May not be a scam but definitely a shamNot Revdex.com accredited and received a grade of F1st negative indicator - no caller ID unlike legitimate businesses who's name pops upSo I played along while they did their thing meanwhile Googled them on another computer and read additional negative reviews2nd negative indicator - "certified IT engineer" talking about "if I were a senior citizen there would be a discount"So again I played along and asked him what age qualifies, told him my age, and listened to him actually try and schmooze me by saying he'd never guess I was that old, claiming I sounded much younger on the phoneReally? Last negative indicator was after listing all the prices of all the different software I really needed on this computer to combat all the, OMG, viruses, malware, and even hackers on my computer, he says hang on I need to talk to "another department" after learning my ageHe no kidding comes back on the phone within about seconds and says jokingly I owe him a box of chocolates because he just made the deal of a lifetimeBy then I knew their business ethic was ***, told him no thank you, listened to him try desperately to regain his credibility, told him more forcefully no thank you and to terminate his connection to my computer and my phoneIf you get a Caller ID of "Anonymous" or "Toll-free Service" or "Service", don't answer itA legitimate business name should show up on Caller ID

The service was fast and the problem was fixed in a short time

The Tech Support representative took complete control of my computer and checked out all the systems on my computer because I'd been hacked. He did a fantastic job with the checking and I really appreciate this service and his knowledgeable expertise. Job well done!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! They lie and have no connection to Windows. Do not buy their Internet Protection program, they charge 4 times what you can buy it for on the internet. All they want is your money and I am not sure how much damage they did to my computer, only time will tell. They will show you their product on a Best Buy website, but it is fake, Best Buy doesn't sell the E-Set Smart Security, Volume 8. All they want you to do is send them a check and then you will be totally ripped off. Windows has nothing to do with this company and they say they are Windows Tech Support and have been notified that there is a problem with your computer. Windows will never call you to report a problem. Best advice, hang up on them, they are a SCAM!
