to Revdex.com Northwest• Door to door Crazy Frog Pest Control Salesman, Daniel S, at our home said numerousneighbors had their service. Daniel offered us a monthly service. We declined.• He then promoted a discounted Quarterly service and said we could discontinue the service atany time. Per Daniel, each application wll! take approximately 30-45 minutes. We agreed to trythe quarterly visits.• He stated they only accept payment by visa credit or bank debit card and requested payment foran entire year. We said we would only pay for each service visit upon completion.• Daniel than handed over an I.PAD, with a blank screen, and asked for a signature to start theservice. We signed the blank screen. We didn't see, nor did we sign a service agreement or acontract. He never informed us we were signing a service agreement or a contract.• The first service was completed in late October. We paid $107.52, by giving the technician ourdebit card number on site, as he stated he didn't have an attached "cube" to his I PAD forswiping, and he entered our bank debit card number in the I PAD. We told him we didn't wantour account number logged into their records and that we had been informed a "~evice cube"would be available to swipe for payment.• The second service visit was on 12/07/17 and lasted nine minutes in duration. Later that day,we called their Meridian I D. Main office and discontinued any further treatments or service.• Crazy Frog, stated we had signed a contract (service agreement), and we had to pay the full yearamount plus monies for discounted services. They said we would receive in the mail an invoicefor discounted service fees as well as other contracted fees and a letter of explanation. Wewere threatened if we didn't pay the full amount, we would be "turned over'' to a collectionagency.• On 12/26/17 we received a non-dated/non signed letter from Crazy Frog (three pages induration: letter, account statement, and service agreement) see attached. The letter stated wehad two options, and an account statement with a balance due of $207.51.• Attached find a final letter we mailed to Crazy Frog, which included a money order in theamount of $107.52 for the nine minutes of service on 12/07/17.Complaint Form • We do not owe the $100.00 balance mentioned in their letter. This amount was nevermentioned to us prior to their letter. We never saw, nor did we sign a contract (serviceagreement). We feel we owe Crazy Frog nothing further. We want no further contact with theircompany as we $tated in our letter to them.

and *** signed up for our services on 10/27/17. Once the agreement is signed it is on the agreement and nothing can be added or changed and an email copy is sent directly to the customer. As seen in the agreement that was attached by Mrs. the agreement was for 5 quarterly services. Since a discount was given on the first service when a customer wants to cancel outside of the agreement we ask that they pay for the full price of the initial service that cost $299.00. For *** that discount or cost to cancel would have been $200.00 but her and Daniel (salesman) renegotiated this price to $100.00. Daniel left a note for the technician to collect payment for the initial service that cost $107.51 after tax. He also noted they may not auto pay for future services and after the service was completed the technician entered the payment information and left a note for the office to switch to monthly billing and to put on auto pay indicating they had talked about switching to monthly billing and auto pay. We received a call in on 12/07/17 and she requested to cancel because she felt like she didn't receive what she thought she was going to. At this time, we explained the service we do in the winter and if she had any additional things she wanted done we would send someone back as we warranty all of our services. At this *** had denied services and just denied ever having an agreement with us. We tried multiply times to discuss this agreement with and she did not want to. At this time our customer service representative passed her information to a manager who tried calling Mrs. with no return call. After not receiving a call back we then sent her the letter that outline a few options for ***. Option 1— Pay the balance of the original discount ($100.00) Option 2 — Remove the balance of $100.00 and continue the services as outlined in the agreement. We then received a response from Mrs. and again we tried reaching her multiply times and had her salesman reach out as well to discuss these two options. We again received no call back. We are a license and insured company and we have attached both documentation. Please let us know if you need any further information from us.

On 12-4 -2017 I asked the crazy frog to end my service via email. They responded with a question as to why which I responded its winter. Received an email saying the ticket was closed . 01/02/2018 I get charged again. Called the company to ask why and they say I have to pay to get out of service. So I am being told a different story now.

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response • Jan 03, 2018

Mr. signed up with our company on 10/02/17. At the time he signed up, it was explained that he would have quarterly services. The first quarterly service being 45-60 days later. We returned on 11/16/17 to do his quarterly service. Upon signing up the ***s, they agreed to have their quarterly service payment be split up over 3 months. Mr. paid for his initial service in full then his quarterly service in November, December and January. Mr. then emailed us on 12/04/17 saying to cancel his winter service. He then called our office on 1/02/17 and we explained that we would cancel his winter service (even though we don't recommend it) and we could cancel his account but we would just ask that he pay back the original discount we gave him since he was not going to finish the original 12 month/5 service agreement that he signed. Mr. decided to go through with the cancellation and we did add the original discount we gave him to his invoice and closed the account. Attached is the copy of the agreement that Mr. signed.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: In the email I sent on 12-4 2017 I asked for service to be canceled
.she asked why, I said it was winter and there are no spiders. There were no mention on that day of a service cancel fee. I was charged again 1/2/2017 for the service and 190.00 cancel fee. I had never seen a copy of the service agreement until 01/02/2018. I have another company do lawn and tree service and there has never been a cancel fee or contract, when they come I pay. This company does not come to do a service and still got paid. I am assuming this business likes taking advantage of customers.
Sincerely

When I contacted them on 12-4 -2017 about cancelling contract/ service all I was asked was why. They sent confirmation of closed ticket. I am very dissatisfied with this company. But it seems they really don't care about customer service. Word of mouth.

