This company was very friendly and helpfulThey answered all my questions before I could even askI would definitely apply for a loan with them again in the future and recommend them to anybody else who wished to do so

Have gotten into a few tight spaces and had no way to make the payment Erin went above and beyond to do anything possible to help me out Highly recommended, if you get in a bind call them and they will work with you

I did the application on line on a Sunday and Monday morning someone contacted me to finish the application and was approved right away

My first couple experiences were good then I received an email stating that I was preapproved for an additional $as long as I met criteriaI put in the information and received a page stating I was approved for a secured loan and that my current vehicle on file was enough to cover the loan valueThere was no disclaimer of any kindThen it took me to a page to upload my documents proof of insurance,income,etcthen I received a phone call from the branch stating they would have to send it all to the underwriters and they did a hard inquiry on my creditLastly I received an email stating the approval would be contingent on meeting criteria not at all what the initial page saidThis is just a scam to run people's credit so that people like myself that are in the rebuilding process will always have to use them and no be able to go to local banksAt least that is my opinion of why the marketing department for this company would do this.I spoke with the district manager and he acted like this was the first he heard of it and wanted me to send him a picture of the page of course when I tried to go back to retrieve it I can only log in to my accountI will be paying off my loan as soon as possible and not utilizing this company in the future.I hope others will do the same

I give this company stars Very professional and hassle-free process When securing a loan from this company, please be advised that smaller amounts are done under Rule of 78's The interest over the term is the same as simple interest, but interest charges are applied earlier in the pay period which means the amount applied to the principal is less in the early stages of the term If you intend to pay your loan off early, look for simple interest loans If you keep the loan to the end of its term, the interest is the same for both OneMain thoroughly explained this to me during the loan process so there were no surprises

They were very courtious and the paperwork was ready for me when I got there, do I didn't have to spend a lot of time there

To begin with, this is largely my fault I admit that I have poor credit, but it is due to circumstance as opposed to choice I also should have realized that when this company was acquired by SpringLeaf that they would never be able to help me
With that said, however, there is a lot I wish to file a complaint about, the main thing is poor customer service
I filled out an online application on Tuesday, September 5th The person who was supposed to "assist" me was MonicaI was unable to talk with her at the moment, so I attempted to call her back I left a total of four voicemail messages, none of which were returned, which should have been my second indicator to just walk away from this fiasco
Everyone I talked to at the agency was unpleasant and terse on the phone I never heard back from Monica
Well, the next person to "assist" me was Kim I was told to provide my paycheck stub, fill out a contact sheet, etc I spent the next couple of hours gathering everything together The end result? I was denied
The customer service at this place is absolutely abysmal How it should have been handled was very simple When the application was filled out, there should have been an instant yes/no answer Telling people that they must provide further information not only raises people's hopes, it inconveniences them
It is no surprise that One Main Financial turned me down They are a part of Springleaf Financial now Both business entities deluge people with offers of loans, usually at a substantial interest rate, and they have a high denial rate Probably because all of their mailings are full color
It is bad enough to have to deny someone The customer service team, and I use the term loosely, needs to be coached on empathy, and treating people with dignity and respect
