RE: *** *** ***
Case: ***
Penn Credit takes pride in following all Federal and State Collection calls.
Our client the Delaware Department of Transportation placed an account in our office on July 10, in the amount of $for a DELDOT Toll Fine. These fines occur when a person goes through an ** *** lane and the car does not have an ** *** transponder or DELDOT’s system does not detect one on board.
Our client sends out a series of notifications to the address where the license plate is registered explaining the issues and the fine. The account will get sent to a 3rd party collection agency if the account is not resolved.
As the 3rd party collection agency Penn Credit does not have the authority to reduce the fine. We did receive a request from MrSchepis for verification of the fine on July 24, 2014. We have started the process to request this information from our client.
Thank you for your assistance in the resolution of this matter

Penn Credit reviewed and investigated the complaint Please be advised that Penn Credit maintains established policies and procedures to ensure adherence to bankruptcy law. Upon further investigation and research, it was verified that *** ***’s bankruptcy was discharged on
September 12, 2016, however neither *** *** *** or Penn Credit appeared to be included in the list of creditors or on Schedule F of the bankruptcy. As a result, it is possible this wasn’t included in *** ***’s bankruptcy However, Penn Credit did purge and return this account to the original creditor notifying them of *** ***’s bankruptcy claim. Penn Credit also sent deletion notification to the credit bureaus. *** *** will not receive further communication from Penn Credit regarding the matter Please advise *** *** to contact me directly should he have any questions or concerns. My direct line is ###-###-####, or he can email me at Thomas.P***@penncredit.com Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter

I have confirmed with our client [redacted] County Clerk that they are still showing the citation they placed in our office for collection as outstanding and due.
If [redacted][redacted] could provide documentation the account has been paid I would happen to forward it to our client for them to research as she is stating it was paid prior to coming to our office for collection
Thank you for your assistance in the resolution of this matter

Case:    [redacted]

Penn Credit takes pride in following all Federal and State Collection calls.

Our Client [redacted] placed an account in our office on 4/4/2013 in the amount of $2349.39 for items that were purchased by [redacted] dating back to 8/15/2007.

On May 3, 2013 [redacted] agreed to pay $100.00 a month towards her outstanding balance.

On July 9, 2013 we contacted [redacted] due to not receiving her payment by the agreed upon date, during this conversation a new agreement of $50.00 a month was set up.

All further attempts to reach [redacted] have only been made when we Penn Credit did not receive the agreed upon payment.   [redacted] has missed the following months in her payment agreement.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  This is the status update/feedback I was requesting in my previous inquiries to Penn Fed that went without a response.  I am confident as long as there's good communication this dispute will be resolved in a timely manner.  Thanks in advance for your supportRegards,

Penn Credit did review and investigate the complaint.   Please advise [redacted] that according to our records, this complaint serves as the first notification Penn Credit received pertaining to the matter.   Penn Credit located and removed the phone numbers as provided in this...

complaint.  Please notify [redacted] that she will not receive further calls regarding the matter.  Penn Credit apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.   Penn Credit does offer an, “Opt out” option when a wrong phone number is called.  This function removes the wrong phone number and prevents sensitive information from being disclosed.   Please notify [redacted] to contact me directly should she have any questions or concerns.  My direct line is ###-###-####, or she can email me at [redacted]@penncredit.com.   Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

This is a scam!!! They say I owe the state of South Carolina for 'wages owed'. I live in Virginia. Never stepped foot in South Carolina. They asked for my SSN n I refused to give it to them. Then he asked for a copy of my w2 and I refused. He read my information back to me and when I corrected him and announced my profession with my correct tittle. He actually hung the telephone up on me and when I called back the number was disconnected. DON'T TRUST THEM....

Revdex.com:
I thank Penn Credit for reaching out to the original creditor and resolving the issue.  As the balance is now zero, there is no basis for complaint.

Penn Credit reviewed and investigated the complaint.    Please be advised that Penn Credit received [redacted] letter of dispute stating she isn’t responsible for her 2010 state taxes because she moved from the State of Maryland in August 2011, and due to paying her 2012 state...

taxes.  Unfortunately, the letter of dispute and supporting documentation provided isn’t sufficient proof that [redacted] isn’t responsible for her 2010 state income taxes.    The reason [redacted] received a validation notice following her initial dispute regarding her 2010 State of Maryland Comptroller taxes is because the State of Maryland Comptroller sent Penn Credit a new delinquent account regarding her 2011 state taxes.  This account was forwarded to Penn Credit on September 11, 2017, following her letter of dispute.      Per [redacted]’s request, Penn Credit updated her file as a cease and desist.  [redacted] will not receive further communication from Penn Credit regarding the matter.   Penn Credit cannot speak on behalf of the conversation [redacted] had with the State of Maryland Comptroller advising her there is no record of these delinquent taxes; however, Penn Credit is willing to provide verification of the debt to [redacted] for her review.  Please advise [redacted] to contact me directly and request this information.  I cannot provide verification of the debt without her consent due to her request to cease and desist.   Penn Credit wants to help [redacted] bring resolution to the matter and requests that she provides Penn Credit with supporting documentation including a copy of her filed 2010 and 2011 state taxes.  Once received, Penn Credit will forward this information to the State of Maryland Comptroller to investigate.    If [redacted] has any questions or concerns she can contact me directly.  My name is Thomas P[redacted], I can be reached toll free at [redacted]; or emailed at [redacted]
Thank you for your assistance and resolution regarding the matter.

Penn Credit did review and investigate the complaint.   Please advise [redacted] that the documentation he forwarded to Penn Credit Corporation has been sent directly to the State of Maryland Comptroller.  The State of Maryland Comptroller is still researching the matter and has placed...

the account on hold.   Once the State of Maryland Comptroller completes their investigation they will update us on the status of the account.  Upon resolution, Penn Credit will follow up with [redacted] to notify him of the outcome.    Please advise [redacted] that Penn Credit does not data furnish for the State of Maryland Comptroller, as a result we won’t place the account on his credit bureau reports. I was also able to verify with the State of Maryland Comptroller that they have not placed a lien on the account.      Please notify [redacted] to contact me directly should he have any questions or concerns.  My direct line is ###-###-####, or he can email me at [redacted]@pennCredit.com.   Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

Please be advised that we are not attempting to contact [redacted]. [redacted] in reference to an account for her deceased son.  We were attempting to contact her in reference to six accounts in our office where she received medical treatment from our client the [redacted] Hospital.

[redacted]. [redacted] contacted our office on June 17, 2014 around 8:25 am, where she notified us that we were attempting to reach her at a phone number she could not be reached, and she was unable of the outstanding balance.  The agent informed [redacted]. [redacted] we would remove the phone number in question and list it as a bad number.  The agent verified the address our client provided us was correct and informed [redacted]. [redacted] that both the hospital and Penn Credit have sent information showing the outstanding balances to the address.   [redacted]. Conversation ended when the agent offered to request the original bills from our client and have them sent to [redacted]. [redacted].

I did review and investigate the account.
