I am rejecting this response because:ma'am, this is jut to keep you informed on the progress of complaint ***. this situation has still not been resolved, I contacted H7R block over two weeks ago and was told that it was being forwarded to the "funding Department" since then I have heard nothing. I was also told that they would "probably not be paying the interest and penalties that have accrued on this debtthis is not acceptable either, since this whole situation has arise due to H&R blocks incompetence.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:I do not consider this matter resolved until H&R Block delivers what I was promised.I was contacted by *** *** and I was told that by Friday, March I should receive the money owed via UPS.I was promised this several times before I got nothingSo forgive me if I don't believe a word they say. When I get the payment and it clears then I will consider this matter close. UPS came Friday to deliver a package but it wasn't from H&R Block. I also checked UPS My Choice (I also get alerts) and I don't see anything coming to my residence from H&R Block.UPS My Choice sends alerts when it has received information from the shipper regarding shipments coming to a customer address.Regards,*** ***

Dear Revdex.com, In response to this matter, our investigation reflects that Mrs***’s complaint is against a franchise office which has the responsibility to resolve this matter directly with your office and directly with the client.According to the Franchise office and
per the terms and conditions of H&R Block’s promotion “Pay us half what you paid them”, Mrs*** did not discuss the promotion with her tax professional during the tax review nor was there a receipt provided as proof of prior year tax preparation services and payment. Records further reflect that after the tax return was completed and filed, the ***'s later contacted the office to inquire about a discount Although, the promotional rules were thoroughly explained , Mrand Mrs*** remained dissatisfied. It was at this point, Mrs*** was placed in direct contact with the franchisee, *** *** According to Mr***, he listened attentively to Mrs*** as she expressed her discontent with H&R Block as a wholeIt was reiterated to Mrs*** that per the terms of the promotion, the discount would not be applied but one could be offered next tax season, Mrs*** declined the offer. records reflect that Mr*** submitted a Best of Both return on April 15, and and extension was filed with the IRS on behalf of Mr***It is the Franchise Area Manager, *** ***'s belief that she made several calls to Mr*** over the summer of as well as again in October 2014, however she did not receive a response from Mr***When Mr*** contacted *** in January, she informed him that his tax return could no longer be electronically filed, however she would prepare the return for himWhen the return was completed on February 18, 2015, *** mailed the return and instructions to submit the return to the IRS.While we regret Mr***'s dissatisfaction with the services that were provided, it is the Franchise Area Manager's belief that the return was prepared and mailed in a timely manner once Mr*** contacted the office. I am rejecting this response because: we paid 300. Plus dollars to have are taxes done correctly  .  I spoke with representative at the .time she agreed really didn't  need xtra insurance. Due to it was straight forward. Little did I know even with all the correct paperwork she made errors. I do not intend on going back to HR Block as this mistake has me concerned with thete ability to completely  and accurately  file taxes. I believe I paid for a priduct and it was nit done correctly.  They need to take responsibility for there error. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I AM SURE THERE ARE MORE PROPLE WITH SIMILAR COMPLAINTS

However, as it relates to this case, records reflect that our client’s failed to produce certain income documents during the initial tax interview that was not previously reported and as result the clients received a notice from the IRS reflecting a tax liability. As such, H&R Block cannot be held liable for the tax liability or any penalties and interest that have been assessed due to income that was never reported to the tax professional.We regret our client’s dissatisfaction with our company. I am rejecting this response because:Paraphrasing the message from the company..."our district office made several attempts to reach Mr. [redacted] by phone and email but have been unsuccessful..." is completely untrue as I have been in continuous contact with Mr. Carey [redacted], District General Manager [redacted], H&R Block.  The latest correspondence sent today a 2:43 PM CST with Mr. A[redacted] was as follows:Mr. A[redacted]:  "Thank you Mr. [redacted]!  Can you provide the name of the Tax Preparer?  I will start working on this on my end.  Thank you"I provided the information that he requested.  As of this message, the case has not be resolved to my satisfaction.

Dear Revdex.com:H&R Block has reviewed Mrs. [redacted]'s rebuttal to our prior response. This response contains H&R Block’s final position.In response to Mrs. [redacted]'s rebuttal, our review determines the rebuttal raises no new issues with H&R Block products and services. Ms. [redacted] has assisted the [redacted]'s to the fullest extent possible. The IRS has repeatedly stated that they have issued all of the refunds that the [redacted]'s are entitled to. [redacted] used the Power of Attorney that the [redacted]'s granted to her in order to communicate with the IRS directly and the IRS informed [redacted] that the [redacted]'s should file a Form 3911 to submit to the IRS in regards to the refunds they feel they are due. [redacted] sent the [redacted]'s a copy of their amended return to sign, as well as a letter that the IRS requested, and the 3911 Form by mail. [redacted] also referred the [redacted]'s to the Tax Advocate's Office within the IRS for additional assistance, as again, the IRS informed [redacted] that the [redacted]'s have been issued all refunds they have been entitled to. I am rejecting this response because their offer is useless to me as I will not have any use for their product in the future.  I do not use products with such incredibly poorly staffed customer service; especially for something as important as the timely filing of Federal and State Income Tax Returns.    Although the return eventually filed, as indicated in the response from HR Block, the filing was delayed by HR Block for 13 days while I tried many ways, over many hours and days to get help from tech support.  In addition to me wasting many hours, on several different days waiting for their "customer service" to answer (which they never did which in inexcusable), their poor service also caused my refund to be delayed at least 13 days which meant I did not have access to my own money for at least 13 days due to HR Block poorly staffed customer service.

I am rejecting this response because:
My husband and I had not responded, because we had another meeting with H&R block's local office, per their request, on August 6th.  The representative that we spoke to assured us that he would be in contact with us within a short amount of time.  We did receive a brief email from him, stating he was working on our case on the 9th of August, and that he would be back in contact with us.  This has not happened to dated.  We were waiting to responds to the Revdex.com because of this fact.  Unfortunately, I feel that H&R block are rather deliberately giving us a bit of a run around, hoping we will let this go.  All we are asking for is for them to acknowledge that their tax preparer made a mistake, and honor their written contract of assistance if the mistake was on their part.
