I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe teller would not have been able to see if the check I deposited had an account with out enough funds but the teller would have been able to tell me that the check hasn't finished being cleared and there was still a chance for it to be bouncedWhen I went to the teller to deposit the check, I was told it would take days to clearYour teller gave me misinformationThe check was not clearedYour teller could have warned me that there was still possibility of the money bouncing as I was withdrawing the money that was only available because I deposited the checkAs a bank your responsibility should be to protect your clients, not to allow them to be scammed by foreign entitiesAs a bank you should have contacted the other bank before making the money available or at least give me warning that the check could still bounceIf you aren't protecting your clients then you are coming short as a bank, making your clients vulnerable to a lot of attacksPeople go to banks because they feel they should be able to trust the tellers and their money will be safe and secure and that the bank won't give them access to money that isn't availableIt really baffles me that it cleared everywhere but still bouncedThe fault goes on your banking policies and your teller for misinforming meI would not have withdrawn the money if I wasn't told by the teller it was abaiavailI wouldn't have withdrawn the money if I knew it could still bounceI would not have withdrawn the money if the teller told me the check was suspiciousI would not have withdrawn the money if the teller told me that they didn't finish the process for clearing the check but put the money in my account anywayI would not have withdrawn the check if it wasn't for your bank's unprotective policies and negligent tellers.Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My issue with the following response is that my refund request explicated requested for the refund to be returned to meIn the fax request I provided my contact information in case there were any questions/concernsIf the bank was not going to honor my refund request, then I would expect that the next action would be not to refund me Instead, the bank refunded the person who paid last (my ex-husband)When I spoke with the representatives waiting to get my refund returned everyone assured me that I would be the one getting the refund back However, that was not the case the the refund was returned to my ex-husband Once it was realized that the refund was returned to my ex-husband I was even told that the monies would be returned to meThis did not happen eitherTo make this correct I am still requesting my refund sent back to me from the bank since it was given to the incorrect person (my ex-husband) Regards, [redacted]

Not once, did they apologize for the inconvenience that a number of there employees has caused. If the case was that the bank decided to conduct business with me from the beginning , that should have been addressed up front. This was a process drawn out over a year's time span. A clear indication that not one person at M and T bank has an understanding of what is really going on. Nor, has a solution to fix it. I am totally OK with not being able to do business with this company. Requesting a policy change so that M&T acts like a reputable financial institution rather than a Loan SharkAction Request: When a problem occurs that the M &T contact client by phone, leaving a reasonable message, and contact number so that any problem can be resolved fairlyThey had called before when they wanted me to refinance, so why not again? Notes: I sent an early payment which the bank returned, then stated a policy never mentioned before about post dated checksMy original loan was with [redacted] and I never had any problemsThis company (M&T) is a unknown financial institution to be researchedHow they got my account has still not been explainedIf they had cashed it, the check, the money was in the bank since I was sending the payment early because I was going to be traveling Instead they recorded that they did not receive the payment and put it on my credit reportCosting me long term problemsI wish them (M&T) to act like a reputable institution and give my loan back to [redacted] *!! Consumer filed a new complaint referencing this old ID# I filed a complaint against M&T Bank over their failed repayment plan systemTo resolve the issue M&T recognized their error, agreed to remove all late fees for the timeframe involved, agreed to report me to the credit bureaus as current for the past months and offered me a Loan Modification PackageI though this was fair and accepted their offerI completed the loan modification and returned itWhile I awaited a decision I held my 08/29/payment since I did not know how much was be dueI thought I had a good chance of getting the modification since they scheduled an appraisal of my homeWhen I didn't get a decision I called and was told that I was deniedI made the 08/payment that dayI was told that I could have been considered for a refinance if I had not mad the 08/29/payment lateFirst of all, that was never an offer, second of all if they made me current for the last months 08/should not have been considered because it was not paid days lateI feel like they intended to help me at allI don't want something for nothingI am a single mom who has been struggling to keep my home for the last yearsI just need some helpTo make matters worst, I have reached out to another financial institution who was trying to assist meThe problem now is that my credit reports shows my M&T account as days late for the past monthsThat has taken my credit score down to below and now they cant help meI called M&T and was told that they only showed one late payment and that was for 08/I was transferred to customer service who said they show me as late times in the last months even though they have agreed that I paid as agreed during the repayment planThe rep advised me that he could not see any agreement to report me as current during the repayment period and advised to take my complaint to the credit bureau for investigationHe said he was not removing anything or reporting anything that he did not seeWhen asked who would be able to see the info he said whoever was involvedI give up!!Not only are they not going to help, but they are now preventing me from getting help from any other sourceI believe they just want to take my home Correction to a credit report If M&T had explained that by making me current, I was eligible to refinance and offered refinance as an option I would never had filled out the loan modification packageI don't think they should count the 08/payment as late since they never sent me the denialI had to call them for the decisionI held the payment hoping that the modified amount would be lessI would like the lateness removed for 08/I would like to have my information reported to the credit bureau as current for the timeframe of the repayment plan as they agreed so I can try to get help from another bank

