Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Tuesday afternoon I received a call from Varun G***; an escalation analyst at MicrosoftAccording to him there are ways of getting back the Windows I had been told that Windows wasn’t retrievable, by some at Microsoft, and others told me it could be restored within days after the down loadVarun G [redacted] told me that wasn’t exactly trueAfter days I probably would have to reload some programs and possibly files that would have been deleted Going by the information I had been given by Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard: And not having heard back from Microsoft within the day period, I had decided to sell that computer because it had become a useless piece of equipment When I told MrG***’s that had I sold the computer, his response was, “Since you sold the computer there is really nothing we can do.” Microsoft hadn’t made any attempt to contact me until now; some days after my original complaint I had been lead to believe that there was no way I could get back the system, programs and files that I had lost because of their upgrade As far as I’m concerned, Microsoft never intended to help, and waited out the time frame in order to come up with another excuse Sincerely, [redacted]
