Penn Credit was attemptring to contact a person by the same name as *** ***’s year old daughter*** *** did discuss his concerns with Penn Crdit
staff including a supervisor
Please inform *** *** that Penn Credit was attempting to contact a person by the same name as his daughter and in our attempt to reach this person left messages for his daughterThere was not any malice meant and we apologize for the inconvience

Penn Credit did review and investigate the complaintI have answered Mr*** concern’s in the attorney general response dated June 10, (Below)
On June 29, I did forward Mr*** validation directly to the original creditor and placed the account in a disputed statusAdditionally
Penn Credit deleted the credit reporting on June 11, and will be updated if *** Hospital provides Mr*** validation of the debt and states it owed
Penn Credit has ceased all collection activity until *** Hospital has returned the results of the investigation back to Penn CreditIf Penn Credit does not receive a response by August 29, we will close and return the account due to a lack of response

I reviewed and investigated the complaintI understand that Mr*** is disputing the debts stating insurance should have paid them and that he provided insurance information twice in order to have paid
Please advise Mr***, that we have never communicated with him in reference to the account(s) placed in our office according to our records
Additionally, these may be co-pays or self pay accountsI would like Mr*** to review his Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for the service dates of 11/26/& 10/24/
If Mr*** reviews and still feels he does not owe the money, please advise him to send the documentation supporting his claim and then I will forward to the hospital for review and proper credited if deemed correct

Penn Credit reviewed and investigated the complaint Please advise *** *** that Penn Credit is a Third-Party Collection Agency attempting to collect debts on behalf of *** and *** *** ***. I updated *** *** files with the dispute and requested verification of
the debts from the original creditors. Once received, Penn Credit will mail the itemized breakdowns to *** ***. In the event *** is still disputing the debts, please notify to contact Penn Credit directly to provide additional reasoning and any applicable supporting documentation regarding the dispute(s) Penn Credit will update the credit bureaus of the disputes accordingly, and as required by law. These trade lines will not be deleted from *** *** credit bureau reports unless the dispute(s) are confirmed and validated by the original creditor(s). In the event *** *** is claiming fraud for one or more of these matters, it will be necessary that a police report is filed. Once received, Penn Credit will forward the report and any supporting documentation directly to the original creditor(s) to investigate. Penn Credit reviewed and investigated the complaint
*** *** did discuss his account with a representative of Penn Credit
on
1/21/and agreed to settle the accountHe did provide his account
information to do so; however, the representative did not update the account to
the status to accept the amount as a settlement (human error), resulting in
delay of debt satisfationUpon notification it was reissued and a settlement
payment was made on 2/12/
Penn Credit tapes every call and the call was listened
to and there was not any instruction of not calling a number that *** *** states he didAdditionally, *** *** was not told that the account would be deleted from the bureaus upon
payment but updated to settled in full
In order to resolve the delay in reporting the update
to the credit bureau due to our error I have deleted the reporting electronically
through E-Oscar. I am sure considering
the circumstances that *** *** will be satisfied with the resolutionIt is
what he requested in his complaint
I am not able to inlcude the E-Oscar form in the
response due to personal information included in the report without his authorization to do soIf *** *** would like a copy of the form please have him contact Tom P*** directly

I didn't know if you received the document or it the document met your needsI asked you to contact me so if I have to request additional information I know exactly what to request
I am just trying to get what you require and me guessing will only delay the resolutionI also provided my email address if you didn't want to call and discuss

Penn Credit was calling a wrong phone numberOn August 31, the same date the complaint was received *** *** notified us we were calling a wrong phone number and the number was immediatley blocked from receiving any additional calls
