ITECALERT calls you and claims to be contacting you on behalf of [redacted]. They stated to me that they ([redacted]) had been receiving numerous reports of virus intrusions on my computer and they were calling to fix the issue. After a long discussion, it became obvious they were not representing [redacted] but were in fact simply randomly calling people and plying on their fears their computer and personal information might be vulnerable. In short, this company is simply using a unique sales technique to sell their overpriced software.

My advice...if ITEC Alert calls you, hang up immediately.
