Review: I accepted the Regal Cigs. free offer to try their electronic cigarette for 4.95 shipping cost. When I got my Pay Pal bill, I had been charged over 119.00 for their starter kit which was to have been free just for the shipping. About a month later, I received a refill , the charge was around 65.oo. I called and they reduced the price by 14.95, so I kept the refill. At this time I cancelled any further shipments. Two days ago, I received another refill shipment. I called and they told me to mark it "refused" and gave me a number to put on the package. They said I would need a tracking number and when I received the notice they had received it, I was to call them back and they would issue my refund. I went to mail the package and was told at the post office that they can't give a tracking number on a refused package. I had to pay 5.85 to send it back. I then called customer service at Regal Cigs. again and ask that amount to be added to my refund. She said it was against company policy. I said not when it is your mistake, and she refused. I ask for a supervisor and was told they were all busy.Desired Settlement: I would be willing to send everything back with a full refund. I believe they intentionally misrepresent the price.

Dear [redacted],
Review: took questionaire and "won" a ecig. from regal which turned out to be simply a trial that had to be returned or subcribe to their service. contacted co. and told I didn't like it and wanted a rma number to return it, supposedly with a full refund. after I got the rma number ([redacted]) I returned it via ups and tracked it to their office at [redacted]. Was told I'd receive refund within 48 hrs. Instead I had 11.99 remved from my account for a restocking fee that was never mentioned untill I asked where my refund was. =Desired Settlement: I would like to get my 4.79 plus 11.99 returned to my account and their buisness practices looked into.

Dear [redacted],
Review: At the end of purchasing another item I was given a choice of a free gift. One of the choices was a starter kit from regal cigs. I pick it and went through the steps which stated I would have to pay the $4.95 shipping and handling. Which I did, next day I got high pressure sales call trying to get me to buy other products from them which I declined and asked them not to call me any more. I received the product in the mail and thought I was done. Yet after about 3 weeks I get an email stating that my next order is being shipped and $94.90 has been charged to my credit card. When I contacted them they said that it was written in the fine print when I agreed to the shipping charges on the first shipment. I told them I did not authorize them to charge anything to my card other than the $4.95 and I would be refusing anything sent and they needed to credit back my card. The product was sent anyways and when it arrived I took it unopened back to the post office marked refused on it and sent it back. On the 14th of Sept I get an email saying they received the item and my card was credited $89.95. When I contacted them they replied we can only refund for the product not the shipping and handling.Desired Settlement: The additional $4.95 refunded to my card and this company stop scamming individuals

Dear [redacted]
Review: I signed up for a free trial with no additional products to be issued. I agreed to the $4.95 charge for this and did not sign up for additional auto shipments. I was later charged $119.95 with a $2.40 ISA fee which was never autorized along with the fact that they now have also sent additional shippment that I yet to receive and charged me for as well. They are unwilling to refund the amounts that were not authorized. This company scammed me for money that was never authorized for them to draw from my account. I did see where I could authorize the additional auto shippments however I did not click on that I clicked no on that part and yet have been charged for this anyway and these charges were never authorized.
The worse part is the product is no good.Desired Settlement: Since this was not authorized I want the funds refunded to my account. and no further charges to be taken from my account.

Dear [redacted],
Review: I spoke with a customer service rep, [redacted], the end of September requesting to return the electronic cigarette. I advised him that my wife had not even tried it yet, therefore, he gave a wonderful sales pitch that he would give more time for her to try it and I would be able to return it if it did not work out. Also he gave me a 25% discount not to return it and he would not have any auto refills sent until Dec 31. Oct 31, I was charged $70 on my credit card for the auto refills that should have not been sent. My wife called they advised her that they would not talk to her without the last 4 digits of the credit card#. She requested a supervisor but was denied. She called again, getting the same answer. She called a third time and the sales rep, [redacted], spoke with her without the credit card #. First of all it sounds to me like the sales reps do whatever they want and I feel that they did not want to deal with the issue. [redacted] advised her that he could not stop the auto ship and with much resistance, he gave her a RMA# to return only the refill but stated they would not refund the shipping cost of $9.95 and I would have to pay for the return shipping. He would not give her an RMA for the used unpackaged e-cig. Each rep seems to have a different policy and all they want to do is not have a return. This is very poor cust service and consumer fraud. Now I have to wait for shipment that was not suppose to even come and then ship it back at my expense when it was their fault. This company has the rudest cust service that I have ever dealt with.Desired Settlement: I would like the original cost of the e-cig (if they want it back they can give me a RMA#) in the amt of 119.95 and the cost of the refill that they are sending in the amount of $69.90. The call to this company was very upsetting due to the unprofessional, rude customer service reps. they must not have a written policy because they make it up as they go.

