I am rejecting this response because: This is what I have heard since day one that we have been dealing with this company. This has been going on since February.

I am rejecting this response because the property supposed to be move-in ready and having to schedule appointments for multiple issues on day 1(April 28th) of the move-in is unacceptable. Currently, the issues are being resolved. We have asked to be compensated for 1/2 month rent and the offer that was provided by MSRENEWAL was $100 compensation. $100 compensation is not a good offer after the customer experience was broken. I will settle for a compensation of $300 of reduce rent for June after all issues are resolved.

My husband and I rented this house from Main street renewal in July. Worst experience ever from the time we stepped foot in the house. The "[redacted]" was of absolute no help. He was supposed to do a walk through of the house with us but refused to do so, took our money said "if you have any problems please call me" and took off. Problem number 1. The grass was so grown up that we couldn't walk through the yard. He assured us that someone would be out to mow... no one ever did. We had the water company come out on that very same day to turn water on. The water softener was busted and was shooting water above the house, there were leaks in both bathrooms and kitchen. The dishwasher wasn't even installed, simply thrown in the whole. The water utility guy asked if he could bypass the softener for one day until MS could send out someone to replace the water softener. MS refused to do so and we were forced to go to a hotel room that night due to no water. Someone did finally come out the next NIGHT to fix the leaks etc. After finally getting the water issues resolved we were able to move our stuff in. While doing so we discovered that 4 plugs in the kitchen did not work. I text messaged MS about this and was told that they weren't concerned with this until we sent our walk through papers in. That was July. It's now October and they still aren't fixed. Just a couple of weeks ago the bathroom shower faucet broke and the water wouldn't stop running. We were forced yet again to shut water off for a day. Someone finally came out the next afternoon to fix that problem along with the plugs. My husband made it very clear that I would have to leave at a certain time that day. They showed up an hr before it was time for me to leave. In result, they rushed through these "fixes" and left. The shower faucet is "fixed" but still drips all day long and can not be completely turned off. The plugs... we have 1 working plug in the kitchen now. I asked before they left if all of them worked and I was "assured" that they did... wrong! The day after, my son was taking stuff out of his closet (same wall as the leaking shower faucet) and discovered that one of the boxes was wet on the bottom. We took everything out and sure enough the carpet and wall were wet. I'm assuming from the shower problem. My husband called the maintenance guy immediately and left a messsage stating we were concerned bc this could cause mold and we have children and also the plugs still do not work... no one ever called back. A few days later I went on their website and sent them a message and a service request for these problems. A week after my message and we've heard nothing. These people could care less and they always seem like it's total inconvenience for them to take care of their property. Not to mention most of the people I have talked to are completely rude. I will never use MS again and I would certainly never recommend them to anyone. They only care that they are getting paid.

Good Morning,
I have reviewed the Complaint and spoken to the branch. They did indicate that screening was never run for the property as $40 was received but once it was identified there were 3 pets, they did not proceed with screening. They did send a request here to Corporate...
which is in the Ticket System. I have, however, requested a refund of the $40. If you do not receive this refund within 7 business days, please contact me at ###-###-####.
Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: My...
children and I are creeped out an uncomfortable in this home. I have to live in a house the the pest control guy treated the rats an now it smells like they may be dead in the walls or attic. Also the fireplace leaks from the rain the pours into the home with it rain. The may be mold in the home because of it. The carpet smells like urine. The specialist that call had no compassion, concern about my children an I in this discussing home. This company should have cleaned this home up before renting it. The pest control guy said it’s a history of rats here. I’m very unhappy here.

