try to stop the transaction from going through. She explained the dispute but was told (politely) that the bank can not dispute "pending" transactions and only the requesting vendor can cancel the transaction. She then called RegalCigs again, hoping for a more polite CSR, who did issue her a return authorization number , but told her that the company would not reverse the pending debit as it had been 13 days and 17 hours since we responded to their solicitation and that a full 14 days would pass before the "pending" transaction would be final. (This CSR actually provided us with the EXACT date/ hour/ min/ sec. we had responded to their e-mail as well as what EXACT time they had requested the $119.95 debit). She told my girlfriend there was no way to receive the returned product before the 14 day trial was final and therefor they had every right to debit the $119.95 out of my girlfriend's account, even if we provided a tracking number as proof of return. My girlfriend again tried to explain that she was trying to avoid an overdraft on her checking account for a charge she had never been informed of or authorized pri or to accepting RegalCigs email offer. The CSR then informed my girlfriend that

not only would she not request a reversal of the $119.95 but that the company would charge the account, wait for the product to be returned at our expense with the return authorization number, and then and only then would anybody submit a request for a refund which we could expect to take 5-7 business days after the request for a refund was submitted - much too late to avoid overdraft fees. To top it all off, the CSR then informed us that we would not be refunded the full amont but that it would be less $23.99 for a restocking fee!

The $119.95 transaction resulted in $95 of overdraft bank fees, all of which could have been avoided had RegalCigs corrected everything BEFORE the "Pending" transaction was pushed through! Card ending in -[redacted]; Merchandise return authorization # [redacted]; Tracking # [redacted] issued 08/06/2013 at 12:59:39 PM - well befote the end of the banking business day and in time to have stopped / reversed pending transaction.

This company should be sued for their misleading advertising / solicitations.Desired Settlement: I feel my girlfriend deserves a FULL REFUND of all monies she is out as a result of RegalCigs nondisclosure, failure to respond quickly to complaint, as well as a letter to the bank for unauthorized debit and a letter of apology for the rude and derogatory CSR. $4.95 initial offer, $119.95 unauthorized / undisclosed debit on her account, $95 in resulting bank overdraft fees, and $6.09 for postage with required tracking / ins. Comes to a total of $225.99.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: This company is a total scam. I ordered the trial cigarettes for $4.95. When I got my credit card statement there was a charge from them for $119.95. I contacted my credit card as soon as I got my stgatement but they said there was nothing they could do since the had it in their terms that the product had to be sent back within 30 days. I think a class action lawsuit should be filed against this company.Desired Settlement: I dispute all charges and I dont want they try to charge my credits again threy rip off, online scam company and they fraud thousand os people like me

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: This company is engaged in Bait Advertising and Selling. While completing a purchase from a different website I received a notification saying that I had earned a free gift. It was my understanding that I was receiving a free gift from the website I was purchasing from. That was not the case. I was asked to ONLY pay $4.95 for shipping and handling. There was NO terms and conditions to read and NO fine print to read. FREE gift ONLY pay shipping and handling. I few months later I get an email saying my next order has shipped. I did not order anything so I checked with the company and they said I signed up for auto-debt my credit card. I did not and it is not listed that this would occur on their website.Desired Settlement: They need to cancel all charges on my credit card and agee that I will not pay for a restocking fee for someting I did not order....plus a handling fee for something I did not asked to be handled.

Dear [redacted],

Review: The reason why I am filing a complaint is because the website I found promoting the free starter e cig kit is presented in a way that most people will not think to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to read the terms. What happened to me was that they took a total of $186.99 out of my checking account, thereby overdrawing it.This is false advertisement in a sense, because if the terms were posted in a way that was more noticeable, I never would have bothered placing an order with them in the first place. This is the page that I initially saw:[redacted]Desired Settlement: All that I want is my $186.99 back, so PSE&G does not shut off my gas and electric.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: Regal e-cigs advertises a free trial of their e-cig all you pay is s&h. Now signing up for this I thought free trial meant I could use what they send me if I want more I order more. Well Regal e-cigs goes along and puts a very important piece of information in the terms and conditions (even though over half of America does NOT read them[i know we agree so we should read but this is just scandalous]). The trial period starts the day you order it. So my trial period ended two days after I got the e cig. How is this fair? I didnt even really get to try it. Now that im returning it I have to pay for shipping again alongside getting charged another $25 after my $119 is refunded. This is an absolute scam, it was the absolute WORST e cig I have ever had. Something needs to be done!Desired Settlement: I only want my entire 119.95 back and to not be charger the $25

Hi [redacted],

Review: I ordered 2 e cigs starting packs more than 25 days ago and after learning they will later charge me 119$ every single month after that starting kit I called to cancel my order and they still charged me 119$ twice for both sets. I canceled my order. I do not want there product. The E cigs they offer are dangerous and my brothers E Cig from there company melted while he was smoking it.Desired Settlement: Myself and The members of my family who fell for this trick want our money back. we will send all products back that they send us from now on. We will not accept the package, we want our time and money back and this company to change how they do business. They lady I spoke to on the phone to cancel my order was not polite and did not seem to know what to say to me.

Hi [redacted],

Review: I paid for what I thought was a ONE TIME shipping & handling fee of $4.95 & 30 days later they charged my card $119.95. The representative would not give me the option of returning the merchandise due to the fact I had the product for more than 30 days. No extention even though I had no idea there was a 30 trial period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very upset & now I am having trouble paying my car payment. Very unhappy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH REGALCIGS. I am disatisfied with the product as well, $119.95 for 1 e cig & for 4 cartridges. The product did not work as described in booklet instructions.Desired Settlement: $119.95 refunded to me directly, IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