M & T Bank does not acknowledge that their representative caused us financial strain by providing inaccurate information regarding our mortgage. She did in fact say on a recorded line that Cenlar had paid us up until our next mortgage payment would would be due on the 28th of July. PERIOD. As I mentioned, I did not make this up, I did not intentionally put our family in financial strain. We were AHEAD on our mortgage payments and had never been late. No compensation has been made on there part to help with the strain that they have caused. They have ignored the fact we were given the wrong information about our payments due upon transfer, and have only given us the same information that we already have. This issue, in case they missed my multiple points is regarding the wrong information about our payments due upon acquiring our loan from another lender - not the bi-weekly draft. The record provided by M&T and myself clearly show one missed payment in January of followed by on-time payments This has been verified over the phone by an account representative and two supervisors at M&T, I have the dates if they wish to pull the recordings I am still contending that I should only be responsible for one late fee and should not have been charged a late fee for the consecutive months I was on-time. Ms*** This dealership falsified my information on this credit application *** *** *** defrauded me the consumer and M&T Bank during the vehicle financing process*** *** *** took advantage of me, as well as your financial institutionSince, discovering this new information, how is M&T Bank going to hold this dealership accountable for their actions so that no other consumer doesn't have to endure what I did. I signed a handwritten application with my correct information on it and *** *** *** sent you a typed contract with bogus information on itWhy would I give the bank my wrong phone, wrong employer's number, and wrong salary? The dealership is currently under investigation by the State of New JerseyThey have a history of illegal dealings, they were sued in for violating consumer protection laws and opened up under a new name. The dealership failed to inform me that the car that had been severely damaged (which devalue the market value of the vehicle) and currently still have problems They informed me that M&T Bank charged me $bank fee which was (M&T Bank is in fact financing this bogus charge) M&T Bank should be held equally responsible for the damage that has been done I immediately called the bank to inform them of the actions of this shady dealership before the money was release and before I had possession of the vehicle and didn't receive any assistance from M&T BankI would really appreciate a direct dialogue with Ms*** She can contact me via email My email address is *** Regards, aiesha Barber

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRegards, *** *** *** I have tried to attach an email explaining reasons for noting this as a unresolved complaintM&T still insists on late payments, changing dates of alleged late payments with each contactM&T states Bayview paid Jan.-Feb.-March paymentsThis is falseI had already paid the mortgage paymentsThe very essence of my complaint is their are not any late payments at the time M&T obtained the loan from Bank of America, nor sinceI requested two payoff statementsOne listing the payoff prior to M&T claim of the $1800-$in arrears and the payoff after the credit of this amountI received only one which still lists the $1800-$in the payoff balanceAlso I requested a copy of the letter to all credit bureaus to be attached to this complaintM&T didn"t provide the copy and changed alleged late payment dates to Jan.-Feb.-March which further damages my credit recordThe letter I received from M&T states no late payments from Dec.2014-JanThis letter dated March 29, Within a week later I received a letter from M&T stating the JanFebAnd March payments were late,isting Bayview "paid them for me." I had already paid these mortgage paymentsThe payments were not lateUnless the next correspondance I receive states there are no late payments and have not been late payments as I have listed here and tvere is an attached copy if correction letter stating such to all credit bureaus, and as well a payoff statement attached that shows a payoff of $less this is UNRESOLVED COMPLAINT against M&T and I request it listed as suchM&T knows I am unable to refinance my mortgage with another company if there are any claim from them of late payments within the ladt months.Thank you, *** ***