In reviewing this complaint, we were able to confirm with the local branch that unfortunately an application had been submitted on the aforementioned property prior to Ms. [redacted]. We allow multiple applications on a property, however our policy is that applications are reviewed on a first...
come, first serve basis and the applicant who submitted their application prior had been approved, which is why we were unable to get Ms. [redacted] into the property that she had applied for. We have reached out to discuss any concerns with Ms. [redacted] and will be refunding the application fee as requested.
This is the worst Leasing company, do NOT rent from them . We have lived in a house for 1 yr and 5 months and have had so many maintenance issues and they just take their sweet time getting to them and the vendor they hire to fix problems is just as bad, the quality of work that they do is not good. I really do not even want to give them 1 star but have no choice. We pay a TON of money to live in a house that has more issues than you can imagine from plumbing back up, fence issues, dishwasher breaking, etc.
We had issues with our backyard fencing falling down on numerous occasions and they would say its fixed and the next wind it would fall right back apart. It is so wobbly if you touch it it breaks.
The most recent incident was our dishwasher started to not drain back in Aug/Sep and I called in a couple of times and they finally sent out their maintenance guy who told me he was working past hours so he couldn't look deep into it but would zip tie the hose to help drainage. Needless to say that did nothing and the dishwasher completely stopped working. I made a request for maintenance on Oct 10th and got an immediate response that they would get one ordered right away. Come the first week of Nov. with nothing I reach out to Tommy the maintenance guy who told me that he thought I had ordered it?? As a tenant I told him we don't order a dishwasher-he said there was some confusion but he would get it figured out. November 10th I again reached out and they said it would be here soon. We finally received the dishwasher which was dropped off at the front door and they left. I called November 12 to let MS know we needed someone to come out and install it that we removed the old dishwasher and just needed the new installed however we had standing water on the floor from the water in the old one. The lady I spoke to told me it wasn't an emergency and that there would be no one coming out to install it until next week. Mind you we now have went without one for 5 weeks and if it wasn't for me continually following up we still wouldn't have one. I proceeded to tell her that there was a good amount of water all in the kitchen that we clean up from the leakage and it should be an emergency at this point given we have went so long and the smell we deal with along with the water mess. She was extremely rude and told me that wasn't an emergency and all she would do is submit a ticket for install next week.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!

I am rejecting this response because: My AC unit stopped cooling Thursday night so I placed an emergency work order to have some come and check it. The technician came out Saturday afternoon and informed me that we would be in the heat the entire holiday weekend because they needed permission to purchase and replace the part that was needed. I called mainstreet and [redacted] told me to go and find somewhere to live until the repair is complete which would not be until Tuesday. Well its Tuesday and the home is still more than 100 degrees especially upstairs and I am awaiting approval for the part to be purchased and then must wait for the technician to come repair. The home is extremely hot. One of my sons have asthma. I have broken out in heat rash due to the sweat. Items that were suppose to be room temperature have melted. It is a huge inconvenience to be at a neighbors home when I am paying $1735 monthly. I also had to cancel the family gathering for memorial day.

Contacted complainant directly to handle issue with discretion.
Our escalation team has contacted the resident to further discuss concerns of their issues of rent and additional charges. We confirmed current balance with the resident, advice the resident that we have unlock their portal to go in and make rent payments for July and Aug. We have offer to exclude additional charges assessed on the account but the resident would have to still make payment for their rent. Per lease agreement the resident is required to make monthly payments.

I am rejecting this response because:Though Emilie Turner has spoken to me about about the resolution process, the mentioned forms needed to resolve the matter and return my deposit have not been sent to me....
She is allegedly waiting for Vice President approval and has been since early Friday morning. In the meantime, I am still without storage for the furniture I took out, and have no residence for my son and I.

Our Resident Care Support Team finalized a resolution with the Resident due to invalid charges and their account was updated accordingly. At this time all of the Resident’s concerns have been addressed.

I am rejecting this response because: I received a call on 01/04/218 from [redacted] with Main Street Renewal, stating she was calling to resolve the issue filed with Revdex.com, asking for copies of my signed lease, we agreed that she would email her contact information which I never received. I advised her I had copies and they do too. The lease was for $1,515.00 and it was signed and submitted to [redacted] who received the lease via electronically. This company decided to void the lease in October, when I was supposedly taken to Court the first time, but was dismissed because I had already paid the $1,515.00(the rent amount)? I have submitted copies of the lease for your viewing.) This company thought because they removed the documents out of their files I would not have access to it. Main Street Renewal rental company is very fraudulent and dishonest. ( [redacted] with Main Street Renewal wrote to you that I never responded to their request for my lease copy, when she never emailed me her contact information until today?)

In reviewing this request with our national move out team, the resident had been provided the correct information regarding the move out process and paint colors prior to the lease end date. Although there was minor confusion at the local level in which reimbursement has been arranged, the...
resident was provided with the tools and information to prevent any incorrect charges on the move out calculation and therefore no additional compensation will be provided at this time.

We contacted the resident to let her know that we are sending over a refund check. Provided the resident a FedEX tracking number.
