The whole Refinance process is clearly explained to me by Stephen [redacted] on our first call. After that,All communication was over email which is very convenient as I can check my mail after work and respond accordingly. Filling up the application and uploading of required document is online which is easy and again very convenient. The whole closing process is simple , as expected and no surprises at all. It was important to me and my husband that we got the best deal, so we started our loan process by comparing three different lenders. The other two encouraged us to avoid any online lending and told us many horror stories to make their case. Based on the promising numbers we went forward - cautiously - with Consumer Direct. The loan closed around after 30 days the first call (closing took less than an hour and was at our home). Consumer Direct. Just finished the re-financing process. I was very skeptical about going through what was essentially an electronic process. Today I received a loan quote from Brian G. at ConsumerDirect. I have been talking with other lenders. Brian was the most professional, straight-forward and knowledgable lender I spoke with. He answered all of my questions even though the particular product I called about is not available from this company in my state. He was patient, kind and honest. My experience with CDM was fantastic! Steve S., Tiffany W., and Jennifer Y. were the most positive and dedicated lenders that I have ever worked with. They were always quick to respond to emails and calls - even working on our loan over weekends to meet deadlines. I was extremely pleased with the level of customer service they provided, even when the closing feel through due to home repairs that were not completed. I was worried that CDM had put in a lot of work for no return, but Steve assured me that was not the case, and promised to be available when we found another home to purchase.
Overall, I know I made the best decision in selecting CDM as our lender.