Mr.s response implied that he did not want services in the winter not that he wanted to cancel all together. As soon as we knew he wanted to cancel his service altogether we reminded him of the agreement that he had signed.

My husband signed up in May due to high pressure salesman. Since the initial service we did not have a decrease in activity, we called salesman to cancel and were told he would send out a head tech immediately (next Monday) again no decrease in bugs, we gave it a month, no better... Called to cancel and again and was told we should have never called the salesman to complain before - again with the high pressure to send out a head tech and not cancel - surely this time they could get it figured out right??? We reluctantly agreed to give them one more chance. No such luck, still no decrease in bug activity, this time we emailed to cancel. 7 emails later and we are more than frustrated. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! We are even willing to pay the cancelation fee (the discount given to suck you in) They refuse to cancel and keep deducting money from our checking account. Is this legal???

I signed up witb crazy frog pest control in richland at 1104 potter ave for the landlord because there where ants everywhere in the house after them taking money from my bank accout for 4 moths they only came out 2 times to spray and the secound time they didnt even do everything that was in the contract per my baby sitter said me and my family were givin two weeks to move because the landlord was selling house I had called them a month ago because they keep taking money from my account and I told them I had moved to an rv resort and didnt need the service anymore they refunded my money that was that well I get on my bank account this morning and anouther 40$ was taking out of my account not happy this company is a horrible one no customer service and you cant get ahold of them.

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

Mr. Lewis had called our company on 09/21/17 to inform us of the move. At this time, he was still in agreement with us and because of his circumstances, we did ask that he send us a proof of address change and we would void out the remainder of the agreement. Once this proof of address change was provided, his account was closed and refunded any charge that were towards his future services.

We were promised pest control and that it would take a "few weeks" we would pest see activity decrease - it did not. We called the salesman to cancel and were told they would come back out and spray again. They did, no difference, we called again, this time the office and were told we should not have called the salesman but they were very pushy and refused to cancel, said that their product was great and they would again come out and spray. I met the technician and showed him the extent of pests we still had. He sprayed concentrated amounts on the areas I showed him. We then had dead praying mantises show up later that week but no decrease in earwigs or spiders. Nice! We emailed this time and were told we could not cancel as it was beyond the 3 days we had to cancel. Hmmm... product does not work for two weeks but we only have three days to cancel? After 4 emails stating "this is our official cancelation notice" we are still unsure if they cancelled our service.
We would be happy if the product worked but after 4 sprays we are certain it is not working at our house. We have allowed them to try to fix the problem but spraying again at this point is not an option. We not only want out of the contract but why are we paying for a product that did not work? How could they even ask that?

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

We came out for the initial service at this customer's property on 5/30/17, three days after they signed up for services. The three day cancellation grace period by law is 3 days following the signing of the agreement, not the initial service rendered. We came out for the second service on 6/26/17 and the third on 7/27/17. All services that we complete are covered under our service warranty and we will send a technician out free of charge to re treat the home to take care of the customer's concerns. At this time we are unable to refund payments that this customer has made, as they are going towards services that have already been completed. The pests that the customer is seeing are likely due to the fact that they are due for another service currently and we were not asked to re service after 7/27/17. We are more than happy to send another technician out to take care of their concerns, but at this time we are unable to cancel the account.

Crazy Frog Pest Control were terrible at controlling pests. We hired them right after we moved into our home. We live near a wooded area and thought we might have mice under our house. They set mice traps around the outside of the house and in the crawl space, unfortunately, they did not do a thorough inspection of the crawl space and did not notice we actually had a rat problem. If Crazy Frog had done a real inspection, we might have caught our problem earlier.
It was near impossible to schedule Crazy Frog technicians at a time when we'd be home so they could check the crawl space. I found out later they only have one truck for our area and they also have a call service, so you don't always get to talk to the actual people that work there. In the following months they failed to notice, let alone control or prevent, the damage that was occurring under our house. They also failed to notice the two inch rat hole that appeared next to our house. When we finally figured out we had a serious problem, I called them (after repeated attempts) and told them we had rats. They said we hadn't mentioned rats. Isn't that their job? Prevention? Control? (We had mentioned moles, but they didn't control that problem either.) They said they'd come out the following Monday to check our crawl space. They never showed up. Never called. After more repeated calls to the call center, I found out their one truck was in the shop and it would be another week before they could make it. I immediately terminated our service, but the damage was done and it's going to cost us thousands.

