I have no complaints, the staff is quite pleasant

I have had a great experience with One Main FinancialStaff have been professional and courteousMy account has never had any issues that would cause me to worry

Problem one:
The first loan with OneMain I paid offThis loan has still not been reported as paid in full to credit bureaus
Problem 2:
After paying off my first loan, they showed me a credit report showing my credit score increased A LOT by 40-pointsWhich it obviously didn't increase since the reports I and another business have show the loan still active and NOT being paid off AND same scoreThis was a mock up but that's NOT what I was told
Problem 3:
After paying off the first loan I took out a second loan based on their infoDecided next day I wanted to cancel the loan because what they were telling me and reality wasn't adding upbut was told I'd have to wait until the agent was back in the officeI cancelled the policy in their office within the cancellation periodI realize the loan inquiry would show up on my credit report, however, I asked if this second loan (the loan itself) would show up on my creditThe agent said "no" and confirmed it with someone by phoneAnd she stated since I canceled within the cancellation period the loan would not show up on my credit report
So they didn't report the first loan paid off, but did report the second loan as the full loan amount even though the agent said it wouldn't be reportedThis has hurt my credit and has affected my ability to take care of my handicap financial needs
Inaccurate reporting and lies, do not allow a customer to make an informed decision on doing business with your companyAnd if you had of told me the truth I would NOT have taken out the second loanPeriod
FYI: lies = fraud

Bunch of *** *** and knuckleheads especially who workes in San Francisco office
The try to threat me to admit that I made a mistake but actually it was their errorBut I did what every person will do in my situation: I went to the Attorney office to file a claim for harassment and threatsWe will see soon
Do not do business at least with this branch

I am quite happy with the services and follow on by One Main Their staff was courteous, efficient and easy to work with and after monts--we have not had a single issue or bad experience

I kept receiving emails and letters in the mail telling me I was pre approved for a loan, a larger amount than I ever expectedI was skeptical, but my stupidity I got a loan for someone else who didn't have credit, now I'm stuck paying it when they ran for the hills, I know my stupidityI am CLUELESS when it comes to loans, interest rates, all a foreign language to meI was lostBut after talking to a lady there, they convinced me that this would be a GREAT way to build my greatThe rest was gibberish, I didn't understand anything and she didn't explain muchI knew my payment was around $a monthI thought ok I can do thisAfter months of auto draft I learned that only $of that goes to the payment, the rest is interestI'm still completely confused as none of this was explained to meI went back In and the lady was a total *** who hardly spoke EnglishI feel absolutely stuck and It will take me forever to pay it offI suppose it's my stupidity for not understanding, I'm young and unfortunately they don't teach important things like this in schoolI completely regret this and wish it was explained way moreI felt pushed into itREAD THE FINE PRINT

I called them on 9/to schedule a service call for a gas leakthey told me $for a service calli agreed to 8am the next day I was able to find someone to come and fix it that day, so I called back and canceled I called them the wrong company name since I had talked to so many many companies that day, but regardless, they emailed me asking me to confirm the cancellation Then they called at which point I again confirmed the cancellation They still charged me the service call, no one came to my house at 8amI called them friday 9/asking about a refund, they said someone would call back, no one did I called them monday 10/asking about a refund, they said someone would call back, no one did Then on 10/i received an email stating that because I said the wrong company name when I called to cancel, they wouldn't issue a refund when I questioned that, they stated that it wasn't because of that, it was because I didn't call at allwhich I clearly did since they emai

I think they are scammers adding things on your loan without telling you the cost then when you ask them to take it off they tell you they can't until the loan is paid and then they will give you a refund......word of advise DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY

I was fairly pleased The biggest problem for me is their limited hours They are not open on Saturday and they close relatively early during the week I work 8:30-5:Monday through Friday

When I got my loanOne of the oppositions they offer is insurance, to cover you in case you lose your job or get injuredAt first wasn't sure if I wanted or needed itSo I got anyway just to protect myselfA couple of months later I got injured at workThe great team at One Main walked me through the necessary steps to file a claimMy payments are covered through the insuranceWithout their help and that coverageI would've never been able to afford the paymentsThank you guys for not only the loan, but for being there when I needed it most

extremely easy to work with very polite knowledgeable in their job very pleasant all around great experience

Back in July if not mistaken I was reviewing my checking account and found I made the mistake of paying my account online which I shouldn't have because it comes out automatically so I contacted the office and found that Terrance G*** was the only one to credit me with that overpayment so I spoke with him and said I would email him a copy from my statement off my smart phone I did that and a week passed I heard nothing from him so I assumed the refund was being issues so and it was not I actually had to call him back only to find out he needed that statement copy from my bank I did that on 7/in which my daughter delivered it to Ms Leslie and she made sure he got the copy so I'm thinking it was a go and he would issue the refund didn't happen in the meantime I had to go to Georgia due to my son being very ill and didn't think about it with all this going on so I arrived back on Wednesday 8/contact the office on Friday the 11th unfortunately he was off and was not due to return on 8/so Ms Leslie tried to assist me with no avail she didn't see any notes in the system that he had ever talked to me or find any of the documents that I had emailed him so she left him notations that I had called so still on Monday I had to call the office still not speaking to him so Ms Leslie asked when could I come to pick up that check so when I got to the office he still did not speak with me nor did he apologize for his lack in issuing me a refund and also when he handed my my check he didn't introduce himself just handed me my check I thought that was rude & so unprofessional customer service and I do have a lot of experience in this field having worked with various types of customers over years in the work force and I must say if it wasn't for
Ms Leslie's help and assuring me I would get my refund for which she gave me excellent service even though she couldn't issue me my refund and give the company a star rating but Terrance I give him a

Colby and Leah are always professional, helpful and courteous every time I speak to them

At One Main Financial.....they understood what my needs were At the time, I needed that financial window to open, and One Main Financial made that happen They made me feel comfortable and made every effort to assist me I do have to include that their entire staff are great They work as a team and they will be there for you too as they were for me

I loved how fast and easy is was to applyAnd when approvedThey gave me the walk through of everything and made me feel good about my decision on going to them in my time of need !

Service was very poorLooks like they don't want to help me out

Staff is great know my husband has cancer always ask how he's doing

Pleasant and well informed staff offering a great service