Dear [redacted],
Review: Last month I responded to an advertisement for an e-cigarette that Dr. ** recommended, Regal Cigs. Their website www.regalcigs.com advertised an e-cig starter kit for $4.95. I received the starter kit. The great news, according to Dr. **, was that you don't get a recurring bill like you do from most places.I didn't like the product and found a superior substitute.A month later, I received notice that they had begun billing me for recurring shipping of $69.99, plus they'd already taken $119 out of my checking account, plus the $4.95. When I called to stop payment for the $69.99, they told me they'd give me $30 back if I shipped their inferior product back, at my expense. When I began filing a complaint, I realized thousands of others have experienced the same issue. I would like to voice my complaint and hopefully, resolve this matter through monetary reimbursement.Desired Settlement: I can't describe how infuriated I am at having been scammed this way. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN.And I want my money back!

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Review: Regalcigs.com promoted an e-cig starter kit as a free gift to me for completing an Amazon on-line survey on April 8, 2014. Initially, the survey offered me an Amazon $25 gift certificate for completing the survey. BUT, on completion of the survey it said "sorry, all the $25 gift certificates are sold out," but there were two other offers to choose from, one of which was the Regal Cigs starter kit. The offer stated that there was only a $4.95 shipping fee. I accepted the gift and the charge of $4.95 shipping on my bank visa card. Immediately there was a separate $1.99 charge also to my credit card, which had NOT been previously mentioned or authorized by me, to [email protected].
I received the starter kit with the idea that it was a free sample to try their brand. On April 24, 2014, a charge of $119.95 appeared on my bank account/visa statement that I had not authorized. I called regalcigs.com customer service and complained about the unauthorized charge and was told that if I wanted to return it that I must pay a 20% re-stocking fee. I told them that they had misrepresented the offer and that I did not see any mention of it on my receipt nor did I see any mention of the cost of the starter kit. They then offered me a 50% discount on the starter kit and I told them I did not want to keep it and that I wanted a full refund. I was put on hold again and then the call was disconnected by them.
I went to my bank, the Southern Illinois University Employees Credit Union and filed a complaint through them and told them the charge was unauthorized and the Regalcigs.com company misrepresented the promotion. The issue has yet to be resolved through Visa credit card services.Desired Settlement: This kind of false advertising should be banned. This is obviously a bait and switch scam and probably is fraudulently using Amazon.com as a partner. Please warn the public and disallow them from doing further business to innocent consumers.

Review: I completed a Craigslist survey and was offered an electronic cigarette with free shipping and handling for $4.95. I received the product and was charged $4.95. Two weeks later, I noticed that they had debited $119 from my checking account through the debit card I had previously used for the purchase. Upon calling the company, a representative claimed I was on tape agreeing to the full $119 charge. After several calls, I was told that I would receive a full refund 3-5 days after receiving the product returned. I sent out the product on April 4.Desired Settlement: I would like my $119 refunded since I did not agree to these charges.

Dear [redacted],
Review: Regal eCigs is a scam... They know exactly how to manipulate and take advantage of innocent consumers... I came across an ad for a free sample, *just pay s/h. I figured I would take advantage of it. The terms and conditions were not displayed before I submitted my order and gave them my payment information. The confirmation email, nor the the "free" sample I received contained any information about it being a 15 day trial... When I noticed the charge on my bank statement for 119.95 I called the number listed immediately. The customer rep I had the pleasure of speaking to was extremely rude and manipulative. She said the 15 days was up... In addition the poorly made, cheap product broke as soon as I tried it, thus I couldn't return it. She told me I should have called as soon as it happened... I did it was a Friday, past their "business" hours. Even if it wasn't broken the 14 days was up, and they add EVEN MORE for a restocking fee. I instantly canceled my debit card... And notified my bank that I did not authorize the charge. They will try to get my money back but, it's guaranteed. The past two days I have been looking into this unAmerican, and unlawful company. They have been doing this for well over 18 months now... They are stealing and taking advantage of thousands of customers. Just because there are terms and conditions does not make it ethical, nor binding. Especially when only a sentence shows up after you've already submitted your order. This is deception theft... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: You owe hundreds of people apologies and refunds.
Stop stealing, manipulating, and taking advantage of customers. I would absolutely love a class action suit.

