I used to always use this company when Dewayne was the one doing the inspections. Well, not anymore! He has employees doing the scopes now and we just had a major fail. We had them do a sewer scope and the employee could not get the camera through to the house from the clean out. So he went into the house and scoped out. Well he ended up skipping about 5 feet of line and the reason he could not get the camera into the house from the clean out was because it had a major break. The employee said the line was in perfect condition, when in fact it was not. The buyers moved in and the toilets started backing up causing a huge mess. They ended up having to call a plumber in an emergency and ended up getting charged way more than they should. When I called Dewayne about the situation, he blamed everyone else except for his employee and his company. He was combative and uncooperative. He told me the only day he could come to the house to check it out was Father's Day because he lives 175 miles away. So he is obviously not very involved in the business anymore if he lives 175 miles away! We never got a refund, we never got an apology and he definitely did not help the buyers out with their huge bill. If you want your sewer line scoped for real, I advise you to use another company that actually cares! And since I have had this experience I have talked to several of my real estate friends who said they have also had bad experiences with this company recently.

I always use Mainline for my inspections. Since they only inspect, I know they aren't fabricating problems with my plumbing. They found a clogged line at my first place and saved me a huge chunk of money.

Mainline Services was very helpful in providing a second sewer scope to resolve a Real Estate Inspection, and they did it on a Saturday at 5 PM! Dustin was a great resource, having to deal with a stuck access point & a room full of interested parties. He very professionally stepped us through the process & narrated the entire scope, resolving our concerns, and allowing us to move forward with the transaction. Dustin was great, and hat's off to Dewayne for hiring good technicians. Thanks again!

He was so great we used him on the house we are purchasing as well. Again showed up right on time, scoped the line and was a pleasure to work with.

Matt came out to verify a locate from another company, that I thought was suspect. Matt saved me hundreds of dollars by showing me the exact location of the sewer problem and not digging where the first company indicated. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

On Wednesday, April 18, I had a great experience with Mainline Services. Matt P (District Manager) did a sewer inspection on a home for which I was under contract. He was professional, funny and informative. I learned a lot from the guy not only about his services but also about best practices in taking care of the sewer system in my home.

Matt at Mainline Services made our day! We had a bad experience with another company with questionable ethics and thought we would have to spend $18,000 to dig up our yard. Matt showed up on time and was very honest and professional. Matt did a very thorough job of identifying our problem and let me watch the live video while explaining what we were dealing with. We do not need to dig up our line! We had a weird plug build up that the other services would only punch a small hole through and it would clog up in a few months and backup into the basement again. Matt referred me to a great plumber who was able to clean my line correctly for the first time in 10 years. I will only use Mainline Services for inspections and will refer them to all my friends as well.