We were told when we signed up that we could cancel if we were not satisfied. No problem they said. They said that even if we didn't spray inside, we would be fine, no bugs, no cobwebs. We have never been satisfied. They come out for literally 10 minutes and we have a large home. Cobwebs and bugs outside never went away. We have never seen bugs inside the house anyway.

In any case, we called to cancel, and they just kept closing the ticket. We tried to call, never anybody available. They did send out people, but always when we were not there, only our kids. They skipped scheduled appointments with no notice.

So we finally go back and forth with them wanting to cancel, and now they want $230 to do that. Saying that we were told of this before we signed. But we were not. Saying that they gave us a discount to start of $230. Literally spent 10 minutes, and they want us to believe that is worth $230?

This feels like such a scam. They come over, say they just got done working on a neighbors house and wanted to see if we wanted to try the service, no risk. Well, guess what, none of our neighbors that we can find are using their service. So that was a total lie as far as we can tell.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

As soon as I filed this, I got an email from the manager saying that they would cancel my account and not charge me the fee. Which is what I was requesting. So I guess this complaint is resolved. Thanks

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

We received this customer's concerns and have cancelled their account at no charge to compensate for previous miscommunication and their dissatisfaction with the service.

When Crazy Frog Pest Control first came to my home soliciting service, I decided to allow them to due their pest service on my yard on a trial basis as this was the first pest service we had used. Never once did the salesman/conman say that I was signing up for a two year agreement. Even on the pad that I signed it did not show a two year agreement.

Crazy Frog is a shady company. Their "spray" does not get rid of bugs. Their granules for your grass do not even dissolve. I still have some as proof. I have spent almost $200.00 this summer because their spray attracts bugs after every time that have been here. It does not kill the bugs. And they do not perform even remotely the service we are paying for.

The first person to co.e out was at our house for 7 minutes yes that is right 7 minutes. The next person did not brush the eves for spider and wasp nests or dust the window sills or spray our island bushes or trees. The third person to come out came with other person and they put fertilizer granules down instead of bug killer on my grass.

An inept con artist company at best. They hide that you are signing up for a 2 year commitment and they even refused to email the contract to us until today we signed up 4 months ago! And the signature on it is not even Mine! I would love a hand writing analysis done on that signature because it is not even remote how I have signed any thing in 20 years, maybe if I was 3years old.

Oh and 3 supposed services later still have ants along my sidewalk and wasps still making nests on my house. I have taken care of the aphids and beetles and wasps in my kids play house no thanks to them.

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

We have contacted our consumer and have resolved the matter with him directly.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Lied to about a service "done", which they billed me for, and refuse to offer any compensation or acknowledge their service man (no longer works there) lied. I was not called prior to him going to my home and they will not service with a dog free in the yard. Magically, this man broke their policy, without me home, and my dog roaming free, and "serviced". I can guarantee you my dog let nobody in my back yard. They dont care about customers, they care about money. I was blatantly told they would take my message, but a return call was not guaranteed. Boy were they right. Have repeatedly requested a return call from an actual HUMAN BEING and have never received a call. Emails refusing to acknowledge their wrong doing but for sure theyve gotten their money.I called them sept 2nd due to yet another invasion of ants in my home. This is on top of the weeks I had already been spraying and trying kill all the ants on the outside of my home. Couldn't get out until the 7th and confirmed a call prior to arrival. Surprise, no call. No service. Continually told I will get call 20 to 30 min before arriving.Have never received a call. This past Saturday (AFTER another missed service call, that I took time off of work for...BECAUSE NOBODY CALLED), someone finally showed up, again no call, and admitted he didnt try to call. Comfirmed nobody would have entered my yard without me here and a dog roaming free, and admitted the service guy from june "did some weird stuff" and didnt service my home." "He no lomger works for us". This nice young man confirmed my number.Ive asked for a refund for the june service not complete, denied. Return calls, denied.I am more than happy to pay for services rendered. Cancel my contract or address and resolve the issies at hand. Ive spent over 200 for what? Now im waiting another 2 to 3 weeks for someone to come back and spray for spiders because that couldn't be done this past weekend.

