I received a call today from "*** *** telling me that my "windows computer" had sent them a message indicating that there was malicious software on it This, apparentlywas their way around the Do Not Call list He told me he could tell it was my computer by the IP Address, which he could not provide His solution to this issue was to connect to an internet site (www.eventvwr.com) so that he could research all my files to see which ones did not belong I put him on hold until he finally took the hint He was calling from a call center with a lot of activity in the background Sounded like it was in IndiaI did not ask how "my computer" was able to provide him with my home phone Next time I will