Dear [redacted],
Review: On 2/4/2015 I ordered Regal e-Cigs after completing a survey by my ISP. The offer was a “free gift” and Regal e-Cigs was one of the choices. They required $3.95 for shipping and the order confirmation states $3.95 as the total cost. On that day, my credit card had two debits from Regal for $1.96 and $2.01 for a total of $3.97.
On 2/18/2015 my credit card was charged $119.95 by Regal. I called and spoke to Alex. He told me I agreed via the Terms and Conditions to be charged this amount for a refill unless I called back within 14 days to cancel. I told him my order receipt/confirmation makes no mention of a call within 14 days or get charged plus, I have never received any product for the $119.95 I was charged. He said he needs to speak to his supervisor. He returned and offered me 50% refund if I return the starter package. I told him that was not satisfactory and wished to speak to his supervisor. He again put me on hold then returned to say I would receive a $95 refund if I returned the starter package. I again told him that was not satisfactory and he told me if I don’t agree to that, I will receive no refund.
He issued me an RMA to return the starter pack if I chose (RMA: [redacted]) and said I should call back with the tracking number after I send it.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $119.95 charge of 2/18/2015 and no requirement to pay for postage to return the starter pack.

Dear [redacted],
Review: I ordered a 'free trial' of regal Cigs after completing an online survey for another company. I SPECIFICALLY DECLINED the "upgrade" to a 3-month supply, opting only for the trial version which required shipping and handling. On Feb. 22, I found a charge for $119.95 in my bank account. When I called to complain about this, the customer service rep simply repeated over and over that I had "accepted their terms of service" which authorized them to charge more for this amount "after a 14 day trial period." Since (a) I do not recall accepting any such terms and (b) the product itself arrived on the day that it was charged, I find the whole approach of Regal Cigs to be highly deceptive. After a great deal of time listening to how this is all my fault I received what I am told is the necessary process to return the product. I will be doing so tomorrow, registered mail -- another cost for myself. Given the deceptive advertising/ sale practices of this company, I greatly fear that they will not refund my money in a timely fashion and/or will attempt to charge me further. I hope that at the very least this complaint will push Regal Cigs to make a timely and complete refund. I see that the AZ Revdex.com has received 90+ complaints similar to my own so am can only hope that they may change their deceptive practices.Desired Settlement: Full refund of costs associated with deceptive practice -- $119.95 + cost of registered return shipping.

Review: An advertisement popped up on a site I was on. The E-cig was advertised for $1.00. My bank account was charged $3.96 for the product and $1.99 for shipping and handling. I did not authorize the charge for the shipping and handling and I only thought my account would be charged $1.00.Desired Settlement: Refund of all charges.

Review: I was on another site when a popup appeared and said that for visiting the site I was entitled to receive a starter kit for $4.95 I think it was. Instead they charged me $119.95, severely bounced my checking account and I continue to get charges. They never sent the starter kit to begin with so I couldn't send it back. But I'm still amazed at how the $4.95 turned into $119.95. I NEVER would have ordered the ecig for that money! I am on a fixed income and can't square things away with my bank. When my check comes in, the bank will keep a hefty portion of it so I have a choice - pay my rent or grocery shop.Desired Settlement: And I want them to square things away with the bank because I told them they were going to cause an overdraft.

Dear [redacted],
Review: I placed an order online with this company for a "free, pay only shipping and handling" starter kit for my son. After 15 days they charged my account 119.95 for the so called "free" starter kit. I immediately called their customer service department to find out what I was charged for. I was informed that somewhere on their website I was told there would be a charge for this starter kit if I did not contact them within 15 days. There was no where that I saw this statement nor would I have agreed to pay $119.00 for something being advertised as "free", nor would I have agreed to pay that much for something I was purchasing for another person to try. Their advertisement is misleading and suggestive. I believe they prey on consumers with advertising that says "free", but in reality they are going to charge you for it.Desired Settlement: They need to inform customers of added charges in a manner that is understood, or at least seen. Not hidden in small print, or where consumers would not normally look.

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Review: It started with a $4.95 deal (3-13-13). Then sent me another offer for the same amount (3-29-13). Then on 4-9-13 I called, complained and was told that I had 30 days to try it or return for my money back. They would not let me off the phone until I agreed to a $59.95 charge for the first one and then $24.00 restocking fee for the second one which did not and still does not add up to the charges they said. I promptly returned the second one within thier 30 day time limit and was told again I have to pay restocking fee, even requesting and being told that this account was closed, $24.00. I called my bank to complain (again) and they put $59.97 back in my account until resolved. The last time I complained to my bank and Regal was on 4-24-13. Not only have they not even keep up their end of a bad deal, I find out tonight that the bank reversed the $59.97 tonight, 5-24-13 back to Regal. I'm at wits end. I have bank statements to prove. I do not care about the $280.00 something dollars they took from me, I need it to STOP and the $59.98 that was took out of my bank tonight is the final straw. If I can get Regal to stop taking my money and give me back the $119.95 they have charged me for the kit I sent back in April in their time frame.Regal took a total of about $275 and I got to keep 1 starter kit I did not even want.Desired Settlement: Refund of $119.95 for the kit I sent back with delivery confirmation in their time limit (within 30 days) and PLEASE stop taking money out of my bank account!