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to refund your requested $100 as this is for a service that has already been completed on your home.
You received your initial service on 5/22/17 and were charged $107.51. You received your first quarterly service on 6/23/17 and have paid for the full charge of #107.51. You received your second quarterly on 9/09/17 and have so far only paid $35.84 of the $107.51 charge for this service.
Due to this we cannot refund money that pays for previously completed services. We GPS track all of our technician's vehicles and have the proper documentation showing that each technician was at your home during your appointment time and completed services at your home.
We take pride in our work and are confident in our services so we do warranty everything that we do. Due to this we are more than happy to come back out to reservice your property in between your paid services to make sure all of your pest concerns are taken care of. We want to do our best to make sure your concerns are resolved and you will be happy with future services.

Crazy Frog Pest Control has been avoiding returning my numerous calls regarding double billing me. I was told that I had to pay on site each time the pest control service was administered. I was also informed that even though I was paying a monthly fee I would be expected to pay in full on site and would be refunded the monthly billing fee. I have called three times a day over the past three days to discuss the situation, but no one would talk to me. One company operator hung up on me. I asked for the company manager to return my calls, but the company manager failed to return my calls. I also was told under my contract that if insects were entering my home the company would come to home free of charge. I set up an appointment, but no one showed at my home. I called and tried to reschedule for someone to come to my home, but no one showed up. I called several times over several days to reset my appointment and at this time no one has returned my calls. I was home the original day of my appointment and each day I called Crazy Frog Pest Control. I would like to file a formal complaint against Crazy Frog Pest Control.

Customer Response

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely

The service technician was prompt and professional. He was knowledgeable about the products used and explained the service contract. He was quick and thorough.

Quick... efficient ... thorough ... friendly ... we are very happy with their service

I entered into a one-year contract with Crazy Frog Pest Control, which they violated in the following ways. I did pay them $49 for the only pest control service they have performed at my home. I have asked them (in writing, via US mail) to cancel the contract, but they will not unless I pay the remainder of the amount on it, which is $250.00. I want the contract ended with no further payment due from me.
Crazy Frog Pest Control violated this contract by:
The initial (and only) service was not performed completely. Their agreement states "while initial services do take a long time...future services in 20 to 30 minutes." The initial service was completed in 35 minutes, including paperwork and a discussion with the technician. This was certainly not "a long time" -- it was nearly the time their regular service is purported to take.
Secondly:
When their salesman explained the service, he said I would be alerted to the future service appointments in advance. That was not done. I received an email on June 28, 2017 telling me that service was performed on June 20, 2017. That service was not performed -- I was telecommuting at the time, and I know it was not. Plus, there was no tag left on the front door (as I was told there would be) alerting me that service had been performed. Again, I paid Crazy Frog Pest Control the $49 for the initial service they performed -- even though that was (by their own estimation) done in much less time than it should have been. As there has been no subsequent service performed, and I contacted them in writing on July 9, 2017 to cancel this contract of which they are in violation, I owe Crazy Frog Pest Control no further money. I want this contract cancelled, with no further money owed to Crazy Frog Pest Control by me, and I want Crazy Frog to stop contacting me.

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response

Ms *** received her first service at her home on 5/25/17. All of our company vehicles are tracked via GPS and each job is time stamped by the technician when arriving and leaving the property. The technician that completed this initial service was at the home for 59 minutes, 6:53- 7:54pm. There was no service completed on 7/20/17 as the customer is claiming, this is just a statement of her monthly billing cycle being applied to her account, and has since been refunded per the customer's request. At this point we have not violated the contract, and the early termination fee has been applied and explained to the customer.

Customer Response

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: in regard to the initial service, and the GPS tracking, perhaps the tech and his truck were there during that entire time, but he must have just been sitting in the truck for approx. 30 minutes because he spoke with me, performed the service, and concluded the paperwork with me in 35 minutes.

As to the second service, I did not say it was performed. I said their email indicated service had been performed on the date indicated, which I knew had not been done.

I believe Crazy Frog Pest Control is in violation of this contract. They have been paid for the work they actually performed. As a good business practice, they should officially terminate this contract and agree that the issue is concluded.

Sincerely

This was my first application and Greg went above and beyond what my current pest control service provides. He covered everything Ryan said he would and then did even more. He was great.

They were very knowledgable and thorough, which is exactly what I want from a pest control business.

The young man that came by our house was polite and knowledgeable. We have seen great results with just the first treatment. I am so glad the wasps are no longer living with us!!

We have been using this company for approximately a year now. This is the first year that we didn't get sugar ants in our home. Their product has been working and their customer service is very good. We recently had Joshua and Francisco as our pest technicians. Good job guys!

Crazy Frog has excellent service. They took time to listen to my concerns & explained what action they will take to solve the problem. They are very professional. They said they will be back in 2 weeks for follow-up service.

Had an ant issue about a month after singing up for pest control. Called and they came out that week and sprayed everything again including inside great response and professional employee
