Nathan S made my refinance happen within 3 weeks from start to finish. No hassle and an excellent rate. Nathan and his team are great to work with.

Paramount made it very easy for me. Had no problems what so ever

This complaint is a customer service issue as well as a contract issue. This business is doing a refinance for my home and has made promise after promise with no follow through. A process that should have taken no more than 45 days has taken almost double causing us to have to resubmit documents. Very unorganized and lack of communication between employees. We finally signed our closing disclosure with a closing date of 10/26/2017 (per our contract) and the company failed to send the paperwork to the notary so she had to cancel. A second notary then contacted me to try to set up an 11:00 pm signing but still no paperwork sent. Here we are 10/27/2017 with no scheduled time of signing our papers. We were also promised low closing costs because we were referred by my dad to use this company. Our closing costs are over $10K! We were promised a cash out refinance of $260K only to find out as we are waiting for final approval that we don't qualify for that amount. This is causing us to have to refinance again in order to gain all of the funds we needed. I have no doubt this was ploy to force us into a refinance so they can make more money off of us. We were also promised we would not have to pay for the appraisal which we had to pay for with a promise to reimburse the cost. This also still has not happened and every time I ask they beat around the bush about it claiming they will take care of it. This company has poor ethics and business practices.

We have taken the time to look into this on our end. Our DSM *** has contacted Mrs. and informed her of the updated price exception and we will be issuing a refund on the appraisal fee. *** and team will follow up with Mrs. on continuing the loan file as well conformation of appraisal refund. We find with the provide information, the resolution to be completed on our end.

I received a letter stating that "you may be eligible to eliminate the monthly mortgage insurance on your FHA insured loan that you took out in 2009 for $162,413." I never took out a loan in 2009. I called the customer service number provided and spoke with *** who then, directed me to Ed Hamlin ( Senior loan agent) who then directed me to *** (District Manager). I left a message with *** stating my concerns. I then called the home office in Roseville, Ca and was directed to the complaints department. I spoke with Shane who advised me that he has received two other complaints about the letter. I eventually spoke with *** and he advised that it was a letter that used info gathered from FHA on the original loan taken out by the original buyer and used my name since I was the current owner. Mr. stated that he would take me off the advertising list. I spent close to 45 minutes dealing with this issue and was sent to the sales department. No one knew what was going on or was briefed that this was just an advertisement and no the actual loan.
