We were able to reach this customer regarding their concerns and have brought this complaint to an amicable resolution.We found that there had been come confusion regarding the times and dates for which the lead generation aspect of their membership was requested to be turned offAs a result, we
were able to amend the balance associated with their account and at this time the customer remains an active member of our network

We stand by our original response to this complaintWe do not find this customer's demand for a full refund for multiple years of membership with our service to be either warranted or reasonable and will continue to consider this matter closed

We were able to reach this consumer, but were not successful in bringing their complaint to an amicable resolutionBased on the leads provided and the length of the customer's membership with our service, we offered what we believed to be a fair settlement that would amend the amount of their balance and remove them from collectionsThough the customer did not accept our offer, it will remain valid should the customer decide to reconsiderAt this time we will be allowing our collections agency to handle the situation moving forward

Though we have not been able to contact this customer by phone, we have informed them by email that the review in question has now been posted and is publicly available on that contractor's profile page
Our policy dictates that contractors
with negative reviews against them are afforded the opportunity to contest that review, and once contested, they are allowed ten days to provide us documentation/evidence that the review is not accurateHaving followed this procedure, the contractor did not provide our company with any further documentation to refute the validity of this customer's claims, and therefor we have posted the review
In our email to this customer, we have let them know that if they have any further questions or concerns regarding this complaint that they are free to contact this respondent directlyIf that is the case, we will update the Revdex.com accordingly

When we spoke with the owner of the account to which this complaint pertains, they informed us that they had been unaware this complaint had been filedDuring our discussion, we did make an offer to reimburse the customer for charges incurred on tasks that they did not perform, but were told that would not be necessary and that closing their account would be sufficientSince receiving the rejection to our original response, we made another attempt to contact the owner of the account but have not yet been in touch with them againAt this time we are forced to assume that the rejection to our original response was provided by a party other than the principle account holder with which we had a conversation, and being that we are only authorized to discuss account matters with the account holder, we will await contact from them before taking any further action regarding this complaint

We have been in touch with this customer and were able to hold a productive conversation regarding the concerns listed in this complaintAs a result, we were able to reach an amicable resolution, a refund has been provided, and we have since cancelled the customer's account as requested and parted
ways on friendly terms

I am rejecting this response because: I have tried to resolve this issue every way possible by phone, email, website etcThe complaint was as stated in the 1st complaint filedThere were over leads that I was charged for that were bogus/fake calls, that I was charged forI complained and tried to have the calls refunded on the home advisor website with no refunds issued on any of the callsI suspended the acct with home advisor and changed my billing to stop the so called lead generation calls after no resolve with the companyThey had even turned the acctover to ***, a credit agency to collectI set up payments with *** so my credit would not be affectedI expect a full refund of that amount to resolve the issueHome advisor told me that the calls are all valid calls when in fact, this is the same rip off company they were under the service magic nameThese bogus lead generation companies use small businesses such as mine to trick them into thinking we will get jobs thru their lead generation service when they probably pay people a small amount to contact companies such as mine, only to request a price or reject any future contact then charge us moneyGood scam!

Although we have not been in touch with this customer's company since their complaint was filed, our customer service department has previously explained to them that we feel their balance is valid and that no refund is due.During the life of this account a substantial amount of credit was
provided, the customer's company was actively engaging with the leads being generated, and work was won by the customer's company as a result of the leads that were provided to themFurthermore, our company can never guarantee that there are no other contractors operating in a given area or that others may not sign up after their date of enrollmentDespite this, upon reviewing their lead history we can confirm that in many cases this customer's company was the only contractor provided with a given lead, and it most cases, there was only one other company presented to the homeownerThese points were explained to this complainant prior to this complaint being filed and we are at this time considering this matter closed

We have been in touch with this customer and were able to address their concernsWe found that there seems to have been a fundamental misunderstanding in regards to the nature of our service, specifically in regards to what qualifies as a billable lead as a member of our networkWe have always
maintained that our service is a form of advertising, and as such we can never guarantee contact with the homeowners that enter service requests on our websiteGiven the short time this customer was a member of our service as well as their documented concerns in our system, we were able to reach a settlement with the customer and have since parted ways on amicable terms

I did receive a formal document of work and accepted it, that to me indicates a hire The company then failed to fulfill any obligation after that I think the consumer needs complete and fair information from your site and by limiting reviews, good and bad, you are wrongly influencing their decision and compromising any objectivity.I realize that your providers pay you to be recommended and I believe that that is a conflict of interest

There does appear to have been some confusion regarding the difference between a credit and a refund as far as they are defined by our in-house terminologyTo resolve this
