I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The client referenced the flyer and quantities within the store.  This issue pertained to inventory ONLINE and not within a store.  They clearly did not read the complaint or look into it at all.  To further complicate things, since I submitted this complaint, the remaining portion of my order was never shipped nor was it communicated to me that it would not shipped.  However, I was billed for the item.  In discussions with other patrons of this website, this is NOT an isolated incident and happens too often for a store of this size.   I again request that they look into this matter and determine that how in a digital world, they can sell inventory that they do not have.

I have done as requested:  For the first chair, Kohl’s should send me the legs and
hardware for the item that was incorrect on original shipment. For the second
item, Kohl’s should send a deliverperson to pick up the item when I am
available to deliver the item to the deliverperson (i.e.,...

not on some unknown
schedule when I am not free to deliver the item. Kohls should refund the money
for both of these items immediately, and Kohl’s should give me the option of receiving
the same item in direct exchange for the item I am returning.

As we have no record of our customer calling or emailing Kohl's about this concern, please have her respond with documents supporting the purchases, which qualified her for the rebates. After this is done, we would be more than happy to research this for our customer.

As a courtesy we have applied a credit back to the customer's Kohl's Charge account in the amount of $33.00. We advise the customer to keep in mind, per our policy, we can apply up to 15% off in addition to the item being adjusted.

I received an email this morning with a Kohls Cash Voucher in the amount of $22.51, however, the response from Kohls indicated that an "KMC" (unknow term) for $14.21 was also issued but I have not received this amount. I cannot consider this matter resolved until I am able to verify that Kohl's has honored its word and issued the aforementioned amounts.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.While I appreciate finally receiving a refund for the items after a month I feel that I should also be compensated for the extra amount I paid in shipping for those two items.  Those two items took my total to an amount where a higher shipping charge was charged.  Seeing as how the items never shipped and without them my shipping total would have been lower I feel that Kohls should also refund the difference in shipping.  While I know this is only a small amount, Kohls is the one who screwed up and never shipped my order so why should they make extra money off of me.  Also why would you even offer to allow me to reorder an item that clearly is no longer even available.  Kohls took so long to deal with this issue that the item in all colors and sizes is sold out.  Had this issue been dealt with in an appropriate time manner I could have reordered.  However, again because of their issues and incompetence I dont have that option. Kohls seems as if they could care less about the issues they have caused in their non-nonchalant response.

Our records indicate the return amount for order [redacted] was processed back to her Kohl's Charge account. Please allow 24-48 hours for the credit to appear on her account. We have also waived the late fee assessed to the account as well.

We advise the customer to contact our Rewards Department to update this information as there are additional items that need to be verified prior to updating her account. The can be reached at ###-###-####.

I did not witness, receive nor provide a certificate during the transaction. I
am, therefore, unaware of any supposed details which are allegedly provided on
the back of a certificate.
It was never disclosed to me, during the original purchase transaction nor
the subsequent return transaction, that should I return items the amount
refunded would be discounted and I would receive an unquantifiable
significantly lesser amount than I had originally paid.
When I purchased these items online from the business, the only information that was disclosed to
me in regards to returns was:
“Our hassle-free return
policy means worry-free shopping.
Return any item, anytime, for any reason.No receipt? No problem. We'll take care of you.Yes, you can return it in store (even if you bought it online!).”
Furthermore, the items I returned were misrepresented at
time of purchase; the measurements of the items I received were not in accordance
to the ‘size chart’ the business made available on each items’ individual webpage.
Upon receiving the items I immediately realized the business had misrepresented
the sizes; in an act of good faith, I paid $5.84 for the shipping expenses and even sent it priority mail in
an effort to quickly return the items to the business.  
Not only does the business have the items, for which I had
paid $34.21 total in their possession, they also kept more than half of my
original payment.  
The business’s false representation of their products has cost
me $23.29 plus countless hours of time spent attempting to resolve this injustice.
 
The business’s false representation of their product has caused them to gain a significant profit at my expense. I am only seeking the remainder of the amount I originally
paid for the merchandise which I promptly returned, $17.45, which was fraudulently
pocketed by the business. Regards,

requirement of each rebate is set up and specific to each vendor of our
merchandise. We realize that the merchandise is to be a gift; we would be happy
to credit her for the rebate. We will be sending the customer a $10 gift card

We expect our associates to be knowledgeable, accessible and courteous at all times....

We regret this was not the case for the customer. We advise this is being reviewed internally.

We can confirm a full return was processed for our customer. We show a credit for $50.94 on December 18, 2016 and a credit on February 09, 2017 in the amount of $50.95 which equals a total of $101.89. Our customer earned $30.00 in Kohl's Cash on her order, we can send it in the form of a gift card, but Kohl's does not accommodate for rebates not mailed. We apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, we consider this matter closed.
