It has been 2 weeks since I signed on with forsalebyowner.com. I have had to call daily to try to get someone to call me back as my ad is not listed, I have no MLS number, and I have not received the services I paid for. It only took an hour for them to charge my credit card, but it's been 2 weeks and I still have nothing, including a call back from this place. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using this service to do extensive complaint searches because my experience seems to be the same as everyone else.

numerous others, the point of getting on the MLS near him is so that his home is exposed to a wider audience. In addition, the only way that anyone can have their home listed on the MLS is from a licensed broker/agent. We have contracted with outside firms to have seller's homes listed on their local MLS, but that is all they are required to do. It is not their responsibility to take photos, that is the role of a full service agent, of which ForSaleByOwner's program is not.
In addition, we have since issued a refund of $239.00, which was the amount Mr. [redacted] paid for the MLS upgrade. We do not give refunds normally for our services, but due to the items outlined in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, we are processing the $239 on 10.20.15 as goodwill.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory as long as the agent actually follows through and resolves the issue in the timeframe promised without any additional delay and without my further attention.I am extremely disappointed in the communication, the quality and timeliness of the services provided.  It is extremely difficult to communicate sith ForSaleByOwner )FSBO) and get results.  The timeliness of service is not as advertised.  It has taken the agent 3 weeks to get our home listed on [redacted], verses one day and it is now over one month verses 7-10 days  to be listed on [redacted].com if the agents follows through as promised this time. It is frustrating and disappointing that it takes a formal complaint with services such as the Revdex.com and 2 vacations days off of work just to communicate AND get results with ForSaleByOwner.   I would have expected after excessive delays, numerous phone calls and emails from me to FSBO and the assigned agent they would have offered their best people to help correct this issue and do something to try and make up for all of the lost time and opportunity.  Every call to FSBO the response was "someone will get back with you within 2 days".  No one offered solutions, no one seemed to even understand or have much empathy for the complaints and requests for help.  Only two different people from FSBO ever did call back, one I do know reached out and finally contacted the Agent who had sat on our paperwork for 3 weeks and I do appreciate that person.  Working with FSBO has required my constant attention to follow up and ensure they have fulfilled their commitments.  I am disappointed FSBO has never offered anything to try and make up for the lost month, the lost opportunities and the missed prime window for selling my home.  I was not prepared for the headaches, frustrations, a full month of delays and the need to take 2 personal vacation days or the need to file formal, repeat complaints with the Revdex.com  just to follow up on the commitments and promises for services I paid for with ForSaleByOwner.

I was contacted today 9/25/2015, by a ForSaleByOwner representative informing me that the yard sign was being expedited. Following this call, I reviewed by property listing on their web site not seeing a revised shipping date nor any tracking number as a record of shipment. I still suspect they do not have any signs to ship. The yard sign is part of the package that I purchased. I was told that ForSaleByOwner business has no control over the errors posted for my property by the the other web site that they are partnered with. Further, that I would have to communicate directly with those web sites.I am requesting Revdex.com to assist with getting tracking information as a record of proof they have yard signs to ship.

requires a seller to complete the online application for the Home Selling Guarantee, the customer will then be proved a list of 3 agents to select from, and then, once the house is sold using our referral agent, we refund the entire amount of the package. Regarding the changes made by [redacted], as our Terms and Conditions state in Paragraph G, “as part of all three of our Service Plans, we will submit your property listing information to other, third-party websitesfor inclusion on those sites. Please be aware that you are not purchasing a listing with these other sites as part of the fee that you pay us, and that any of those sites may reject your listing for any reason or change their own services.” We have no control over any third party sites. As a result of the change by [redacted] that impacted all By Owner companies and not just ForSaleByOwner.com, we provided the link that [redacted] gave us for sellers to list their house on [redacted]’s sites, as well as mentioneda credit available to upgrade to the next package, if a seller so decided to. The credit equaled the entire cost of your previous package to be applied towards the next package upgrade. Your package that you did purchase placed your listing on Realtor.com for a 6 month period. Your property was placed on Realtor.com and was marketed on Realtor.com, as provided by the package you purchased. However, we will be issuing a refund for $185. This is the amount of your purchase ($359) minus a cancellation fee ($174), since the property was placed on, and marketed on, Realtor.com, as well as [redacted], until they changed their business model.

ForSalebyOwner cannot offer a refund once the property is listed through one of our listing agents.
Explained that our syndicated/partner sites take up to 72 hours to collect the information from ForSalebyOwner, so there is a lag in when the other sites are active.
In terms of the yard signs, explained that we were getting caught up with the back-order and would begin shipping signs out this week and next week.
The customer was listed on our site, our partner sites, the MLS and Realtor.com and because of this we cannot offer a refund.

My property was listed by FSBO on July 8, which is 10 full days from the time of first contact with the service. In terms of being listed on partner sites, I had to contact those companies directly, receive clarification as to why I was not listed, found out it was the fault of FSBO, and ended up doing this myself. I also had to upload all pictures and fill all descriptions, which is a process that took hours of my time. As of right now, we are 26 days post payment, and I have not received a yard sign. In short, I do not believe I have received a single benefit from this service, and have spent much time trying to coordinate with and contact your representatives for something that should have been taken care of as part of a professional service. Being listed on "partner sites", which do not affiliate themselves with FSBO.com, by my own doing, is not grounds to deny a refund.

ForSalebyOwner successfully listed this customer's property on our partner sites including the Local MLS and Realtor.com. Our customer support representatives provide 7 day a week support and are available to assist with any aspect of the process. However, our representatives are not obligated to build our customer's Ads since ForSalebyOwner is a self-service website. Our yard sign orders have recently gone over to Amazon.com and are being fulfilled. We apologize for this delay but we cannot offer any form of refund for delayed yard sign orders.
Lastly, this customer has been listed on the Local MLS and Realtor.com through one of our 3rd party affiliates and because of this, we cannot offer a refund since this service has been provided.
